What we offer

Scottsdale (SDL) Airport Limo Service

JSX passengers and fractional owners count on our tail number tracking at Scottsdale Airport, so your car slides with your arrival and medical, wedding, or event transfers across Arizona stay on time.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Scottsdale (SDL) Airport

Corporate jets touch down at Scottsdale Airport every few minutes, and the people stepping off them expect the same standard on the ground. Our Arizona airport limo service meets that expectation with a chauffeur waiting at the FBO door, a polished black vehicle idling in the shade, and a route already mapped to your resort, office, or home anywhere in Arizona, AZ.

Union Limousine has moved executives, golf groups, medical travelers, and wedding parties through the Scottsdale Airpark for years. We know which FBO your flight will use, how the Airport Drive loop flows at rush hour, and how long it really takes to reach Troon North, Paradise Valley, or Old Town on a Saturday afternoon. That local knowledge shows up in every transfer we run.

Why Travelers Choose Our Scottsdale Airport Limo Service?

SDL is a general aviation field. There is no airline curb, no taxi rank, and no shuttle counter. Private flyers, JSX passengers, and charter guests all walk out through an FBO lounge, which means the ground transportation plan has to be arranged before the wheels touch the runway. Union Limousine builds that plan for you and confirms it in writing.

What Sets Us Apart at SDL?

  • Chauffeurs tracked to your tail number or JSX flight so the car is in position when you clear the FBO
  • Meet and greet inside Signature, Jet Aviation, or Atlantic Aviation on request
  • Flat quotes for Scottsdale, Phoenix, Mesa, and statewide Arizona transfers
  • Late model sedans, SUVs, stretch limousines, Sprinters, party buses, and coaches under one dispatch desk
  • Complimentary wait time tied to the actual arrival, never the scheduled one
  • Child seats, extra luggage space, and golf bag capacity confirmed at booking

Scottsdale (SDL) Airport At a Glance

Scottsdale Airport sits at 15000 N Airport Dr, Scottsdale, AZ 85260, United States, in the heart of the Scottsdale Airpark on the north side of the city. The FAA identifier is SDL, while airline systems list the field under the IATA code SCF. The administrative office answers at +1 480 312 2321 on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., airport operations run around the clock, and the Scottsdale Airport official website carries current notices, fees, and customs information.

About Scottsdale Airport

History and Importance

The field opened on June 22, 1942 as Thunderbird Field II, a basic flight school that trained Army Air Corps pilots during the Second World War. It closed a little over two years later, served as a trade school campus for a time, and was reborn as a municipal airport in 1967. The first fixed base operator signed on in April of that year and the first business jets arrived that August. By 1969 the ramp already held 127 airplanes and 20 helicopters.

Today the City of Scottsdale owns and runs the airport on 282 acres with a single asphalt runway, 3/21, measuring 8,249 by 100 feet. That runway handles long range jets such as the Gulfstream G650 and places SDL among the ten busiest single runway airports in the world. The surrounding Scottsdale Airpark, a 2,600 acre business district, grew up around the field and now anchors much of the north Valley economy. City officials estimate the airport generates about $1.1 billion in annual economic impact and supports close to 6,000 jobs.

Airlines Operating from SDL

No traditional airline serves Scottsdale Airport. The scheduled option is JSX, the semiprivate carrier that shifted its Phoenix area base from Sky Harbor to SDL on January 10, 2024. JSX flies 30 seat regional jets from a private hangar, and passengers can check in as little as 20 minutes before a domestic departure. Everything else at the field is private: fractional programs such as NetJets and Flexjet, on demand charter operators, and owner flown aircraft. Flexjet broke ground on a $36 million private terminal here in 2025, and the airport earned the Business Airport of the Year title that same year for the new NetJets maintenance hangar.

Destinations from Scottsdale Airport

JSX connects Scottsdale with Burbank, Las Vegas, and the Denver area, with seasonal and added routes rotating through the schedule. On October 8, 2026 the carrier adds its first international flight from SDL, a nonstop to Los Cabos, which is why U.S. Customs maintains an inspection office inside the Aviation Business Center. Private and charter departures reach every major U.S. market, from Teterboro and Van Nuys to Aspen, Palm Beach, and Cabo, with the Super Bowl week of 2023 setting the local record at 490 corporate jet movements in a single day.

