Barkley Regional (PAH) Airport Limo Service
Predawn Chicago departures and evening Houston arrivals are both covered by our Barkley Regional (PAH) Airport Limo Service, with chauffeurs who track every flight and wait right at the terminal curb.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Barkley Regional (PAH) Airport
Flying into West Paducah puts you at the far western edge of the Commonwealth, where the Ohio and Tennessee rivers meet and the nearest big city hub is a two hour drive away. Our Kentucky airport limo service at Barkley Regional Airport exists for exactly this geography. A chauffeur meets your United Express jet at the terminal curb, loads your bags, and drives you straight to Paducah, the Lakes region, Murray, or any address across Kentucky, KY without a rental counter or a waiting game in between.
Union Limousine has run chauffeured transportation since 1997, and the PAH operation follows the same standard we hold at every airport we serve: a confirmed vehicle, a vetted driver, flight tracking on every pickup, and a flat quote agreed before you travel. Barkley Regional handles two daily jet arrivals and two departures, so timing matters here in a way it does not at a hub with hourly flights. We build each reservation around that schedule.
Chauffeured Rides Built Around Your PAH Flight Times
Barkley Regional is a small airport with a precise rhythm. The Chicago flight leaves before sunrise, the Houston arrival lands in the early evening, and the ticket counter closes a firm 30 minutes before departure. Our dispatch team knows this schedule and plans every PAH limo service around it.
Arrivals from Chicago O'Hare and Houston Intercontinental
The inbound flight from O'Hare touches down around midday and the Houston arrival lands in the early evening. Your chauffeur tracks the aircraft from wheels up, adjusts for any delay at the hub, and is parked at the curb outside baggage claim when you step through the terminal doors. With one baggage carousel and a short walk from the gate, you are usually in the car within ten minutes of landing.
Early Departures and the 5:00 A.M. Chicago Flight
The morning departure to Chicago requires passengers to be at the counter by 4:30 A.M., which means a 3:30 A.M. or 4:00 A.M. pickup for most of our Paducah and Marshall County clients. We run predawn airport transfers every day of the week, and the driver confirms by text the night before so you can sleep until the last reasonable minute.
Where We Drive Across Western Kentucky and Beyond?
The airport sits on US Route 60 about 14 miles west of downtown Paducah, with Interstate 24 a short hop to the south. From that spot we cover the entire Jackson Purchase, the Pennyrile, and every neighboring state within a day's drive.
Paducah and McCracken County
Downtown Paducah, the Lower Town Arts District, the riverfront floodwall murals, the National Quilt Museum, the Carson Center, and the Julian Carroll Convention Center are all 20 to 25 minutes from the terminal. Hotels along Hinkleville Road near Kentucky Oaks Mall are closer still. Our Barkley Regional Airport car service runs these routes all day and handles hotel to venue shuttles once you are settled in town.
Lakes Region, Murray and the Jackson Purchase
Kentucky Lake, Lake Barkley, Kentucky Dam Village, Land Between the Lakes, and the marinas around Grand Rivers and Benton draw anglers, boaters, and family reunions through most of the year. Murray State University, Mayfield, Calvert City, Wickliffe, and Fulton round out the western counties we serve on a daily basis. For any of these destinations, our limo service in Kentucky quotes a flat rate from PAH, so a trip to a lake house costs the same on a holiday weekend as it does on a Tuesday.
Southern Illinois and Cape Girardeau Connections
A large share of PAH passengers live across the river. Metropolis, Marion, Carbondale, Harrisburg, and the Southern Illinois University campus are all within 90 minutes, and Cape Girardeau sits about an hour to the west in Missouri. Chauffeurs crossing the Ohio River bridges check construction and lane closures through the Illinois Department of Transportation road conditions map before each run, so a bridge project on Interstate 24 never catches you by surprise.
Long Distance Transfers to Nashville, St. Louis and Louisville
When a connection through O'Hare or Houston does not fit your itinerary, we drive. Nashville International is about two hours southeast, St. Louis Lambert is roughly three hours northwest, and Louisville Muhammad Ali International is a little under four hours east along Interstate 24 and the Western Kentucky Parkway. Many of our corporate accounts book a PAH arrival on the outbound leg and a Nashville departure on the return, and a single chauffeur handles both ends.
Who Books a Limo at Barkley Regional?
The passengers stepping off the United Express jet at PAH tend to fall into a handful of groups, and we have a vehicle and a service plan for each.
- Executives visiting the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant site, the river terminals at Calvert City, or the industrial parks in McCracken and Marshall counties who need a quiet sedan and a driver who knows the plant gates.
