What we offer

Chandler Municipal (CHD) Airport Limo Service

Flight school families, corporate teams and event groups all use our Chandler Municipal (CHD) Airport Limo Service for sedans through 56 seat coaches, with flat Arizona rates and 24 hour dispatch aid.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Chandler Municipal (CHD) Airport

Chandler Municipal (CHD) Airport sits on the southeast edge of the Valley, three miles from downtown Chandler and a short drive from the Loop 202 at Gilbert Road. Private jets, King Air turboprops, training aircraft and air ambulance flights move through the field every hour the tower is open, and most of the people stepping off those aircraft expect a car to already be waiting. Our Chandler Municipal (CHD) Airport limo service meets you at the Stinson Way terminal or on your FBO ramp with a chauffeur who knows your tail number and your arrival time. This page is the Chandler chapter of our Arizona airport limo service, and it covers the fleet, the pickup routine, the pricing logic and what the field looks like on the ground.

Why Choose Union Limousine at Chandler Municipal Airport?

Union Limousine has provided chauffeured ground transportation since 1997, and our Chandler operation brings that same discipline to a general aviation field where schedules shift by the minute. We follow your flight through the FBO, adjust when a charter lands early, and stage the vehicle ramp side whenever the operator permits it. Corporate travelers bound for the Price Road corridor, families collecting a student pilot on checkride day, and medical crews stepping off a Citation all receive the same quiet, punctual service.

  • Flight tracking for private, charter and air taxi arrivals at CHD, with chauffeurs who understand tower hours and ramp access rules
  • Licensed, insured and background checked chauffeurs who know Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe and every Loop 202 interchange
  • Flat quotes to Phoenix, Scottsdale, Tucson and each community in between, confirmed in writing before the wheels turn
  • Child seats, extra luggage capacity and wheelchair friendly vehicles arranged at the time of booking
  • Dispatch staffed around the clock for repositioning flights that land at the 6 a.m. tower opening

Who Uses Our CHD Limo Service?

Three kinds of passengers account for most of the traffic at Chandler Municipal. The first is the business flyer: Intel's Ocotillo campus, where Fab 52 and Fab 62 were built as part of a $20 billion expansion, sits a few minutes from the airport, and Microchip Technology, Northrop Grumman and dozens of Price Road employers keep executives moving through CHD on fractional and charter jets. The second is flight training: Chandler Air Service, Quantum Helicopters, Tailwind Flight Centre and Wings 270 bring students and visiting families from across the country for lessons, checkrides and graduations. The third is event travel, from Ostrich Festival weekends to Cactus League spring training, and that is where our larger vehicles earn their keep.

Our Fleet for Chandler Municipal Airport Transfers

Every vehicle below is kept at the same standard: detailed interiors, cold water on board, and a chauffeur who has already reviewed your itinerary before the aircraft is on final. Choose by passenger count and luggage, and we will match the right vehicle to your Chandler arrival.

Sedans (Up to 3 Passengers)

Executive sedans suit the single traveler or a pair of colleagues stepping off a light jet with carry on luggage. They are the quickest vehicle to load at the CHD terminal curb and the most discreet option for a Price Road meeting.

  • Executive transfers between CHD and Intel, Microchip or the Chandler Innovations incubator
  • Quiet rides to hotels in downtown Chandler, Tempe or Scottsdale
  • Repositioning runs between CHD and Sky Harbor for connecting commercial flights

SUVs (Up to 6 Passengers)

Full size SUVs carry up to six passengers with golf bags, flight cases or a weekend of luggage. Families collecting a student pilot and small leadership teams find them the most flexible choice at Chandler.

  • Family pickups on checkride and graduation days at the CHD flight schools
  • Golf trips to Ocotillo, Bear Creek or the Wild Horse Pass courses
  • Small group transfers to Mesa, Gilbert and Queen Creek

Stretch Limousines (Up to 20 Passengers)

Stretch limousines fit celebrations that begin the moment the cabin door opens. They are a common sight at Chandler Municipal on wedding weekends and for milestone birthdays flown in by private charter.

