What we offer

Washington Dulles International (IAD) Airport Limo Service

Embassy delegations, corporate teams, and visiting families count on our Dulles airport limo service for luggage help, child seats on request, and vehicles from sedans up to 56 passenger motorcoaches.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Washington Dulles International (IAD) Airport

Flights into Dulles arrive at every hour of the day, and the ride that follows should feel as composed as the cabin you just left. Our Washington DC airport limo service gives travelers bound for the District a chauffeur waiting inside the Main Terminal, a vehicle already positioned at the curb, and a quoted fare that stays the same whether the Dulles Access Highway is clear or crawling. We serve corporate accounts, embassies, families, and visiting groups who want the trip from Saarinen Circle to downtown Washington handled by people who do it every day.

Union Limousine has carried travelers between IAD and Washington, DC for years, and the service is shaped by the realities of this particular airport: long walks from distant gates, international arrivals that clear customs on their own timetable, and a 26 mile drive that can take 35 minutes at dawn or well over an hour at five in the afternoon. Reserve a sedan for a single executive, an SUV for a family with ski bags, or a coach for a delegation of fifty, and the same standard of care applies to each.

Why Washington, DC Travelers Choose Our Dulles Airport Limo Service?

Dulles sits across the Loudoun and Fairfax county line, far outside the District, so the airport transfer carries real weight. We treat the ride as part of the journey. Our IAD airport car service is dispatched from a Washington, DC base, which means your chauffeur knows the Dulles Toll Road merge at Route 28, the Beltway interchange at Tysons, and the quickest approach to any hotel on Pennsylvania Avenue or in Foggy Bottom.

Flight Tracking and Meet and Greet in the Main Terminal

Every airport reservation includes live flight monitoring, so an early tailwind or a ground stop in Chicago changes your pickup time automatically. For domestic arrivals, your chauffeur waits at the top of the escalators in the baggage claim hall with a name board. For international flights, we station the chauffeur at the exit of the Customs and Border Protection hall on the lower level, where the arrival doors open directly into the public area.

  • Live flight tracking with no charge for airline delays
  • 60 minutes of complimentary wait time on international arrivals and 30 minutes on domestic
  • Luggage assistance from the carousel to the vehicle door
  • Chauffeur name, photo, and license plate sent by text before you land
  • Meet and greet available for unaccompanied minors and senior travelers

Fixed Pricing for the Dulles Access Highway and Toll Road

The fare you see at booking is the fare you pay. Our quotes include tolls on the Dulles Toll Road, gratuity, and fuel, and there is no surge multiplier when a thunderstorm grounds half the evening bank at IAD. Hourly reservations are available for travelers who need the vehicle to wait through a meeting in Tysons or Reston before continuing into Washington, DC.

Our IAD Airport Limo Fleet for Washington, DC

Every vehicle in the Union Limousine fleet is late model, detailed before each airport run, and driven by a chauffeur who has cleared background and driving record checks. Select the size that fits your party and luggage, and we will confirm the exact vehicle on your reservation.

Dulles Airport Limo Routes Across Washington, DC

The District is compact, yet each neighborhood presents its own approach from the west. Our chauffeurs choose between Interstate 66, the George Washington Memorial Parkway, and Constitution Avenue based on live traffic, construction on the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge, and the time of day your flight touches down.

Downtown, Capitol Hill, and the National Mall

Hotels along Pennsylvania Avenue, the federal buildings of the Triangle, and the Senate and House office buildings on Capitol Hill are the most common Dulles drop points for business travelers. Visiting families often ask for a slow pass along the National Mall on the way in, and chauffeurs are happy to route past the Lincoln Memorial and the Washington Monument when the schedule allows.

Georgetown, Foggy Bottom, and the West End

Georgetown University, George Washington University, the Kennedy Center, and the Watergate complex draw a steady flow of IAD arrivals. Narrow streets and one way blocks in Georgetown reward a chauffeur who knows the neighborhood, and our limo service in Washington, DC covers every ward of the city along with Arlington, Alexandria, and Bethesda just across the line.

Transfers Between Dulles, Reagan National, and BWI

Travelers who land at IAD and depart from Reagan National (DCA) or Baltimore/Washington International (BWI) rely on us for the airport to airport leg. The Dulles to DCA run is about 30 miles, while BWI sits roughly 60 miles northeast across the Capital Beltway and the Baltimore Washington Parkway. We also provide airport chauffeur service for private aviation passengers using Signature or Jet Aviation on the general aviation side of Dulles.

