Mobile International (BFM) Airport Limo Service
Executives flying into Brookley for Airbus and port meetings choose our Mobile International (BFM) Airport Limo Service for quiet cabins, live flight tracking and a chauffeur who handles all the bags.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Mobile International (BFM) Airport
Brookley is about to become the front door of the Gulf Coast. Mobile International (BFM) Airport sits minutes from downtown Mobile, right off Interstate 10, and once the new terminal welcomes its first airline passengers the drive from the gate to a Water Street hotel will take about ten minutes. Union Limousine brings our Alabama airport limo service to this terminal with chauffeurs who already know the Michigan Avenue approach, the elevated roadway and the garage layout, so your first ride out of BFM feels routine on day one.
Flights into Mobile tend to carry a purpose: an Airbus plant visit, a Carnival sailing, a wedding at the Battleship, a week on the sand in Orange Beach. Every one of those trips starts at a curb, and we make that curb the easiest part of the journey. You tell us your flight number, we watch it, and a chauffeur in a black vehicle is standing at arrivals when you walk out.
Why Alabama Travelers Choose Our BFM Limo Service?
Mobile is a port city with a port city's rhythms. Ships sail on fixed tides, cruise embarkations close at a set minute, and shipyard meetings at Austal or the Port of Mobile begin on the hour. Our Mobile International (BFM) Airport limo service is built around those fixed points. Here is what that means in practice:
- Live flight monitoring on every BFM arrival, so an early touchdown or a weather hold never leaves you waiting.
- Chauffeurs who are licensed, background checked and trained on the Brookley Aeroplex road network.
- Flat, confirmed pricing for the common Mobile runs: downtown, the cruise terminal, Spanish Fort, Fairhope, Daphne and the Baldwin County beaches.
- Meet and greet in the terminal with a name sign on request, useful for first visits and international arrivals.
- Child seats, luggage trailers for large groups and accessible vehicles available when you ask at booking.
- Dispatch that answers around the clock, because Gulf Coast flights and cruise ships do not keep office hours.
Who We Drive to and From Mobile International Airport?
Business Travelers Headed to Brookley and the Waterfront
The Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley surrounds the airport, which puts Airbus, the aerospace suppliers and the industrial park within a few minutes of the terminal. A short hop in the other direction reaches the Port of Mobile, the state's flagship deepwater port and the reason so many logistics, shipping and energy executives fly in each week. We handle those itineraries with sedans and SUVs that double as rolling offices, with charging ports and a quiet cabin for calls before the meeting.
Cruise Guests Connecting to the Alabama Cruise Terminal
Carnival's Mobile departures leave from the Alabama Cruise Terminal at 201 South Water Street, a drive of roughly ten minutes from the Brookley terminal. Guests who fly in on sailing day often have a tight window between baggage claim and the embarkation cutoff. We stage the vehicle before your flight is on final approach, load the bags at the curb and deliver you to the cruise drop lane with time to spare. On disembarkation morning we reverse the process with an early pickup at the terminal and a direct ride back to BFM.
Beach Bound Families and Groups for Gulf Shores and Orange Beach
Baldwin County's beaches draw millions of visitors every year, and a growing share of them fly into Mobile. The Baldwin Beach Express off Interstate 10 puts Gulf Shores and Orange Beach about an hour and a quarter from the airport. Families with coolers, strollers and golf clubs choose an SUV or Sprinter van so nobody has to split up into two rideshare cars. Larger reunions and bachelorette weekends book a party bus or mini charter bus and start the vacation the moment the doors close.
Weddings, Mardi Gras and Venue Nights in Downtown Mobile
Mobile throws the oldest Mardi Gras in the United States, and parade season fills every hotel from Dauphin Street to Spanish Fort. Add wedding venues like the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, the Saenger Theatre and the riverside convention center, and you have a city where a stretch limousine or a party bus earns its keep. We coordinate airport arrivals with the venue timeline so the bridal party, the band and out of town guests all arrive together and on cue.

Mobile International (BFM) Airport Guide for Arriving Passengers
History and Importance of the Airport
The runways at BFM began life as Brookley Field and served as Brookley Air Force Base until 1969. After the base closed, the site grew into the 1,650 acre Mobile Aeroplex at Brookley, home to the Airbus U.S. Manufacturing Facility and a cluster of aerospace employers. The Mobile Airport Authority opened Terminal 1 for commercial passengers on May 1, 2019, with two gates and five ticket counters, and a 2020 master plan committed the region to moving all scheduled airline service from Mobile Regional Airport on the west side of the city to this downtown location. The new $381 million terminal, which broke ground in December 2022, is the result. You can follow the project through the official Mobile International Airport site, which also carries flight status, parking and accessibility details.
Airlines and Destinations
Airlines Operating From BFM
As of October 2026 the airport is between carriers. Frontier flew here first, followed by Avelo and then Breeze Airways, which paused its Mobile routes in January 2025. Delta Air Lines, American Airlines and United Airlines have all confirmed that they will shift their Mobile operations from MOB to the new BFM terminal when it opens, now scheduled for the first quarter of 2027 after jet bridge and baggage system deliveries and a federal security review pushed the date past the original fall 2026 target. Cargo flights by Amazon Air and FedEx Express continue daily.
Domestic Destinations
Once the airline move is complete, passengers can expect nonstop flights to the five hubs those carriers already serve from Mobile: Atlanta, Dallas Fort Worth, Charlotte, Houston and Washington, DC. Connections through those hubs cover the entire country in one stop. Earlier low fare service linked Mobile with Orlando, Denver, Chicago and Providence, and the Airport Authority continues to court leisure carriers for the new facility.