  • Wedding parties arriving for ceremonies at Wild Horse Pass or Ocotillo
  • Anniversary and birthday arrivals with champagne service on request
  • Prom and graduation nights that start with a ramp side pickup

Sprinter Vans (Up to 14 Passengers)

Mercedes Sprinter vans offer standing headroom, individual seating and generous luggage bays. They are the workhorse for corporate groups and sports teams flying into CHD together.

  • Executive teams traveling as a unit to the Price Road corridor
  • Youth sports squads heading to Tumbleweed Park or Snedigar Sportsplex
  • Airport shuttles for conference attendees staying near Chandler Fashion Center

Party Buses (Up to 30 Passengers)

Party buses bring perimeter seating, sound systems and lighting to larger celebrations. Groups that land at Chandler for a bachelorette weekend, a casino night or a concert run often choose one.

  • Casino evenings at Lone Butte or Wild Horse Pass
  • Concert transfers to Chandler Center for the Arts or Tempe venues
  • Bachelor and bachelorette weekends in Old Town Scottsdale

Mini Charter Buses (Up to 35 Passengers)

Mini charter buses give mid sized groups reclining seats, climate control and under floor luggage storage. They are ideal when a company flies a department into CHD on one aircraft and needs everyone to arrive at the venue together.

  • Corporate retreats and training sessions in Chandler, Gilbert and Tempe
  • School and youth group arrivals for competitions and field trips
  • Wedding guest shuttles between CHD, hotels and the reception venue

Full Size Charter Buses (Up to 56 Passengers)

Full size motorcoaches handle the largest groups with restrooms, reclining seats and room for every bag. They suit multi day tours, convention delegations and sports organizations that use Chandler as their Arizona gateway.

  • Convention delegations transferring to the Phoenix Convention Center
  • Spring training tour groups covering Mesa, Scottsdale and Tempe ballparks
  • Multi day Arizona tours leaving from CHD for Sedona, Tucson or the Grand Canyon

Limo Service Across Arizona From Chandler Municipal Airport

Chandler is a convenient starting point for almost any destination in the state. Loop 202 feeds directly into Interstate 10, which puts Tucson about 100 miles to the southeast and central Phoenix about 25 miles to the northwest. Our limo service in Arizona runs the same chauffeurs and vehicles on every one of those routes, so a trip booked at CHD can continue to Sedona, Flagstaff or the Grand Canyon without a change of car.

Communities We Serve Near CHD

Chandler itself is the fourth largest city in Arizona, and the airport sits in its southern half close to the Ocotillo, Sun Lakes and Fulton Ranch neighborhoods. Gilbert borders the field to the east, with the Heritage District, Gilbert Regional Park and the Agritopia farm community all within a fifteen minute drive. Queen Creek and San Tan Valley lie further southeast, while Tempe, Ahwatukee and the Gila River Indian Community are each a short run up the freeway. We also serve Mesa, Maricopa and Casa Grande from CHD on a regular basis.

Venues and Attractions Around Chandler

Tumbleweed Park, the largest park in Chandler, hosts the Ostrich Festival every spring and is home to the Arizona Railway Museum, where a 1906 Southern Pacific steam locomotive listed on the National Register of Historic Places stands beside restored passenger cars you can walk through. Downtown Chandler offers the Chandler Center for the Arts, the Chandler Museum and a restaurant row along Arizona Avenue. Shoppers head to Chandler Fashion Center and the Phoenix Premium Outlets, while Rawhide Western Town, Lone Butte Casino and Wild Horse Pass sit just across the community line to the west. Our chauffeurs know the loading zones at each of these venues and plan the route around event traffic.

Nearby Airports We Also Cover

Mesa Gateway lies eight nautical miles east of Chandler, and many of our clients combine a commercial arrival there with a private departure from CHD. Our Mesa Gateway airport limo service uses the same dispatch team, so moving between the two fields on one booking is simple. Falcon Field in Mesa is twelve nautical miles north, Phoenix Sky Harbor is fourteen nautical miles northwest, and Casa Grande Municipal is nineteen nautical miles south. For short hops in an executive sedan or SUV, our CHD airport car service covers the same pickups at a lower price point.

