What we offer

Bradley International (BDL) Airport Sprinter Van Rental

Land at Bradley International (BDL) Airport and ride out in one Sprinter van that carries your party of up to 14 with luggage. Made for Hartford corporate teams, wedding parties, and UConn weekenders.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Rental at Bradley International (BDL) Airport

Bradley International (BDL) Airport Sprinter van rental gives Connecticut travelers a single vehicle that carries up to 14 people and their bags from the Terminal A curb to any address in the state. If your party is flying into Windsor Locks for a Hartford conference, a Farmington wedding, a UConn weekend in Storrs, or a shoreline escape near Mystic, one van keeps everyone together from baggage claim onward. Union Limousine has been placing chauffeured Sprinter vans at New England airports for years, and our Connecticut airport Sprinter van service runs around the clock to match early departures and late arrivals at BDL.

Why Connecticut Groups Choose a Sprinter Van at BDL?

Bradley sits at the junction of Interstate 91 and Route 20 in Windsor Locks, roughly fifteen miles north of downtown Hartford and about twenty five minutes from Springfield, Massachusetts. Groups landing here often have a full day ahead: a board meeting at an insurance headquarters on Asylum Hill, a rehearsal dinner in Glastonbury, or a tailgate at Rentschler Field. A chauffeured Sprinter van removes the guesswork of splitting into three rideshare cars that arrive at different times.

  • Seating for up to 14 passengers with an aisle you can actually walk through
  • Rear cargo space that swallows golf bags, ski equipment, and checked luggage
  • Power outlets, USB ports, and strong climate control for the ride to Hartford, New Haven, or the shoreline
  • Flight tracking so your chauffeur adjusts to delays at BDL automatically
  • One flat quote covering the entire group and every stop on the itinerary
  • Professional chauffeurs who know the Interstate 91 and Interstate 84 corridors in every season

Where We Take Groups From Bradley Airport?

Connecticut is compact, and most destinations sit within ninety minutes of the BDL terminal. Our Connecticut car service handles the full state, and Sprinter van bookings from Bradley most often head to the areas below.

Greater Hartford and the Capitol Region

Downtown Hartford is a quick run south on Interstate 91. Corporate groups ride to the Connecticut Convention Center, the XL Center, Dunkin' Park, and the office towers of Travelers, Aetna, and The Hartford. Families use the van for reunions in West Hartford, Wethersfield, Glastonbury, and Simsbury. Aerospace visitors bound for Pratt & Whitney in East Hartford appreciate a driver who already knows the campus gates.

New Haven, Yale, and the Shoreline

Interstate 91 continues south to New Haven, where Yale University visitors, medical conference attendees at Yale New Haven Hospital, and theater groups heading to the Shubert all fit comfortably in one Sprinter. From there the shoreline opens up toward Guilford, Old Saybrook, and Mystic Seaport, popular stops for family reunions and wedding weekends.

Casinos, UConn, and Eastern Connecticut

Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods draw bachelor parties, corporate incentive trips, and concert crowds who land at Bradley and want a single vehicle for the hour long drive east. UConn families in Storrs book the same way for move in weekends and Husky basketball games, and Litchfield Hills leaf peepers fill Sprinter calendars every October.

Fairfield County and Western Massachusetts

Stamford, Greenwich, Norwalk, and Danbury groups often compare BDL against the New York airports and pick Bradley for shorter security lines and easier curbside access. We also carry groups north to Springfield, Northampton, and the Berkshires when a New England itinerary crosses the state line.

Our Connecticut Fleet for Every Group Size

A Sprinter van is the sweet spot for groups of eight to fourteen, yet Union Limousine keeps the full range ready at Bradley so you can size the vehicle to the party.

  • Sedans (up to 3): executive airport transfers, solo consultants, and couples
  • SUVs (up to 6): families with car seats and luggage, small sales teams
  • Stretch limousines (up to 20): weddings, proms, and anniversary nights on the town
  • Sprinter vans (up to 14): corporate shuttles, wedding party transport, ski and golf trips
  • Party buses (up to 30): bachelor and bachelorette weekends, birthday celebrations, casino runs
  • Mini charter buses (up to 35): campus tours, conference shuttles, and sports teams
  • Full size charter buses (up to 56): company retreats, church groups, and multi day tours

Weddings and formal events often pair a Sprinter for the guests with a stretch car for the couple, and our Connecticut limo service coordinates both from a single reservation. Conference organizers moving large delegations from BDL to a Hartford hotel block usually step up to a charter bus service booking with a coach captain and a dedicated luggage bay.

Bradley International (BDL) Airport Information

History and Importance

The field opened in 1941 as an Army Air Corps base on farmland in Windsor Locks and took its name from Lieutenant Eugene M. Bradley, a pilot killed in a training exercise that year. Commercial flights began after the war, and the airport grew into the second busiest passenger gateway in New England behind Boston Logan. Since 2013 it has been operated by the Connecticut Airport Authority, a quasi public agency that also runs the state's general aviation fields. Airport operations are self funded, and BDL contributes an estimated 3.6 billion dollars a year to the regional economy.

Airlines Operating From BDL

Nine carriers serve Bradley from Terminal A: Aer Lingus, American Airlines, Breeze Airways, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, and United Airlines. Breeze has built one of its largest bases here, and Aer Lingus provides the transatlantic link to Dublin.

