Frequently Asked Questions

Downtown Utqiagvik (formerly Barrow) sits about a mile from BRW, a quick ride of roughly five minutes. We quote all inclusive flat rates by vehicle class covering meet and greet, luggage handling, and gratuity. Email info@unionlimousine.com or call +1 (718) 514-9881 for an exact quote to your hotel or lodging.

Yes. Utqiagvik sits well north of the Arctic Circle, and visitors often want photo stops at the famous archway of whale bones, the Arctic Ocean shoreline, and Point Barrow itself. We coordinate transfers, photo stops, and lodge connections in line with your tour operator's schedule and daylight conditions.

Yes. Premium SUVs run year round with winter rated tires during the long cold season. Utqiagvik's gravel roads, deep cold, and blowing snow make SUVs the preferred option from October through May. Chauffeurs are trained for extreme cold weather driving and routine vehicle warm up procedures.

Yes. Complimentary meet and greet is standard for every BRW booking. Your chauffeur waits in the small arrivals area holding a name sign, helps with luggage, and walks you to the warmed vehicle. This is especially welcome during polar night when temperatures drop well below zero outside.

Yes. Every BRW reservation includes complimentary live flight tracking. Utqiagvik weather and fog occasionally delay or divert flights from Anchorage. If your inbound flight runs late or diverts to Fairbanks or Deadhorse, the pickup window updates automatically at no extra charge and diversions are handled case by case.

Twenty four hours of lead time is the recommended minimum. For summer tour season under the midnight sun, polar night aurora viewing, or large group transfers, please book three to five days ahead. Last minute BRW requests are accepted whenever availability allows through online booking or phone.

Cancellations made 24 or more hours before pickup receive a full refund. Cancellations within 12 to 24 hours of pickup may incur a partial fee. Same day or no show situations are charged in full. Weather diversions or airline cancellations on the Anchorage-Utqiagvik route are reviewed without penalty.

Yes. We arrange transfers from BRW to popular Arctic Ocean access points, the whale bone arch, and shoreline lookouts where visitors often dip a toe in the ocean. Tour stops are coordinated with your guide or hotel, and SUV vehicles are recommended for the gravel road conditions year round.

Yes. Rear facing infant seats, forward facing toddler seats, and booster seats are available with advance notice. Please supply the child's age, weight, and height at booking so the correct seat is ready before pickup at Utqiagvik Airport. A small fee applies based on seat type and trip length.

Yes. BRW car service runs year round, including the polar night period from mid November to late January when the sun does not rise. Chauffeurs are experienced with extreme cold operations, vehicle warm ups, and aurora viewing requests. Headlights and reflective gear are standard on every winter trip.