Sprinter Vans for Group Transfers Statewide

When a group of ten to fourteen lands at Chandler and needs to continue to Tucson, Prescott or a resort in Sedona, a Sprinter van is usually the most comfortable answer. Our Sprinter van service in Arizona is available on the same booking as your CHD pickup, with luggage trailers available for ski and golf equipment.

Chandler Municipal (CHD) Airport Information

Chandler Municipal is a general aviation airport, which means there are no airline counters, no security checkpoint and no gates in the commercial sense. Knowing how the field works makes your arrival smoother, so here is the picture in full.

At a Glance

Chandler Municipal (CHD) Airport is located at 2380 S Stinson Way, Chandler, AZ 85286, United States. The airport office can be reached at +1 480 782 3540, and the city publishes tenant and visitor information on the official Chandler Municipal Airport page. The FAA identifier is CHD, the ICAO code is KCHD, and the field is owned and operated by the City of Chandler.

History and Importance of the Airport

Chandler Municipal grew from a modest city landing field into one of the busiest general aviation reliever airports in the country. The City of Chandler owns the field, operates one of the busiest contract control towers in the nation, and has spent decades adding hangars, tie down aprons, a helipad and modern lighting. A November 2024 council briefing ranked CHD as the seventeenth busiest general aviation airport in the United States, and the field anchors Chandler Airpark, the second largest employment corridor in the city. The airport supports about 569 jobs, generates roughly $150 million in annual economic output and returns about $2.5 million a year in state and local taxes. Beyond business flying, CHD houses police aviation, medical evacuation flights, organ transport, search and rescue and the Civil Air Patrol. The city is now evaluating an extension of Runway 4R/22L from 4,870 feet to 5,550 feet so that the jets already based at Chandler can depart with full fuel and passengers during the hottest summer afternoons.

Airlines and Operators at CHD

No scheduled airline serves Chandler Municipal, and the city master plan rules out airline service for the future. Traffic comes from charter and air taxi operators flying Citations, Phenoms and King Airs, from fractional ownership programs, and from a large flight training community. Chandler Air Service runs the fixed base operation on the field, and Quantum Helicopters, Tailwind Flight Centre and Wings 270 operate training programs that fill the pattern most mornings. Aircraft maintenance, avionics, sales and rental businesses round out the airpark, and the Hangar Cafe gives arriving passengers a place to wait with a view of the runways.

Domestic Destinations

Because CHD traffic is private, the destinations are whatever the passenger requests. Common city pairs include Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles, Denver, Dallas, Albuquerque and Salt Lake City, all within comfortable range of the light and midsize jets that use the field. Shorter turboprop hops to Tucson, Flagstaff, Prescott, Yuma and Lake Havasu are also frequent, as are training cross country flights to airports throughout the Southwest.

Terminal Information

The city terminal on Stinson Way is a single story building with a lobby, restrooms, a pilot briefing area and airport administration offices. The terminal is open Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on weekends from 5 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., except holidays, while the administration office keeps hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays. The control tower operates daily from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. Passengers arriving on charter aircraft are usually met at the FBO, so confirm with your operator which building your flight will use.

Passenger and Flight Traffic

Federal records for the twelve months ending December 31, 2023 show an average of 640 aircraft operations a day at Chandler, about 65 percent of them local general aviation, 26 percent transient general aviation and 9 percent air taxi. That works out to roughly 233,000 takeoffs and landings a year. The FAA counted 465 based aircraft in 2024, including 399 single engine airplanes, 33 multi engine airplanes, 10 jets and 21 helicopters. The city estimates that the airport draws about 58,600 out of state visitors each year who spend roughly $11.5 million in the region.

