What we offer

LaGuardia (LGA) Airport Chauffeur Service

Land at LaGuardia and walk straight to a waiting chauffeur. Our LGA airport chauffeur service tracks your flight, meets you at baggage claim, and delivers a fixed quote to Midtown Manhattan or Queens.

Private Chauffeur Service to and from LaGuardia (LGA) Airport

Flights into LaGuardia land eight miles from Midtown, which sounds close until you are standing at Terminal B with two bags and a phone full of surge alerts. Our LaGuardia (LGA) Airport Chauffeur Service replaces that scramble with a licensed chauffeur who is already parked, already tracking your flight, and already holding a name sign at the meeting point. As the East Elmhurst anchor of our airport chauffeur service in New York, the LGA operation runs around the clock for arrivals, departures, and airport to airport connections across all five boroughs.

Union Limousine has run cars to LaGuardia since 1997, through every phase of the $8 billion rebuild that replaced the old Central Terminal Building with the Terminal B that now tops passenger surveys. That experience matters at an airport where pickup rules shifted with each construction stage. Our chauffeurs know the garage level pickup at Terminal B, the arrivals curb at Terminal C, and the quiet loop outside the Marine Air Terminal on the west end, so the car is positioned before you reach baggage claim.

Why Book a Chauffeur for LaGuardia Airport?

A LaGuardia pickup is a timing exercise. Delta banks arrivals at Terminal C in waves, American and JetBlue do the same at Terminal B, and the taxi line outside either building can stretch past 30 minutes on a Sunday evening. Our chauffeur service removes the wait with a reservation built around your flight number.

  • Flight tracking on every reservation, so a delayed arrival from Chicago or an early landing from Boston moves your pickup time automatically.
  • Meet and greet inside the terminal with a name sign, luggage help, and a short walk to the vehicle.
  • Fixed quotes that include the chauffeur, tolls, and airport fees, confirmed in writing before the trip.
  • Chauffeurs licensed by the NYC Taxi and Limousine Commission, with commercial insurance on every vehicle.
  • 24 hour dispatch for red eye arrivals and 5 a.m. departures.
  • Child seats, extra luggage capacity, and accessibility requests handled at the time of booking.

LGA Chauffeur Fleet Sized for Every Trip

Every reservation is matched to the passenger count and luggage load you give us, drawn from the same fleet Union Limousine runs for its wider limousine services across the metro area.

Sedans, SUVs, and Stretch Limousines

  • Sedans, up to 3 passengers: executive arrivals, solo consultants, and couples with two or three checked bags heading to a Midtown hotel.
  • SUVs, up to 6 passengers: families with car seats, ski trips with gear, and small teams who want room to work on the ride.
  • Stretch limousines, up to 20 passengers: wedding parties landing for a Queens or Manhattan ceremony, bachelorette weekends, and milestone birthday arrivals.

Sprinter Vans, Party Buses, and Charter Buses

  • Sprinter vans, up to 14 passengers: corporate delegations, youth sports teams, and family reunions arriving on one flight.
  • Party buses, up to 30 passengers: groups landing at LGA and heading straight to a Citi Field game, a Broadway night, or a rooftop celebration.
  • Mini charter buses, up to 35 passengers: conference attendees, campus tours, and church groups on a shared itinerary.
  • Full size charter buses, up to 56 passengers: large conference blocks, incentive trips, and cruise groups bound for the Manhattan Cruise Terminal or the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal.

LaGuardia Chauffeur Coverage Across New York, NY

Queens Neighborhoods Around LGA

LaGuardia sits inside East Elmhurst on the Flushing Bay shoreline, which puts Jackson Heights, Astoria, Woodside, Corona, and Long Island City within a 10 to 20 minute ride. Production crews arriving for shoots at Kaufman Astoria Studios often ask for a stop at the Museum of the Moving Image, which shares the studio campus on 35th Avenue. Flushing, Forest Hills, Bayside, and Kew Gardens follow along the Grand Central Parkway and the Van Wyck Expressway. Our chauffeur service in Queens covers every one of these neighborhoods with local drivers who know which side streets clear faster when the parkway backs up near 94th Street.

