What we offer

Pittsburgh International (PIT) Airport Sprinter Van Rental

Corporate teams, wedding guests, and sports squads landing at Pittsburgh International ride in one spacious Sprinter van with flight tracking, flat pricing, and a chauffeur who knows the new terminal.

Mercedes-Benz Sprinter Van Rental at Pittsburgh International (PIT) Airport

Landing at Pittsburgh International Airport with a crowd of colleagues, cousins, or teammates raises one question before the bags even hit the carousel: how does everyone get to the same place at the same time? Our Pittsburgh International (PIT) Airport Sprinter van rental answers that with a single fourteen passenger vehicle, a professional chauffeur, and a pickup that is timed to your actual arrival. As part of our Pennsylvania airport Sprinter van rental network, the PIT service covers Moon Township, Downtown Pittsburgh, the North Shore, Oakland, Cranberry Township, and every county in Western Pennsylvania where your group needs to be.

The new PIT terminal that opened in November 2025 changed how groups move through the airport. Departures and arrivals now sit on separate levels, the old underground tram is gone, and the curb is wider and easier to read. Union Limousine dispatchers know the new layout well, so your chauffeur meets you at the correct door and loads luggage without circling the terminal road.

Group Travel Made Simple at Pittsburgh International Airport

Splitting a party into four rideshares means four different pickup spots, four separate fares, and four chances for someone to end up in Robinson Township when the rest of the group is already in the Strip District. A Sprinter van keeps everyone together with room to stretch, a place for every suitcase, and a driver who already knows the route down Interstate 376 through the Fort Pitt Tunnel.

Why Pennsylvania Groups Choose a Sprinter Van at PIT?

  • Fourteen forward facing seats with high roof standing room for easy boarding
  • Rear luggage bay sized for golf bags, ski equipment, trade show cases, and checked suitcases
  • Climate control, USB charging, and tinted privacy glass for the ride into the city
  • Flight monitoring so pickup time shifts automatically with delays or early landings
  • One flat quote covering tolls, wait time, and gratuity guidance with no surge pricing
  • Chauffeurs licensed for commercial passenger transport across Pennsylvania

Sprinter Van Rental Services at PIT

Every reservation is built around the group, the schedule, and the destination. These are the trips Pennsylvania clients book most often from the PIT curb.

Corporate Shuttles for Pittsburgh Business Travel

Technology firms in Bakery Square, healthcare systems in Oakland, and energy companies along the Parkway West bring visiting teams through PIT every week. A Sprinter van carries the whole delegation to a single hotel or office, and our Pittsburgh Airport car service handles executives who arrive separately and need a sedan. Both bookings can be coordinated under one account with consolidated invoicing.

Wedding Parties and Family Reunions

Out of town guests flying into Pittsburgh for a wedding at the Pennsylvanian, Heinz Chapel, or a farm venue in Washington County appreciate a van waiting at arrivals. We can run multiple pickups across the day as flights land, then shuttle guests between the hotel block and the venue over the weekend. Larger parties can pair the Sprinter with a stretch limousine for the couple through our Pittsburgh Airport limo service.

Sports Teams, Tours, and University Groups

Visiting teams heading to Acrisure Stadium, PNC Park, or PPG Paints Arena travel with equipment that never fits in a taxi trunk. Recruiting visits for the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, and Duquesne, alumni weekends, and guided tours of Fallingwater or the Laurel Highlands all fit the Sprinter format. For local departures that start inside the city, our Allegheny County car service covers pickups from any neighborhood.

Cruise Connections and Multi City Itineraries

Pennsylvania travelers sometimes route through Pittsburgh on the way to a cruise departure or a second event on the eastern side of the state. We can arrange a Sprinter at PIT and a matching vehicle through our Philadelphia Airport Sprinter van rental so the group experiences the same standard at both ends of the trip.

