What we offer

Capital City (CXY) Airport Limo Service

Land at CXY and step straight into a waiting car. Our Capital City (CXY) Airport limo service tracks your tail number, meets you at the FBO, and carries you to Harrisburg, Hershey, or York in comfort.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Capital City (CXY) Airport

Capital City Airport sits on the West Shore of the Susquehanna River in Fairview Township, York County, minutes from New Cumberland, Camp Hill, and downtown Harrisburg. It is the region's designated reliever field, which means most arrivals are private jets, corporate turboprops, charter flights, and flight training aircraft. Travelers stepping off a business aircraft at CXY expect the same standard on the ground that they enjoyed in the air. Union Limousine delivers a Pennsylvania airport limo service built around that expectation, with a chauffeur waiting planeside or at the general aviation lobby the moment your wheels touch the runway.

Why Choose Our Capital City Airport Limo Service

Private aviation moves on its own clock. Departure slots shift, tailwinds shorten a leg by twenty minutes, and a client meeting in Harrisburg starts whether the car is there or not. We plan every CXY ride around those realities.

  • Live tail number and flight tracking, so your chauffeur adjusts to early or late arrivals automatically
  • Planeside and FBO lobby meet options at Skyport Aviation, the fixed base operator on the field
  • Licensed, background checked chauffeurs who know Route 15, Interstate 83, and the Harvey Taylor Bridge at every hour
  • Flat rate pricing for airport transfers across Pennsylvania, quoted in writing before you ride
  • Discreet, professional service for executives, government visitors, and touring performers
  • A single point of contact for the whole itinerary, from CXY to the State Capitol and back

Chauffeured Comfort for Executives and Government Visitors

Harrisburg is the seat of state government, and a steady flow of legislators, lobbyists, agency officials, and corporate delegations land at CXY because it puts them ten minutes from the Capitol Complex. Our sedans and SUVs arrive detailed, quiet, and stocked with bottled water and phone chargers. Your chauffeur handles luggage, opens doors, and knows which Front Street entrance to use for the Pennsylvania State Capitol, the Rachel Carson State Office Building, and the Strawberry Square area.

Group Ground Transportation for Charter Flights

When a charter aircraft brings in a sports team, a wedding party, a medical mission, or a company retreat, one vehicle waiting at the ramp keeps everyone together. We stage Sprinter vans, party buses, and charter coaches at the FBO with a driver who has already confirmed the head count, the luggage volume, and the destination, whether that is a hotel in Camp Hill or a resort in Hershey.

CXY Airport Transfers Across Pennsylvania

Because CXY serves an entire region, our Pennsylvania limo service reaches well past York County. The airport sits at the junction of Interstate 83 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike corridor, which makes it a practical arrival point for destinations in every direction.

New Cumberland, Camp Hill, and the West Shore

The airport's home communities host a dense cluster of corporate offices, medical facilities, and hotels along Carlisle Pike and Simpson Ferry Road. Transfers to Lemoyne, Mechanicsburg, Wormleysburg, and Enola typically take under fifteen minutes. We also serve the Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg and the Army Heritage Center in Carlisle, both frequent destinations for defense sector travelers.

Harrisburg, Hershey, and Dauphin County

Cross the Susquehanna and you reach downtown Harrisburg, the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex, Riverfront Park, and Harrisburg University. Continue east on Route 322 for Hersheypark, GIANT Center, and the Hotel Hershey, all under thirty minutes from the CXY ramp. Executives who need to connect with a commercial flight at Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) in Middletown can count on a quick twenty minute link between the two SARAA airports.

York, Lancaster, and Gettysburg

Heading south on Interstate 83 brings you to the City of York, the York Expo Center, WellSpan York Hospital, and the York County Judicial Center. The York County government offices and the Colonial Complex draw both official visitors and history minded tourists, and Explore York lists a full calendar of downtown events that our chauffeurs monitor for traffic planning. Lancaster is under an hour east, and Gettysburg's battlefield and Adams County wineries are a comfortable forty minute ride southwest.

Our Fleet for Capital City Airport Rides

Every vehicle in our lineup is late model, commercially insured, and inspected before each dispatch. Union Limousine matches the vehicle to the aircraft manifest, so a solo executive is never met with a coach and a rugby squad is never squeezed into an SUV.

Sedans and SUVs for Private Jet Arrivals

  • Luxury sedans seat up to 3 passengers and suit executive transfers, government visits, and couples returning from a weekend getaway
  • Premium SUVs seat up to 6 passengers with room for golf bags, sample cases, and ski equipment on Pocono trips

Stretch Limousines for Celebrations

  • Stretch limousines seat up to 20 passengers and are the classic choice for wedding parties landing by charter, milestone birthdays, and prom groups with a CXY arrival

Sprinter Vans and Party Buses for Mid Size Groups

  • Sprinter vans seat up to 14 passengers with high roofs and rear luggage bays, ideal for corporate boards, film crews, and family reunions
  • Party buses seat up to 30 passengers with perimeter seating and sound systems for bachelor and bachelorette weekends, concert runs to Hershey, and brewery tours in York

Charter Buses for Large Delegations

  • Mini charter buses seat up to 35 passengers and serve conference groups, sports teams, and school travel from CXY to hotels across Cumberland County
  • Full size charter buses seat up to 56 passengers with under floor luggage storage, restrooms, and climate control for statewide association meetings and multi day tours

Capital City (CXY) Airport Information

A Brief History of Capital City Airport

Capital City Airport opened in 1938 as York State Airport and served as central Pennsylvania's commercial airport for three decades. Airlines such as TWA, Allegheny, and United flew scheduled service from its runways until traffic moved to the new Harrisburg International Airport in 1969. The Commonwealth transferred both fields to the Susquehanna Area Regional Airport Authority on January 1, 1998, and CXY has since grown into one of the busiest general aviation reliever airports in the state, covering 320 acres with two paved runways.