Manhattan, Brooklyn, the Bronx, and Beyond

Midtown Manhattan is the most requested destination from LGA, with Grand Central Terminal, Penn Station, the Javits Center, and the Times Square hotel district all reached in 25 to 45 minutes by the Grand Central Parkway and either the Ed Koch Queensboro Bridge or the RFK Bridge. Upper East Side and Upper West Side addresses use the RFK crossing, and Lower Manhattan and the Financial District run through the Queens Midtown Tunnel or over the Williamsburg Bridge. Brooklyn rides reach Williamsburg, Downtown Brooklyn, Park Slope, and the Brooklyn Cruise Terminal in Red Hook by the BQE. The Bronx, including Yankee Stadium and Riverdale, is a short RFK Bridge hop, and our chauffeur service in New York extends to White Plains, Scarsdale, Great Neck, Garden City, Greenwich, Stamford, Hoboken, and Jersey City on request.

Venues and Events Near LaGuardia

Flushing Meadows Corona Park lies directly across the bay, so Citi Field, the Queens Museum, the New York Hall of Science, and the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center are all under 15 minutes from any LGA terminal by the Grand Central Parkway, with Exit 9E leading to the tennis center lots. During the US Open in late August and early September, black car drop zones move to the area beside the New York State Pavilion, and our chauffeurs plan for that shift before match day. Mets home games, the Queens Night Market, and performances at Queens Theatre create their own traffic pulses that we build into pickup times.

Connections to JFK, Newark, and Regional Airports

Airport to airport transfers are a daily routine for our LGA team. JFK is 30 to 45 minutes away by the Van Wyck Expressway, Newark Liberty runs 45 to 75 minutes through the Lincoln Tunnel or over the George Washington Bridge, and Westchester County Airport in Purchase sits about 40 minutes north by the Hutchinson River Parkway. Teterboro, Long Island MacArthur, and New York Stewart are also on the schedule, and travelers who want a simpler point to point ride can pair this page with our LaGuardia Airport car service for standard sedan transfers.

LaGuardia (LGA) Airport Information

The details below reflect the airport as it operates in 2026, after completion of the terminal and roadway rebuild.

  • Airport name: LaGuardia (LGA) Airport
  • Airport code: LGA
  • Address: East Elmhurst, NY 11371, United States

History and Importance

LaGuardia opened on December 2, 1939 as New York Municipal Airport and took the name of Mayor Fiorello La Guardia, who pushed the project after refusing to leave a flight that landed in Newark when his ticket said New York. The City of New York owns the field, and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey has operated it since 1947. Decades of cramped terminals earned LGA a poor reputation until the $8 billion redevelopment delivered a rebuilt Terminal B, a new Delta Terminal C in June 2022, and an all new roadway network by January 2025. The turnaround is now measured in awards: in February 2026 LaGuardia was named North America's best airport in the 25 to 40 million passenger class for the third year in a row, and Terminal B holds a five star Skytrax rating.

Airlines Operating from LGA

Eight passenger airlines serve LaGuardia in 2026. Terminal B hosts Air Canada, American Airlines, Frontier, JetBlue, Porter, Southwest, and United, with Southwest boarding from gates 53 to 57. Terminal C belongs entirely to Delta Air Lines, which treats LGA as a core hub alongside its JFK operation. American also runs a hub here, so Terminal B sees heavy banks of regional jets to the Northeast and Midwest throughout the day.

Domestic Destinations

LaGuardia is a domestic airport by design. A perimeter rule keeps most nonstop routes within about 1,500 miles, with Denver as the long standing exception and Saturday flights permitted to reach farther west. The result is a network of roughly 90 destinations led by Chicago O'Hare and Midway, Atlanta, Boston, Washington Reagan, Charlotte, Dallas Fort Worth, Miami, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Nashville, Detroit, Minneapolis, and Denver. Air Canada and Porter add Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa, which arrive as domestic flights thanks to Canadian preclearance, so there is no customs hall at LGA.

Terminal Information

Three terminals line the south side of the two 7,002 foot runways. A free All Terminals Shuttle links them on the landside, and there is no airside connection between Terminal B and Terminal C.

Terminal A (Marine Air Terminal)

The 1940 art deco rotunda on the west end, built for the Pan Am flying boats, now serves private and general aviation through Modern Aviation. The Port Authority announced in late 2025 that the passenger facilities here will be replaced under its 2026 to 2035 capital plan, with the historic rotunda preserved.

Terminal B

The largest building at LGA, Terminal B covers about 1.3 million square feet across four levels, with 35 gates on two island concourses reached by pedestrian bridges. Ticketing and security sit on Level 3, baggage claim is on Level 2, and the attached garage connects by walkway, which is where private car pickups are staged.