Our Full Fleet for Pennsylvania Travelers

The Sprinter van is the most requested vehicle for PIT groups. The right choice still depends on headcount, luggage, and occasion. Every vehicle below is available for airport transfers, hourly charters, and multi day itineraries anywhere in the Commonwealth.

  • Sedans (up to 3 passengers): executive arrivals, solo travelers, and couples heading to Downtown hotels
  • SUVs (up to 6 passengers): families with car seats, small teams with extra luggage, and winter trips to Seven Springs
  • Stretch limousines (up to 20 passengers): weddings, proms, anniversaries, and milestone celebrations
  • Sprinter vans (up to 14 passengers): corporate shuttles, wedding guests, sports teams, and tour groups
  • Party buses (up to 30 passengers): bachelor and bachelorette weekends, brewery tours, and concert nights
  • Mini charter buses (up to 35 passengers): conference delegations, school trips, and church groups
  • Full size charter buses (up to 56 passengers): conventions, large reunions, and statewide tours

Matching the Vehicle to the Group

When the Sprinter Van Is the Right Call

Groups of eight to fourteen with checked luggage land squarely in Sprinter territory. Two SUVs would split the party and cost close to the same amount, and a mini bus would leave half the seats empty. The Sprinter also clears most hotel porte cocheres and residential driveways in Sewickley, Fox Chapel, and Mt. Lebanon, which the larger coaches cannot always manage.

Service Area Across Pennsylvania

PIT sits in Findlay and Moon Townships, roughly seventeen miles west of Downtown Pittsburgh. From that spot, our chauffeurs serve the entire Pittsburgh metro and continue across the state on request.

Pittsburgh City Destinations

Downtown Pittsburgh, the Cultural District, the Strip District, Lawrenceville, Shadyside, Squirrel Hill, and the South Side are the most common drop points. Convention travelers head to the David L. Lawrence Convention Center on the Allegheny riverfront, and event planners can check street closures and parking notices through the City of Pittsburgh before scheduling a curbside drop on Penn Avenue.

Suburban and Regional Pickups

Cranberry Township, Wexford, Monroeville, Bethel Park, Canonsburg, Beaver, and Butler are all regular Sprinter destinations. Longer runs reach State College, Erie, Johnstown, Harrisburg, and the Laurel Highlands resorts at Nemacolin and Seven Springs. We also coordinate transfers with Allegheny County Airport (AGC) in West Mifflin for private aviation clients and Arnold Palmer Regional Airport (LBE) in Latrobe when a group splits between commercial and charter flights.

Pittsburgh International (PIT) Airport Information

Pittsburgh International Airport is located at 1000 Airport Blvd, Pittsburgh, PA 15231, United States. The airport information line is +1 412-472-3525 and the official website is https://flypittsburgh.com/. The airport is owned and operated by the Allegheny County Airport Authority.

History and Regional Importance

The airport opened in 1952 and grew into one of the busiest connecting hubs in the eastern United States during the 1990s, when the midfield terminal handled over twenty million passengers a year for US Airways. After the hub was dismantled in 2004, PIT reinvented itself as an origin and destination airport serving Western Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and northern West Virginia. Today nearly every passenger begins or ends a trip in the Pittsburgh region, which is exactly why ground transportation quality matters so much here.

Airlines Operating at PIT

PIT hosts a competitive mix of legacy, low fare, and regional carriers. American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, United Airlines, and Southwest Airlines anchor the schedule, joined by Allegiant Air, Breeze Airways, JetBlue, Spirit Airlines, Sun Country Airlines, Alaska Airlines, and Southern Airways Express. International service is provided by Air Canada Express, British Airways with a seasonal London Heathrow route, and Icelandair to Reykjavik.

Domestic Destinations

Nonstop domestic flights connect Pittsburgh with every major hub, including Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas Fort Worth, Denver, Houston, Los Angeles, New York JFK and LaGuardia, Newark, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Boston, Washington, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa, Las Vegas, Nashville, and Minneapolis. Seasonal leisure routes reach Myrtle Beach, Savannah, Greenville Spartanburg, and Sarasota, with new nonstops added regularly as demand grows.