Airlines and Destinations

There is no scheduled airline service at CXY today. The field serves corporate flight departments, fractional jet operators, air taxi companies, air ambulance providers, and flight schools. Domestic destinations therefore depend entirely on the operator and can include direct trips to Teterboro, Washington Dulles, Chicago Executive, Palm Beach, and any airport a private aircraft can reach. Travelers who need scheduled commercial flights should use Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown, and we run connections between the two fields daily.

Terminal Information

CXY has a single general aviation terminal operated by Skyport Aviation, which occupies restored hangars that date to the airport's early years. The official Capital City Airport site lists the FBO's services, including fueling, crew lounges, a pilot briefing room, catering coordination, and conference space. There are no TSA checkpoints, no ticket counters, and no baggage carousels. Passengers walk from the aircraft to the lobby in a few steps.

Passenger Traffic

The airport records roughly 27,000 aircraft operations a year, close to 75 movements a day, with about 97 based aircraft. Roughly nine in ten movements are general aviation, and the remainder are split between military and air taxi flights. Peak activity clusters on weekday mornings and late afternoons when corporate aircraft arrive and depart around business hours in Harrisburg.

Parking Overview

Short term parking sits directly in front of the FBO at 210 Airport Road, and long term parking for based pilots and crews is available nearby. Because the lot is small and close to the building, our chauffeurs pull up within steps of the lobby door.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

For departures, we drop you at the Skyport Aviation entrance where a line agent can escort you to the aircraft. For arrivals, your chauffeur waits either inside the FBO lobby with a name sign or, when the operator approves ramp access, next to the aircraft stairs so luggage moves directly from the hold to the trunk. Share your tail number and estimated arrival when booking and we handle the coordination with the FBO.

Ground Transportation Options

Public transit does not stop at the airport gate. The nearest fixed bus routes run along Route 15 and through New Cumberland borough. Rideshare drivers rarely stage near the field, so wait times after a late evening landing often exceed twenty minutes. Rental cars can be arranged through the FBO with advance notice. The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation lists CXY among its public use airports and notes the field manager's contact for ground service questions.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Send your tail number and departure airport to us at booking so flight tracking works from wheels up
  • Confirm with your aircraft operator whether ground vehicles are permitted on the ramp
  • Allow extra time during the Pennsylvania Farm Show in January and Hersheypark's summer peak, when Route 322 and Interstate 83 slow considerably
  • Ask your chauffeur about weather routing in winter, since the Susquehanna bridges can ice before surrounding roads

Why a Pre Booked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at CXY?

A taxi dispatched from Harrisburg needs twenty to thirty minutes to reach Fairview Township, and rideshare surge pricing spikes whenever a large event lets out in Hershey or York. A reserved chauffeur is already on site, has your itinerary, and charges a rate that was fixed when you booked. Union Limousine tracks your aircraft, adjusts for diversions, and never cancels a pickup because a driver found a closer fare.

Frequently Asked Questions

Explore our FAQs to learn more about our luxury fleet, professional chauffeurs, airport transfers, reservations, and private transportation services designed for a comfortable and seamless travel experience.

Rates depend on vehicle type, distance, and time of day. A sedan transfer to downtown Harrisburg starts at a modest flat rate, while stretch limousines, Sprinter vans, and coaches are priced by the hour or by route. Every quote is fixed in writing before you travel, with no surge pricing.

Yes. Most of our CXY work involves private and corporate aircraft. Give us the tail number, operator, and origin airport, and we track the flight and coordinate ramp or lobby pickup with Skyport Aviation.

We monitor every inbound aircraft through live flight data. If your jet lands forty minutes early or diverts to Harrisburg International, the chauffeur is rerouted automatically at no added cost.

Sedans for up to 3, SUVs for up to 6, stretch limousines for up to 20, Sprinter vans for up to 14, party buses for up to 30, mini coaches for up to 35, and full size charter buses for up to 56 passengers.

Airport pickups include a complimentary waiting period that begins at your actual landing time. Because we track the aircraft, waiting charges are rare and are always explained before booking.

Absolutely. Downtown Harrisburg is about ten minutes away and Hershey is under thirty. We also serve York, Lancaster, Carlisle, Gettysburg, and any other Pennsylvania destination.

Sedans and SUVs can often be arranged the same day, but we recommend 24 to 48 hours of notice. Group vehicles, wedding transport, and Farm Show week bookings should be reserved one to two weeks ahead.

Yes. Infant, convertible, and booster seats are available on request at no charge. Tell us the ages of the children when booking so the correct seats are installed before pickup.

Your chauffeur waits inside the Skyport Aviation lobby holding a name sign, or planeside on the ramp when your operator grants vehicle access. You receive the chauffeur's name and phone number by text before landing.

Yes. Sprinter vans, party buses, and charter coaches run from the FBO to wedding venues, corporate campuses, and hotels throughout York County, with luggage handling and a single driver for the entire group.