Terminal and FBO Information

The old 1968 passenger terminal came down in 2018 and was replaced by the Aviation Business Center, a 23,800 square foot building that opened that November as the centerpiece of a $27 million redevelopment. It houses airport administration, customs, tenant offices, the Volanti Restaurant and Lounge, a public viewing deck facing the McDowell Mountains, and the Thunderbird Field II Veterans Memorial. Passenger handling happens at the three FBOs along Airport Drive: Signature Aviation, Jet Aviation at 14650 N Airport Dr, and Atlantic Aviation at 14600 N Airport Dr. Each has its own lounge, conference space, and vehicle lot, and each is where your chauffeur will meet you.

Passenger Traffic and Activity

Scottsdale counts activity in takeoffs and landings. The field logged roughly 164,000 operations in 2025, close to 170,000 in 2022, and a peak of 186,514 in 2019. Around 450 aircraft call SDL home, and the draft master plan projects total operations growing about 2.8 percent a year while charter passenger counts climb close to 9 percent annually over the next two decades. Winter is the busiest season, with the WM Phoenix Open, Barrett Jackson, spring training, and the Arabian Horse Show each adding a surge of inbound jets.

Parking at Scottsdale Airport

Public parking at the Aviation Business Center is free, and the building stays open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. for visitors heading to the restaurant or viewing deck. Each FBO keeps its own short term and covered lots for passengers and crews, with valet available through the front desk at most of them. Long stay parking is informal and depends on the FBO, which is one reason many frequent flyers simply reserve a car both ways and leave their own vehicle at home.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

Tell us which FBO your flight is using, since the three buildings sit at different points along the Airport Drive loop. For arrivals, our chauffeur parks in the FBO visitor lot, steps inside, and waits by the lounge with a name sign so your bags move straight from the aircraft cart to the trunk. For departures, we target a drop at the FBO entrance about 30 minutes before a private flight and 45 minutes ahead of a JSX departure, with extra margin for the international Los Cabos service.

Ground Transportation Options

Because SDL has no commercial curb, the usual airport menu does not apply. Rideshare drivers rarely stage nearby, metered taxis must be called in from Phoenix, and no shared shuttle runs a fixed route from the field. Rental counters are off site. Visit Scottsdale lists a handful of local car services and motorcoach operators on its Scottsdale transportation guide, and the FBO front desks can phone a cab, but the reliable path is a pre arranged chauffeur who already knows your tail number and your FBO.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Share the aircraft registration or JSX flight number so we can follow the live arrival
  • Confirm which FBO the operator filed for; charter brokers sometimes switch at the last minute
  • Expect summer ramp temperatures above 110 degrees, so keep the walk to the car short
  • Customs arrivals clear inside the Aviation Business Center before reaching the FBO lounge
  • Golf bags, ski cases, and oversized luggage travel best in an SUV or Sprinter, so mention them when you book
  • Loop 101 and Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard back up during the WM Phoenix Open, so allow extra time that week

Why a Pre Booked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at SDL?

At an airline hub a rideshare lot is always a short walk away. At Scottsdale Airport the nearest available driver may be fifteen minutes out on Scottsdale Road, and surge pricing kicks in whenever an event empties WestWorld or TPC Scottsdale. A pre booked chauffeur removes that uncertainty. The fare is locked, the vehicle is matched to your group and luggage, the chauffeur is tracking your arrival, and the car is already at the FBO when you walk out. For executives billing travel time and families managing children after a long flight, that certainty is the whole point.

Where We Drive From Scottsdale Airport?

Scottsdale, the Airpark, and Paradise Valley

Most SDL transfers stay close to home. Our Scottsdale Airport car service reaches the Kierland Commons and Scottsdale Quarter hotels in under ten minutes, the Fairmont Princess and Four Seasons Troon North in fifteen, and the Paradise Valley estates along Lincoln Drive in about twenty. Old Town Scottsdale, Fashion Square, and the Waterfront district sit roughly 12 miles south on Scottsdale Road or Hayden Road.