Terminal Information
The new passenger terminal faces Interstate 10 and opens with five gates, with space to expand to twelve. It is designed to international standards with a single security checkpoint, consolidated baggage claim and a curbside served by an elevated roadway that separates arrivals from departures. The original Terminal 1 at the south end of Michigan Avenue remains in use for general aviation and the 24 hour FBO, which provides fueling, hangar space and aircraft maintenance. Until the airline transition, the terminal building normally opens two hours before a scheduled arrival or departure and closes one hour after the last arrival.
Passenger Traffic
BFM handled 10,804 passengers in 2024 during its final year of Breeze service. The Airport Authority projects a very different picture after the move: Mobile Regional currently serves several hundred thousand passengers a year, and all of that traffic, plus growth from a downtown location and lower fares, is expected to flow through the new terminal. For travelers that means a busier curb than Brookley has ever seen, which is exactly why a prearranged pickup pays off.
Parking Overview
A 1,250 space parking garage connected to the terminal by the elevated roadway was finished ahead of the terminal itself, with surface lots planned for economy and long term stays. Rates will be posted on the airport site when commercial service begins. Travelers who prefer not to pay daily garage fees for a week at sea or on the beach often find that a round trip chauffeur booking costs about the same and removes the walk through the garage with luggage.
Pickup and Drop Off Guidance
Arrivals Curb Protocol
Commercial vehicles at BFM use the designated ground transportation lane on the arrivals level. Your chauffeur will text you while you are at baggage claim with the exact door and vehicle description. For departures we drop at the upper level curb, two hours before a domestic flight unless you tell us you are traveling light.
What to Have Ready
Keep your phone on after touchdown, confirm your bag count with the chauffeur and let us know in advance if you need a wheelchair, a child seat or a stop at a grocery store on the way to a beach rental.
If Your Flight Diverts to MOB
Until the airline move is complete, some Mobile bound flights still operate from Mobile Regional Airport on Airport Boulevard, about 25 minutes west. Our dispatch tracks the actual arrival airport, and the same chauffeur simply meets you there at no change in price.
Ground Transportation Options
Beyond our service, arriving passengers can expect rental car counters in the new terminal, metered taxis and rideshare pickup from a designated zone. The Wave Transit system runs city bus routes through the Brookley area with connections to downtown. Hotel shuttles are limited because most downtown properties are so close that a short car ride replaces them.
Tips for Arriving Passengers
- Downtown is north of the airport, the beaches are east across the Bayway, and Mobile Regional is west. Tell your chauffeur the destination and let us handle the routing.
- Mobile Bay fog can delay morning flights in winter. Build a buffer into cruise and wedding day arrivals.
- Mardi Gras parade routes close downtown streets in February and early March. We reroute automatically, but allow extra time.
- The Wallace Tunnel and Bayway bridge carry heavy traffic on summer Fridays. A Sunday arrival into Gulf Shores is often smoother.
- Humidity is real. Our vehicles are cooled before you step in.
Why Prebooking a Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at BFM?
Taxi and rideshare supply around Brookley is thin today and will take time to catch up with a brand new terminal. Surge pricing on cruise mornings, drivers who decline a 90 minute beach run and the scramble for a vehicle big enough for six suitcases are all problems that disappear when a Union Limousine chauffeur is already assigned to your flight. You know the price before you leave home, you know the vehicle, and you have a dispatch number that answers at 5 AM.
Statewide Coverage From the Gulf Coast to the Tennessee Valley
Mobile is one stop on an Alabama limo service network that reaches every corner of the state. Travelers whose flights still arrive on the west side can book the same chauffeur team through our Mobile Regional (MOB) Airport limo service, and corporate accounts that need a consistent driver across Birmingham, Huntsville and Montgomery rely on our Alabama airport chauffeur service for hourly and multi city itineraries. For simple point to point rides that do not call for a limousine, our BFM airport car service covers the same curb with the same standards.

The new terminal is built, and Delta, American and United plan to move from Mobile Regional in the first quarter of 2027. Until then most Mobile airline flights use MOB, and we serve both airports with the same chauffeurs.
About four miles. A chauffeured ride from the Brookley terminal to the Carnival pier on South Water Street takes roughly ten minutes outside of parade days.
Your chauffeur meets you at the arrivals level ground transportation lane, or inside at baggage claim with a name sign if you request a meet and greet.
Yes. The run across the Bayway and down the Baldwin Beach Express takes about 75 minutes. SUVs, Sprinter vans and charter buses are all available for beach transfers.
We track the actual arrival airport in real time. If your flight shifts between BFM and MOB, the same vehicle meets you there with no change to your quoted rate.
Downtown transfers are priced as a flat rate quoted before you book. The short distance from Brookley makes it one of the least expensive airport rides in Alabama.
A Sprinter van seats up to 14 with luggage. For larger sailings we provide mini charter buses for 35 or full size coaches for 56 passengers.
Absolutely. Stretch limousines and party buses are popular during parade season. Book early, since February dates fill quickly across the Gulf Coast.
Give yourself at least three hours between scheduled touchdown and the embarkation cutoff. We stage early and move fast, and a buffer covers any fog or flight delay.
Yes. Infant, toddler and booster seats are installed on request, and wheelchair accessible SUVs and vans can be reserved with a day's notice.
