Yes. Dillingham is the gateway to Bristol Bay sockeye salmon fishing, drawing anglers each summer for the world's largest sockeye run. We coordinate transfers to the harbor, floatplane bases, and lodges along the Wood and Nushagak rivers. SUVs and Sprinter vans handle gear loads and group bookings well.
Yes. Premium SUVs are available with seating for up to six and ample luggage room for fishing gear, waders, coolers, and dry bags. SUVs handle Dillingham's gravel roads and the route out toward Aleknagik well and remain the popular choice for fishing groups and corporate guests visiting the region.
Yes. Complimentary meet and greet is standard for every DLG booking. Your chauffeur waits at the arrivals area holding a name sign, helps with luggage, and escorts you to the vehicle. This setup works well for fishing parties arriving with multiple bags, coolers, rod tubes, and tackle gear.
Yes. Every DLG reservation includes complimentary live flight tracking. Bristol Bay weather and fog can delay or divert flights from Anchorage. If your inbound flight runs late, the pickup window adjusts automatically at no extra charge and any diversions are handled case by case without penalty.
Twenty four hours of lead time is the recommended minimum. For peak sockeye salmon season between June and August, hunting season in fall, or large group transfers, please book three to five days ahead. Same day DLG requests are accepted whenever availability allows through online booking or phone.
Cancellations made 24 or more hours before pickup receive a full refund. Cancellations within 12 to 24 hours of pickup may incur a partial fee. Same day or no show situations are charged in full. Weather diversions or airline cancellations on the Anchorage-Dillingham route are reviewed without penalty.
Yes. Many guests fly into Dillingham connecting to fishing lodges via floatplane or boat. We provide DLG to floatplane base, harbor, and ground accessible lodge transfers, with timing coordinated against your charter pilot or lodge host. Sprinter vans accommodate full fishing parties with all gear in a single run.
Yes. Rear facing infant seats, forward facing toddler seats, and booster seats are available on request. Please share the child's age, weight, and height at booking so the correct seat is installed before pickup at Dillingham Airport. A small fee applies based on seat type and trip length.
Yes. DLG car service runs year round. Bristol Bay winters bring snow, ice, and strong wind, and our chauffeurs are trained for these conditions. Vehicles run with winter rated tires during cold months. Trips are paused only when state troopers or local authorities issue travel advisories for the region.