Terminal C

The Delta terminal opened in June 2022 and folded the old Terminals C and D into one 37 gate building with a single security checkpoint and a Delta Sky Club on the upper level. Baggage claim is on Level 1, and a new 2,800 space garage across the roadway opened in January 2026.

Passenger Traffic

LGA handled 32.8 million passengers in 2025, its second busiest year ever after the 33.5 million record set in 2024, and logged its busiest August on record with three million travelers in a single month. Aircraft operations ran near 355,000 for the year, and the 1.2 million passengers who moved through the terminals over the 2025 year end holiday period marked a four percent rise over the prior year.

Parking Overview

On airport parking is priced for short stays. The Terminal B Garage charges $5 for the first 30 minutes and $10 for each additional half hour up to an $80 daily maximum, which drops to about $55 a day when prebooked. The Terminal C Garage runs $6 and $12 in the same increments with an $89 cap, or about $60 prebooked. Economy Lot 3 costs $39 a day at the gate and closer to $29 when reserved online, with a shuttle to every terminal. Spaces can be reserved through the airport's parking portal, and the Port Authority urges prebooking before holiday weekends because the garages fill.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

Terminal curbs are for active loading only, and unattended vehicles are towed. The airport's official pickup and drop off guidance tells private drivers to wait in the free Cell Phone Lot until the passenger is standing at the curb with bags in hand.

Meeting Your Chauffeur

Terminal B Garage Pickup

For Terminal B arrivals, your chauffeur waits at baggage claim on Level 2 with a name sign, then walks you across the pedestrian bridge to the vehicle staged in the garage pickup area, a covered walk of about three minutes with no curbside jostling.

Terminal C Curbside Pickup

Delta arrivals at Terminal C meet the chauffeur inside baggage claim on Level 1, and the vehicle pulls to the designated commercial pickup lane on the arrivals roadway once you step outside.

Cell Phone Lot Rules for Private Vehicles

The free Cell Phone Lot on 94th Street between 23rd Avenue and Ditmars Boulevard is open 7 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. daily and is intended for friends and family in private cars. Commercial vehicles stage elsewhere, which is one reason a prebooked chauffeur avoids the circling that trips up first time visitors.

Ground Transportation Options

LaGuardia has no rail link, so every trip into Manhattan uses the road. Licensed yellow taxis line up outside each terminal on a metered fare, Uber and Lyft pickups are directed to marked zones that at Terminal B sit inside the garage, and the free Q70 LaGuardia Link bus connects Terminals B and C to the 7, E, F, M, and R trains at Jackson Heights Roosevelt Avenue and to the LIRR at Woodside. The M60 Select Bus reaches Harlem and Upper Manhattan, rental car counters sit off airport with courtesy shuttles, and hotel shuttles serve the properties along Ditmars Boulevard and the Grand Central Parkway service roads.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Confirm your terminal before landing: Delta means Terminal C, and every other scheduled airline means Terminal B.
  • Baggage claim is on Level 2 at Terminal B and Level 1 at Terminal C; text your chauffeur when the first bag appears on the belt.
  • Allow 45 to 60 minutes for any connection between terminals, since the shuttle runs landside and you will clear security again.
  • Curbside check in is offered by American and Southwest at Terminal B and by Delta at Terminal C on departure day.
  • Evening arrivals between 6 p.m. and 9 p.m. meet the longest taxi lines; a reserved car skips the queue.
  • Keep your flight number handy for the booking, since it drives the automatic tracking that adjusts your pickup time.

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Is Often the Easier Choice at LGA?

Surge pricing at LaGuardia peaks exactly when demand does: Sunday nights, holiday weekends, and any evening a Delta bank lands late. A prebooked chauffeur locks the quote before the plane leaves its origin city, and the meet and greet removes the phone tag of finding a rideshare driver in a garage lane. Taxis are dependable but metered, they cannot be reserved in advance, and a family of five with luggage will not fit in most of them. Union Limousine also handles the paperwork side: commercial insurance, TLC licensing, and a dispatcher who answers at 2 a.m. when a flight diverts to JFK and the whole plan changes.

Same day bookings are accepted when vehicles are available, but 24 hours of notice secures your preferred vehicle class. Sprinter vans and buses for groups should be reserved a week ahead during holiday periods.

Every reservation is tied to your flight number. Delays, early arrivals, and gate changes update the pickup time automatically, and the dispatcher confirms the chauffeur's position by text before you land.

Plan on 25 to 45 minutes depending on the hour. Weekday afternoons and Sunday evenings run longer on the Grand Central Parkway, while early morning departures often make the trip in under half an hour.