Parking Overview

Parking at Chandler Municipal is free. A surface lot sits directly in front of the terminal building with spaces for visitors, pilots and tenants, and the FBOs maintain their own customer lots. There is no parking garage, no shuttle lot and no hourly meter, which keeps drop offs simple but means the lot can fill on busy training weekends and during fly in events.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

Private vehicles use the terminal lot on Stinson Way for curbside loading. For charter arrivals, your operator will direct passengers to a specific FBO or hangar, and our chauffeur will coordinate with that office to meet you at the door or, where permitted, on the ramp. Because there is no commercial arrivals hall, we ask every client to share the aircraft tail number and operator name at booking so the chauffeur can track the flight on the FBO's system and be in position before touchdown.

Ground Transportation Options

Ground transportation at CHD is limited compared with Sky Harbor. Avis keeps a rental counter on the field, and Valley Metro bus routes run along Gilbert Road, a short distance from the terminal. Taxis and rideshare drivers rarely stage at the airport and typically need twenty to thirty minutes to arrive from the main part of Chandler. Pre booked chauffeured service is the only option that guarantees a vehicle at the building when your aircraft stops.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Share your tail number and FBO name so your chauffeur can track the aircraft and stand by at the correct building
  • Expect summer afternoon temperatures above 110 degrees; our vehicles are pre cooled before you step outside
  • During monsoon season from July through September, build in extra time for dust storms and flash flooding on Loop 202
  • Chandler Boulevard and Gilbert Road carry heavy school and commuter traffic from 7 to 9 a.m. and 3:30 to 6 p.m.
  • Cellular service is strong across the airpark, so a quick text to dispatch on landing confirms your curb location
  • The Hangar Cafe is a good place to wait if your chauffeur is held up by an early arrival

Why Pre Booking a Chauffeur Makes Sense at CHD?

A general aviation airport rewards planning. Taxis and rideshare drivers follow demand, and the demand at a quiet field like Chandler is unpredictable, so wait times stretch and cancellations are common. A pre booked chauffeur is already assigned, already tracking your aircraft and already parked at the right door when the cabin opens. The fare is fixed in advance, luggage and child seats are handled, and the vehicle you reserved is the vehicle that arrives. For business travelers, families and medical passengers, that certainty is the whole point of flying private in the first place.

Chandler Municipal is a general aviation airport with no scheduled airline service. Traffic consists of private jets, charters, air taxis, helicopters and flight training aircraft, and the city master plan rules out airline service.

For charter arrivals, your chauffeur waits at the FBO or hangar your operator designates, and on the ramp when the operator allows it. For private vehicles, the meeting point is the curb in front of the city terminal on Stinson Way.

The trip is about 25 miles via Loop 202 and Interstate 10 or State Route 143. Outside rush hour it takes around 30 minutes; during the 7 to 9 a.m. and 3:30 to 6 p.m. commute windows, allow 45 to 55 minutes.

Yes. We regularly collect students, instructors and visiting families at Chandler Air Service, Quantum Helicopters, Tailwind Flight Centre and Wings 270, including early morning checkride days and graduation weekends.

We do. Provide the tail number and operator at booking, and our dispatch team follows the flight through the FBO's tracking system, adjusting the chauffeur's arrival if the aircraft lands early or late.

A stretch limousine seats up to 20 guests for the celebration itself, while a Sprinter van or mini charter bus handles luggage heavy transfers to the venue. Many couples book both so the wedding party and the guests arrive together.

No. Because we track the aircraft, the chauffeur adjusts to the actual arrival time. Waiting charges apply only when passengers delay departure well beyond the scheduled pickup for reasons unrelated to the flight.

Yes. Casa Grande is about 35 miles south on Interstate 10 and takes roughly 40 minutes, while Tucson is about 100 miles and takes around 90 minutes. Both are quoted as flat rate transfers.

Every vehicle is pre cooled before pickup, stocked with cold water and maintained on a desert specific schedule for tires, batteries and air conditioning. Chauffeurs also load luggage so passengers spend minimal time on the ramp.

For sedans and SUVs, 24 hours ahead is usually enough. Stretch limousines, party buses and charter buses should be reserved one to two weeks in advance, and spring training or Ostrich Festival weekends book out even earlier.