North Valley Communities

Beyond the city line we serve Cave Creek, Carefree, Fountain Hills, Rio Verde, and the Desert Mountain and Estancia communities with the same limo service in Arizona that covers the rest of the state. Statewide runs to Tucson, Sedona, Prescott, and Flagstaff are quoted flat, with vehicles rated for the climb up Interstate 17 and the Oak Creek switchbacks.

Venues and Events Near SDL

WestWorld of Scottsdale is four minutes from the FBOs and hosts Barrett Jackson each January along with the Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and dozens of equestrian and trade events. TPC Scottsdale and the Fairmont Princess, home of the WM Phoenix Open, are a short drive west on Bell Road. Talking Stick Resort, Salt River Fields, and the Pavilions sit to the south along Loop 101, while the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix campus on Shea Boulevard draws patients from across the country who want a quiet, direct ride after a private flight. Groups attending any of these events can pair a sedan for the principal with charter bus rental in Arizona for the rest of the delegation.

Other Airports We Connect With SDL

Phoenix Sky Harbor is about 18 miles south, Deer Valley Airport sits 15 miles west, Falcon Field in Mesa and Phoenix Mesa Gateway lie to the southeast, and Glendale Municipal serves the west Valley, all inside Maricopa County. Crews repositioning between fields, passengers connecting from an airline flight to a private departure, and fractional owners splitting a trip across two airports all use our Arizona airport chauffeur service to keep the schedule intact.

Corporate and Executive Transfers

The Airpark is home to hundreds of corporate headquarters and regional offices. We run recurring executive transfers on account, with monthly invoicing, passenger profiles, and preferred chauffeur requests. Discretion is standard: chauffeurs sign confidentiality agreements and never discuss passengers or itineraries.

Golf Trips and Resort Stays

Scottsdale is one of the busiest golf destinations in the country, with roughly 200 courses spread across the Valley. Our SUVs and Sprinters carry full sets for every player, and chauffeurs stage at the bag drop so clubs go straight from the trunk to the cart.

Hourly Chauffeur Service Around the Airpark

Need the car to stay with you between meetings on Raintree Drive, lunch at Kierland, and a departure the same evening? Book by the hour and the chauffeur remains on call, with the vehicle cooled and ready between stops.

Meet and Greet Inside the FBO

For first time visitors, VIP guests, and unaccompanied family members, our chauffeur will come inside the FBO lounge, introduce themselves by name, and handle the luggage handoff with the line crew.

Your chauffeur meets you at whichever FBO your operator has filed: Signature Aviation, Jet Aviation, or Atlantic Aviation. We confirm the building the day before and again when the aircraft is airborne, so a last minute switch never leaves you searching the ramp.

Yes. JSX moved its Phoenix area operation to Scottsdale Airport in January 2024 and flies from a private hangar on the field. Give us your JSX flight number and we track it the same way we track private aircraft.

Private operators usually ask for 15 to 30 minutes before wheels up, JSX requires check in at least 20 minutes before domestic flights, and international departures call for 45 minutes. We schedule your drop with a buffer on top of whatever your operator requests.

Absolutely. We monitor the aircraft registration through flight tracking, so if your departure slips in Aspen or Van Nuys, the pickup slides with it at no extra charge.

Rideshare apps work, but drivers rarely stage near the Airpark and taxis must be called in from Phoenix, which means waits and surge pricing. A pre booked car is the dependable choice at a general aviation field.

Old Town is about 12 miles south of the airport. Outside of rush hour the trip takes 20 to 25 minutes via Scottsdale Road or Hayden Road; during event weeks we add time for Loop 101 traffic.

Yes. WestWorld is four minutes from the FBOs, and we run sedans, Sprinters, and coaches for auction week, the Arabian Horse Show, and corporate hospitality events held there.

Yes. We pair a sedan or SUV for the principal with a Sprinter, mini coach, or full size charter bus for staff, luggage, and guests, all coordinated by the same dispatcher.

Our Suburbans, Escalades, and Navigators carry four golf bags with passengers, and Sprinters take a full group's clubs plus suitcases. Mention the bag count at booking so we assign the right vehicle.

Customs clears inside the Aviation Business Center before you reach the FBO lounge. Your chauffeur waits at the lounge with a name sign and coordinates the luggage handoff once you are released.
