What we offer

Colorado Springs (COS) Airport Limo Service

Groups of 3 to 56 fit our Colorado Springs (COS) Airport limo service fleet, from sedans to full size buses, so teams, wedding parties and cadet families ride together with one chauffeur and one bill.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Colorado Springs (COS) Airport

Flights into Colorado Springs land at an airport built for speed: one terminal, twelve gates, and a baggage claim that sits a short walk from the curb. Our Colorado airport limo service is built to match that pace. A chauffeur tracks your inbound flight, waits inside the lower level with a name sign, loads your luggage, and has you rolling toward Peterson Space Force Base, The Broadmoor, the Air Force Academy, or any address in Colorado, CO within minutes of touchdown.

We serve the entire Pikes Peak region and the Front Range beyond it. A single executive on a Colorado Springs airport car service run and a visiting delegation on a coach transfer receive the same standards: licensed chauffeurs, late model vehicles, flat rate quotes, and a dispatch desk that answers at any hour. Union Limousine has run chauffeured transfers since 1997, and that experience shows in the details that matter on a travel day.

Why Colorado Travelers Choose Our COS Airport Limo Transfers?

Colorado Springs Airport handles about 2.4 million passengers a year, and a large share of them are repeat visitors: defense contractors on a recurring schedule, families visiting cadets, conference delegates returning to the same resort each spring. Those travelers value predictability above everything else. Here is what a prebooked transfer with us delivers on every trip:

  • Live flight monitoring on every COS arrival, with pickup times adjusted automatically for early or delayed flights.
  • Complimentary wait time after landing so you can collect checked bags without watching the clock.
  • Flat rate pricing quoted before the trip, with no surge multipliers during holiday peaks or Air Force Academy graduation week.
  • Chauffeurs who know Powers Boulevard traffic patterns, the I 25 construction zones, and the back routes into Manitou Springs and Woodland Park.
  • Vehicle choices from a three passenger sedan to a 56 passenger coach, all dispatched from one booking.
  • Child seats, luggage trailers for ski gear, and ADA friendly vehicles arranged on request.

Who Rides With Us From Colorado Springs Airport?

Military, Defense, and Government Travel

Few airports in the country sit as close to active installations as COS. Peterson Space Force Base shares the runways, Schriever Space Force Base is a short drive east, Fort Carson lies to the south, and the United States Air Force Academy anchors the north end of the city. We handle TDY arrivals, change of station moves, contractor site visits, and graduation week family transfers with chauffeurs who understand gate procedures and arrive with the documentation needed for base access. For riders heading anywhere across El Paso County, home to about 750,000 residents and eight municipalities, our El Paso County car service covers Monument, Fountain, Falcon, Peyton, and Manitou Springs on the same flat rate structure.

Corporate and Conference Travel

The Broadmoor, Cheyenne Mountain Resort, Garden of the Gods Resort, and the hotels along Interquest Parkway host a steady calendar of conferences, board retreats, and incentive trips. We coordinate arrival manifests for groups spread across several inbound flights, stage vehicles so each wave of delegates departs promptly, and provide hourly chauffeur service for the days in between. Downtown offices near Tejon Street and the technology employers around Garden of the Gods Road are frequent destinations for single traveler sedan runs.

Leisure, Weddings, and Group Adventures

Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods, the Olympic and Paralympic Museum, Seven Falls, and the Royal Gorge draw visitors every month of the year, and a limo pickup turns the first hour in Colorado into part of the vacation. Wedding parties flying into COS for ceremonies at Hillside Gardens, Flying Horse, or the Broadmoor chapel ride together in a stretch limousine or Sprinter. Ski groups bound for Monarch or Breckenridge load gear into an SUV or a Colorado airport charter bus rental and bypass the rental car counter entirely.

Our Fleet for Colorado Springs Airport Transfers

Union Limousine maintains vehicle categories sized for every group that passes through COS. Every option below is dispatched with a professional chauffeur, commercial insurance, and luggage space matched to the passenger count.

Sedans (Up to 3 Passengers)

Executive sedans suit solo business travelers, couples, and anyone with a single carry on and one checked bag. Typical runs: COS to Peterson Space Force Base, downtown hotels, and The Broadmoor.