- Quilt Week attendees who arrive in groups each spring and fall and want a Sprinter or stretch limousine for museum, hotel, and show floor transfers.
- Wedding parties celebrating at Lake Barkley lodges, downtown Paducah venues, or farm estates in Graves and Calloway counties.
- Medical travelers headed to Baptist Health Paducah or Mercy Health Lourdes who need a smooth ride and help with luggage.
- Families reuniting at Kentucky Lake rentals who land on the same flight and need one vehicle for everyone and their coolers.
- Murray State visitors, recruits, and alumni traveling between the airport and campus for games, orientation, and homecoming.
Every one of these trips can be arranged through our chauffeur service in Kentucky with hourly or point to point pricing. Groups that outgrow an SUV often move to our Sprinter van service in Kentucky, which keeps everyone together with room for luggage, golf bags, and fishing gear.
Our Fleet for Barkley Regional Airport
We assign vehicles by passenger count, luggage volume, and route. Every vehicle in the PAH rotation is a late model, detailed before each dispatch, and driven by a chauffeur who is licensed, insured, and background checked.
Sedans (Up to 3 Passengers)
Executive sedans suit solo business travelers and couples. A standard sedan holds three passengers with two large suitcases and carry on luggage. Typical PAH uses include airport to downtown hotel transfers, plant site visits, and quiet rides to Murray for a campus meeting.
SUVs (Up to 6 Passengers)
Full size SUVs carry up to six passengers with luggage, and they are the right call for family trips to the lakes, winter travel on rural roads, and executive teams who want to ride together. Three row seating keeps the cabin comfortable on the 90 minute run to Carbondale or Cape Girardeau.
Stretch Limousines (Up to 20 Passengers)
Stretch limousines range from eight passenger classics to 20 passenger super stretches. Paducah wedding parties, bachelor and bachelorette groups bound for the Lake Barkley lodges, and milestone birthday celebrations book these for the ride from PAH to the venue and the return the next day.
Sprinter Vans (Up to 14 Passengers)
Mercedes Sprinter vans seat up to 14 with standing headroom and a rear luggage bay. Quilt Week tour groups, corporate site teams, and family reunions with a dozen people on the same flight rely on Sprinters, which handle the two lane roads around Land Between the Lakes without any trouble.
Party Buses (Up to 30 Passengers)
Party buses hold up to 30 guests with perimeter seating, lighting, and audio. They are a popular choice for weekend celebrations that start at the airport and continue through downtown Paducah, Metropolis casinos, or lake marinas with multiple stops along the way.
Mini Charter Buses (Up to 35 Passengers)
Mini coaches seat up to 35 with forward facing seats and undercarriage luggage space. Murray State athletic programs, church groups, and conference organizers at the Julian Carroll Convention Center book these for airport pickups that need to move an entire team in one trip.
Full Size Charter Buses (Up to 56 Passengers)
Full size motorcoaches carry up to 56 passengers with restrooms, climate control, and ample luggage bays. Large wedding guest lists, regional festival groups, and corporate retreats arriving on consecutive flights use a single coach to shuttle everyone from PAH to hotels in Paducah or lodges in the Lakes region.

History and Role in Western Kentucky
The airfield began life in 1941 as a wartime training base before the county took it over for civilian use after 1945. Commercial air service started on April 1, 1946, when a Chicago & Southern Air Lines Douglas DC3 departed for St. Louis, and the field was renamed in 1949 for Alben W. Barkley, the Paducah native who served as Vice President under Harry Truman. Delta, Ozark, American Eagle, and several commuter carriers have flown here over the decades. Today PAH is the only commercial airport in the Jackson Purchase, categorized by the FAA as a nonhub primary commercial service facility, and its scheduled flights are supported through the federal EAS program, which keeps airline service in small communities that would otherwise lose it. The airport marked 80 years of continuous commercial service in April 2026.
Airlines and Destinations
SkyWest Airlines, flying as United Express, is the sole scheduled carrier at PAH. Service began on February 24, 2026, replacing the previous Contour Airlines route to Charlotte. Two daily nonstop jet flights operate year round: an early morning departure to Chicago O'Hare (ORD) with a midday return, and an afternoon departure to Houston George Bush Intercontinental (IAH) with an evening return. Both hubs open connections to hundreds of domestic and international destinations on a single stop, and United's app handles check in and bag tags for the Paducah flights.