Group Arrivals and Delegations at IAD

When a delegation lands on two or three separate flights, we stage vehicles in the Terminal Daily Lot and release each one as the manifest clears. Our Sprinter van service is the usual fit for groups of eight to fourteen, and a coordinator remains in contact with your travel lead throughout the arrival window.

A Brief History and Why IAD Matters

Washington Dulles International opened in November 1962 as the first airport in the United States designed from the ground up for jet aircraft. Eero Saarinen drew the swooping Main Terminal roof, and the building remains a landmark of midcentury architecture. Named for Secretary of State John Foster Dulles, the airport is owned by the federal government and operated by the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority under a long term lease. Today it serves as the primary international gateway for the national capital region and a major transatlantic hub for United Airlines.

Airlines Operating From IAD

Dulles closed 2025 with 46 airlines on the field. United operates the largest hub presence by a wide margin, joined by American, Delta, Alaska, JetBlue, Southwest, Frontier, and Spirit on the domestic side. The international roster includes British Airways, Lufthansa, Air France, KLM, Virgin Atlantic, Icelandair, Aer Lingus, Turkish Airlines, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad, Saudia, Royal Jordanian, Ethiopian, ANA, Korean Air, Air India, Cathay Pacific, Copa, Avianca, Air Canada, and Boliviana de Aviacion, and Air Premia, which launched Seoul service in April 2026.

Domestic Destinations From Dulles

Nonstop domestic service reaches every major hub, including San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth, Atlanta, Houston, Seattle, Boston, Miami, Orlando, Las Vegas, and Phoenix. United fills the schedule with flights to dozens of midsize cities across the Midwest and Northeast, and Contour added regional service in 2025. In total the airport offers over 340 daily departures to 164 destinations.

Terminal Information

All ticketing, security, and baggage claim functions sit in the single Main Terminal. Gates are spread across Concourses A, B, C, and D. Concourse A handles regional and some international flights, Concourse B hosts most international carriers along with several domestic airlines, and Concourses C and D belong to United. The AeroTrain links the Main Terminal with Concourses A, B, and C underground, and Concourse D is reached on foot through Concourse C. The Dulles Metrorail station on the Silver Line opened in late 2022 and connects to the terminal through an enclosed walkway with moving sidewalks.

Passenger Traffic

IAD handled a record 29.01 million passengers in 2025, up 6.4 percent on the prior year, and 10.53 million of them were traveling internationally. IAD accounted for over half of the 53.9 million passengers who moved through the two Airports Authority facilities combined.

Parking Overview

Parking Garages 1 and 2 are connected to the Main Terminal by the pedestrian tunnel and sit closest to the doors. The Terminal Daily Lot offers surface spaces a short walk away, while the Economy Lot on the airport perimeter charges a $20 daily maximum for drive up customers as of May 2026 and runs a free shuttle from Curb 2F around the clock. Valet parking is available at the departures curb, and a free cell phone lot lets drivers wait for a call before approaching the terminal.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

Departing passengers are dropped on the upper level at the door closest to their airline check in zone. Arriving passengers meet prearranged vehicles on the lower level, where the airport requires that only authorized limousine and sedan operators with a confirmed reservation collect passengers at the curb. Taxis load from Doors 1 and 7, and rideshare pickups use a separate designated zone. Our chauffeurs hold a commercial permit from the Airports Authority and will text the exact door number as your flight taxis to the gate.

Ground Transportation Options

Along with prearranged chauffeur service, travelers can choose the Washington Flyer taxi fleet, Metrorail on the Silver Line with transfers to reach downtown, Metrobus routes, rental cars from the consolidated lot, and Uber or Lyft from the rideshare area. A Metrorail trip to Metro Center takes close to an hour with luggage in tow, which is why most business travelers book a car in advance.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

Build in time after you leave the aircraft, since many international gates in Concourse B are a 15 minute walk from the AeroTrain platform. Keep your passport and completed declaration ready, review the Customs and Border Protection arrival guidance before you fly, and enroll in Global Entry or Mobile Passport Control if you visit the United States often. Check that the Dulles Toll Road is included in any transfer quote, and confirm your pickup door by text once you have your bags.

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Outperforms Taxis and Rideshare at Dulles?

At IAD the distance to Washington, DC magnifies every weakness of on demand transport. Rideshare prices climb when several wide body flights land together, drivers decline long trips into the city at the end of a shift, and the walk to the rideshare zone with four suitcases is a chore. A prebooked Union Limousine chauffeur is already inside the terminal when the aircraft door opens, the fare was fixed days earlier, and the vehicle is a clean full size sedan or SUV with room for everything you brought home.