SUVs (Up to 6 Passengers)

Full size SUVs carry families, small teams, and ski travelers with bulky gear. The extra ground clearance helps on winter mornings when Ute Pass and the roads toward Woodland Park hold snow.

Stretch Limousines (Up to 20 Passengers)

Stretch limousines serve wedding parties, milestone birthday arrivals, and VIP delegations that want a memorable entrance at the resort. Interior lighting, privacy partitions, and beverage service are standard.

Sprinter Vans (Up to 14 Passengers)

Sprinter vans are the workhorse for conference groups, sports teams, and multi family reunions. Riders stand upright inside, luggage rides in a rear compartment, and the van fits in the same curb lane as a sedan.

Party Buses (Up to 30 Passengers)

Party buses handle bachelor and bachelorette weekends, brewery tours through Old Colorado City, and celebration arrivals where the ride itself is part of the event. Perimeter seating, sound systems, and coolers are included.

Mini Charter Buses (Up to 35 Passengers)

Mini coaches move mid size corporate groups, school and cadet family contingents, and tour groups headed to Pikes Peak or Cripple Creek. Overhead storage and reclining seats keep longer legs comfortable.

Full Size Charter Buses (Up to 56 Passengers)

Full size motorcoaches carry conventions, military unit movements, and large tour groups from COS to Denver, Pueblo, Breckenridge, or anywhere in the state. Restrooms, undercarriage luggage bays, and WiFi are available.

History and Importance

Colorado Springs Airport opened in 1927 on 640 acres of prairie seven miles east of downtown, with two gravel runways and a handful of daily flights. The first municipal terminal arrived in 1942, a second followed in 1966, and the current terminal opened on October 22, 1994, with twelve gates and roughly 280,000 square feet of space. The airport now spans about 7,200 acres and operates under a joint civil and military arrangement with Peterson Space Force Base, which shares the three runways, including a 13,500 foot main runway long enough for any aircraft in commercial service. The busiest year on record came in 1996, when Western Pacific Airlines ran a hub here and nearly five million passengers passed through. Today COS is the second busiest commercial airport in Colorado and the primary gateway for the southern Front Range.

Airlines Operating From COS

Six carrier brands serve Colorado Springs with mainline and regional flights. Southwest Airlines arrived in 2021 and operates the largest route network from the airport, followed by United Airlines and United Express, American Airlines and American Eagle, Delta Air Lines and Delta Connection, and Allegiant Air, which returned to COS in 2025 after an eight year absence. Regional partners such as SkyWest fly many of the Denver, Chicago, and Salt Lake City frequencies under United and Delta branding.

Domestic Destinations

Nonstop service from COS reaches the following cities, with Denver International receiving the most daily departures:

  • Denver (Southwest, United, United Express)
  • Chicago O'Hare (American Eagle, United Express)
  • Chicago Midway (Southwest)
  • Dallas/Fort Worth (American, American Eagle)
  • Houston Intercontinental (United Express) and Houston Hobby (Southwest)
  • Atlanta (Delta)
  • Salt Lake City (Delta Connection)
  • Minneapolis/St. Paul (Delta Connection, seasonal)
  • Las Vegas, Phoenix Sky Harbor, and San Diego (Southwest)
  • Phoenix/Mesa, Orange County, and St. Petersburg Clearwater (Allegiant)
  • San Antonio (Southwest, holiday peak days)

Southwest also flies seasonal weekly service to Cancun, which became the airport's first international route in 2025 after a new Federal Inspection Station opened in the former Western Pacific concourse.

Terminal Information

COS operates a single passenger terminal. Ticketing and the TSA checkpoint sit on the upper level, and all commercial flights use Concourse 1, gates 1 through 12. The lower level holds baggage claim, the rental car counters, and the ground transportation doors. A modernization program is refreshing the concourse in phases through 2026, with new terrazzo flooring, rebuilt holdrooms at gates 1 and 3, a renovated meet and greet area, and an updated checkpoint entry and exit ramp. A Priority Pass lounge, The Lounge Colorado Springs, opened in early 2025, and a local concession near gates 7 and 8 serves Colorado craft beer and food.