Terminal Overview
A new $43 million terminal opened on June 28, 2023, replacing a building that had served since 1953. The 25,100 square foot facility has a single passenger boarding bridge, so travelers board under cover for the first time in the airport's history. Inside you will find free guest wireless internet, complimentary luggage carts near the entry plaza, an ATM by the exit, vending machines on both sides of security, charging tables in the gate area, two family restrooms, two mother's rooms, and a service animal relief area in the secured gate lounge. Hertz and Enterprise counters sit inside the terminal, and local art rotates through the public spaces. A full body scanner was added at the TSA checkpoint in April 2025.
Passenger Traffic
PAH is a small volume airport. FAA records show 13,643 boardings in 2021 and 14,677 in 2022, up from pandemic lows but below the roughly 20,900 enplanements recorded in 2019 when SkyWest flew to Chicago. The 2026 switch to two hub destinations is expected to lift those numbers, and the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet's most recent aviation study credits the airport with supporting 52 jobs and about $7 million in annual economic output for the region.
Parking Overview
Parking is a single surface lot steps from the terminal doors, with no shuttle or garage involved. The first 30 minutes are free, each hour after that is $2, and the daily maximum is $10 for the first week, dropping to $9, $8, and $7 per day for longer stays. The lot is card only; cash is not accepted, and tap to pay works at the exit stations. Rates and the current terminal map are posted on the airport's traveler information page. Kentucky sales tax of 6 percent is added to every parking charge.
Pickup and Drop Off Guidance
The terminal has one curb for both arrivals and departures. Departing passengers are dropped at the entry plaza doors near the United ticket counter. For arrivals, our chauffeur waits inside near baggage claim for sedan and SUV pickups, then walks you to the vehicle at the curb. Larger vehicles stage in the adjacent lot and pull forward once the group is assembled. Because the single lot has a paid gate, we time every pickup to the aircraft's actual arrival so the vehicle rolls up within minutes of your bags appearing.
Ground Transportation at PAH
Beyond rental cars from Hertz and Enterprise, ground options at Barkley Regional are thin. The Paducah Area Transit System offers a shuttle that must be booked 24 hours in advance. Taxis are available on request but are not queued at the curb, and rideshare coverage in West Paducah is sparse, especially for the 5:00 A.M. departure and the 7:20 P.M. Houston arrival. Most travelers who are not renting a car arrange transportation before they fly.
Tips for Arriving Passengers
- Set your watch: PAH runs on Central Time, one hour behind Louisville and Lexington.
- Baggage claim is a single carousel steps from the gate, so bags appear quickly. Have your chauffeur's contact handy before you land.
- Cell coverage in the terminal is reliable, but rural stretches of US Route 60 and the Lakes region can drop signal, so download directions or trust your driver.
- Winter fog along the Ohio River can delay morning flights; our dispatch team monitors the airport's status and adjusts pickups automatically.
- If you are continuing to Southern Illinois, confirm which bridge your driver plans to use, since the Interstate 24 and US Route 45 crossings are both subject to periodic maintenance closures.
Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at PAH?
At a hub airport you can step outside and find a car within minutes. West Paducah is different. The airport sits in open farmland 14 miles from the city, the nearest rideshare drivers are often in Paducah or across the river in Metropolis, and the Houston flight lands at an hour when many of them have logged off. A prebooked chauffeur removes every one of those variables. Your vehicle is confirmed, your price is fixed, your driver is tracking the flight, and the car is at the curb when you walk out. For the predawn Chicago departure, that certainty is the difference between making the flight and watching it leave. Union Limousine chauffeurs also know the plant gates, lodge driveways, and marina roads that confuse map apps across the Jackson Purchase.
How Booking Works?
Reserve online or by phone with your flight number, passenger count, luggage estimate, and destination address. Union Limousine confirms the vehicle class and flat rate in writing, assigns a chauffeur, and sends driver details the evening before travel. Our limo service at PAH includes flight monitoring, 60 minutes of complimentary wait time on commercial arrivals, and 24 hour dispatch support if plans change.
Hourly Charters Around Paducah
Clients who need a vehicle for a full day of plant visits, lake property showings, or wedding weekend logistics can book by the hour with a chauffeur on standby.
What to Have Ready?
- Flight number and date for both arrival and departure
- Number of passengers and checked bags
- Any child seat, accessibility, or oversized gear requests
- Final destination and any planned stops along the route
Flight Monitoring Note
Flight tracking is automatic on every PAH reservation. If your United Express flight is delayed at O'Hare or Houston, the chauffeur's pickup time shifts with it at no extra charge.