Terminal Information

The new 811,000 square foot terminal opened on November 18, 2025, replacing the landside building and the underground people mover that had operated since 1992. Departures are on the upper level and arrivals on the lower level, with a single expanded TSA checkpoint feeding a connector bridge inspired by the Fort Pitt Bridge. Passengers then descend into the center core of the airside building, where Concourses A, B, C, and D fan out to the gates. Outdoor terraces on both the landside and airside continue to open through 2026.

Passenger Traffic

PIT served 9.84 million passengers in 2025, close to the 9.95 million recorded in 2024, which was the strongest year since the hub era. International traffic passed 195,000 passengers in 2024 and continues to grow with the Iceland and London routes. The airport handled roughly 134,000 aircraft operations in 2025 along with a significant cargo operation on the north side of the field.

Parking Overview

The transformed airport added about 6,000 new parking spaces. The Terminal Garage and Terminal Lot sit within a three to five minute walk of the doors, the Shuttle Lot offers economy rates with a ten minute shuttle ride, PIT Executive is available by reservation only, and a free Wait Lot allows one hour of standing for drivers meeting arriving passengers. Booking ahead online at least seven days in advance secures the lowest daily rates.

Pickup and Drop Off Guidance

Arrivals Level Meeting Points

Commercial vehicles for hire use the designated ground transportation area on the lower arrivals level. Your chauffeur will send a text with the exact door number once your flight is on final approach.

Meeting Your Chauffeur After Baggage Claim

Collect your bags, exit through the arrivals doors, and look for the Sprinter van with our placard in the window. For groups that prefer a meet and greet inside the terminal, we can position the chauffeur at the base of the escalators with a name sign for a small additional fee.

Flight Tracking and Wait Time

We monitor every inbound flight number, so a two hour delay or a thirty minute early arrival does not require a phone call. Complimentary wait time begins when the aircraft is on the ground.

Ground Transportation Options

Beyond private chauffeured service, arriving passengers can choose rental cars from the consolidated center, the 28X Airport Flyer bus to Oakland and Downtown, taxis at the curb, and app based rideshare from a designated zone. Details on each are published on the airport ground transportation page. Public transit suits an individual with a single carry on. A group of twelve with luggage headed to a hotel in Cranberry Township needs a private vehicle sized for everyone.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Share your flight number and final destination when booking so the chauffeur is positioned correctly
  • Designate one group leader to communicate with dispatch and keep the party together at baggage claim
  • Check live Interstate 376 and Turnpike status through PennDOT road conditions if you are timing a same day meeting
  • Winter travelers should allow extra time for lake effect snow along the Parkway West between December and March
  • Keep valuables in a carry on and let the chauffeur load checked bags into the rear cargo bay

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Wins for PIT Groups?

Taxis at PIT carry four passengers at most, and rideshare drivers regularly decline large luggage loads at the curb. Splitting fourteen people into multiple cars produces unpredictable fares during peak demand, staggered arrivals at the destination, and no single point of accountability. A prebooked Sprinter from Union Limousine arrives with a confirmed price, a chauffeur who tracked your flight, a vehicle sized for the whole group, and the option to add hotel pickups, event shuttles, and the return trip to the airport under one reservation.

Reserve Your PIT Sprinter Van Today

Lock in your airport pickup before the group lands. Reserve online at Union Limousine with your flight details, headcount, and destination, and a confirmation with chauffeur contact information will follow. Our Pennsylvania Sprinter van service desk is open around the clock for quotes, changes, and last minute additions, and our wider Sprinter van service reaches airports across the Northeast whenever the itinerary continues beyond Pittsburgh.

Our chauffeurs operate twenty four hours a day, so departures at 5 AM and red eye arrivals after midnight are covered at standard rates.