Domestic Destinations

Nonstop domestic service reaches Atlanta, Baltimore, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth, Denver, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Houston, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, Nashville, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Pittsburgh, Raleigh Durham, Tampa, Washington DC, and West Palm Beach, along with a long list of Breeze leisure routes to the Carolinas, Ohio, Virginia, and Florida. JetBlue and Frontier also fly to San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Terminal Information

All passenger flights use a single building, Terminal A, split into two concourses. The East Concourse holds gates 1 through 12, home to Aer Lingus, Delta, Frontier, JetBlue, Southwest, and Sun Country. The West Concourse holds gates 20 through 30 for American, Breeze, and United. A single consolidated security checkpoint, expanded in 2026, feeds both concourses, and the Escape Lounge, shops, and dining sit past screening. Baggage claim and the arrivals curb are on the lower level.

Passenger Traffic

Bradley handles well over six million passengers a year and has set several monthly records since 2023 as Breeze and other low fare carriers added routes. Peak periods are Thursday and Friday afternoons, Sunday evenings, school vacation weeks, and the days around UConn home games and Hartford conventions, which is exactly when a confirmed Sprinter reservation pays off.

Parking Overview

Onsite parking is arranged in tiers by distance. The garage connects directly to Terminal A, Express Lot 1 sits a short walk away, Park and Walk Lot 2 is a mid range choice, and Economy Lots 3 and 4 run shuttle buses. Lot B opens as overflow during holidays. During peak travel weeks the garage and express lots frequently fill, which is one reason groups arriving by chauffeured van skip the parking question entirely.

Pickup and Drop Off Guidance

Departing passengers are dropped at the upper level curb outside Terminal A ticketing. Arriving passengers exit baggage claim on the lower level. Commercial limousine and prearranged vehicles stage in the designated limo area outside the lower level, and our chauffeurs meet groups inside baggage claim with a name sign before walking everyone to the van. A free cell phone waiting lot on Schoephoester Road serves private drivers who prefer to wait for a call.

Ground Transportation Options

The Ground Transportation Center opened in 2022 across from Terminal A and houses the rental car counters, a covered walkway, and the taxi and app ride queue. Public transit is provided by CTtransit, whose Bradley Flyer bus runs between Terminal A and Union Station in downtown Hartford about every forty minutes. Local Route 24 links the airport with the Windsor Locks rail station, where Amtrak and CTrail Hartford Line trains connect New Haven, Hartford, and Springfield.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Turn your phone on before the jet bridge; your chauffeur texts the moment the flight shows landed.
  • Meet at baggage claim by your carousel, which is the standard rendezvous point for groups.
  • Keep a photo of the group's luggage count so nothing gets left behind.
  • Winter storms in the Connecticut River valley can slow Interstate 91; your chauffeur monitors road conditions and adjusts the route.
  • Global Entry members can enroll or renew at the onsite enrollment center before heading out.

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Makes Sense at BDL?

Taxis and app rides at Bradley queue at the Ground Transportation Center, and a party of ten needs at least three of them, each with its own surge price and its own driver hunting for the pickup zone. A prebooked Sprinter van waits on a fixed quote, carries every bag in one trip, tracks the inbound flight, and delivers the group to a single door at the same moment. For early morning departures the difference is even sharper, since a confirmed 4:30 AM pickup in Farmington or Avon removes the risk of an empty rideshare map.

How to Book a Sprinter Van at Bradley Airport?

Reservations take a few minutes online or by phone. Share the flight number, passenger count, luggage estimate, and drop off address, and Union Limousine confirms a flat rate with the chauffeur's details sent before the flight. Our Sprinter vans seat up to 14 passengers with luggage stored in a separate rear cargo area. Groups of 15 or more can move to a party bus or mini charter bus on the same reservation.

Your chauffeur waits inside Terminal A baggage claim near your carousel holding a name sign. Once everyone has their bags, the group walks together to the van staged in the limo area outside the lower level.

The drive is about fifteen miles south on Interstate 91 and usually takes 20 to 30 minutes outside rush hour. Evening commutes and UConn game days can add time, which the chauffeur plans around.

Yes. The rear cargo compartment holds golf bags, ski gear, strollers, and full size checked suitcases without taking seats from passengers. Let us know the count when booking so we assign the right configuration.

Every airport pickup is tied to your flight number. The chauffeur watches the inbound status and shifts the pickup time automatically, so a late arrival into Windsor Locks never leaves the group stranded.

Two to three weeks ahead is comfortable for most dates. For move in weekend, homecoming, and Big East basketball games, booking four weeks out protects your preferred pickup time.

Absolutely. Both casinos are about an hour east of Bradley, and a Sprinter van carries the whole party plus luggage in one trip. Return pickups from the casino hotels are easy to add on the same booking.

Forward facing and booster seats can be installed on request at no charge. Tell us the ages and number of children when you reserve so the chauffeur arrives with everything fitted.

Yes. Hourly charters begin with an airport pickup and continue through meetings, venue tours, or a wine trail visit before the return flight. Minimum hours vary by day and season.

Pricing is a flat rate based on distance, time of day, and wait time, quoted before you confirm. The New Haven run is roughly 50 miles, and one van typically comes in well under the combined price of three separate rideshare cars.