Passenger Traffic

The airport reported 2,448,001 total passengers in 2025, close to the 2,473,099 handled in 2024, which was the strongest year since the 1990s. Summer is the peak season: June 2025 brought 235,642 travelers, and June 30 of that year set a single day checkpoint record with 4,935 passengers screened. December and the spring break weeks also run heavy as skiers and holiday visitors arrive. Chauffeurs scheduled for those windows build extra buffer into curb timing so the pickup still happens on schedule.

Parking Overview

Public parking at COS is split between a short term lot beside the terminal and a long term lot a short walk away, with valet and covered valet service at the curb and an overflow lot that opens only when long term fills. Published maximum daily rates run about $15 in the short term lot and about $8 in the long term lot following the 2024 short term rate change announced by the Director of Aviation. A ParkCOS annual membership launched in May 2025 for frequent flyers. The front curb allows active loading and unloading only, and vehicles left there are moved.

Pickup and Drop Off Guidance

Arriving at COS

Milton E Proby Parkway loops in from Powers Boulevard and splits as it reaches the terminal: the upper roadway serves departures and the lower roadway serves arrivals. Once you deplane, follow the signs down to baggage claim on the lower level. Ground transportation doors open directly onto the arrivals curb, where marked zones separate hotel shuttles, taxis, rideshare pickups, and prearranged commercial vehicles.

Meet and Greet Inside Baggage Claim

Our standard COS arrival is a meet and greet. Your chauffeur stands at the base of the escalator or beside your carousel holding a sign with your name, helps with bags, and walks you to the vehicle. The airport's renovated meet and greet area makes this handoff easy to spot.

Curbside Pickup for Carry On Travelers

Riders with carry on luggage only can request a curbside pickup. We text the chauffeur's name, vehicle description, and plate number before the aircraft reaches the gate, and the car pulls into the commercial zone as you step outside.

Departing From COS

We schedule departures so you reach the upper level ticketing curb about 90 minutes before a domestic flight and two hours before the Cancun departure, which clears customs forms before boarding. The TSA checkpoint at COS rarely runs long, but holiday mornings and the 5 a.m. Denver connection bank can build a line, so chauffeurs add a cushion on those dates.

Ground Transportation Options

Beyond chauffeured service, COS offers Mountain Metropolitan Transit city bus service from a stop near the terminal, a scheduled shuttle line that connects Colorado Springs with Denver International, metered taxis staged on the arrivals level, rideshare pickups in a designated zone, and on site rental counters for Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, and National across from baggage claim. Hotel courtesy shuttles serve the properties along Powers Boulevard and the airport corridor.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Colorado Springs sits at 6,187 feet. Drink water on the flight and go easy on the first evening, especially before a Pikes Peak drive.
  • Winter arrivals should keep a jacket in the carry on; the walk from the curb can be windy even on sunny days.
  • Baggage claim is small and bags arrive quickly, so step down to the lower level right after deplaning.
  • Cell coverage inside the terminal is strong; text your chauffeur the moment you land for the fastest handoff.
  • Afternoon thunderstorms in July and August can delay inbound flights; our dispatch watches the radar and adjusts your pickup without a call from you.
  • Military travelers should carry base access credentials in a reachable pocket so gate checks go quickly on arrival.

Why Prebooking a Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at COS?

Rideshare at a mid size airport runs on whoever happens to be nearby when you land. At 10 p.m. after a delayed Houston flight, that can mean a 25 minute wait and a surge fare. Taxis staged at the curb are limited in number and fill quickly when two Denver flights land together. A prebooked Union Limousine chauffeur removes the gamble: the vehicle is assigned days in advance, the fare is fixed in writing, the chauffeur is already in the building when your bags appear, and the same company handles the return trip. For groups, a single Sprinter or coach replaces four or five separate rideshare cars and keeps everyone on one schedule.

Beyond Colorado Springs: Front Range and Statewide Connections

Many COS arrivals continue north or south. We run flat rate transfers to Castle Rock, the Denver Tech Center, Boulder, and Denver International Airport, and south to Pueblo, Canon City, and the Royal Gorge. Travelers who find a better fare into Denver International or Pueblo Memorial can still book us for the leg home to Colorado Springs. Our limo service in Colorado covers the entire state, so a mountain transfer to Breckenridge, Vail, or Crested Butte is quoted with the same clarity as a ride across town.
