What we offer

DeKalb Peachtree (PDK) Airport Limo Service

Corporate flight departments and jet passengers rely on our DeKalb Peachtree (PDK) Airport Limo Service for FBO meet and greet, tail number tracking, and fixed pricing to Buckhead and Midtown offices.

Stretch Limo Service to and from DeKalb Peachtree (PDK) Airport

Private aviation moves fast at DeKalb Peachtree, and the ground transfer should keep pace. Union Limousine positions chauffeurs at the FBO entrance before wheels touch down in Chamblee, so a Gulfstream passenger walks from the ramp straight into a waiting black car with the trunk open and the climate set. Our Georgia airport limo service covers every arrival and departure at PDK, whether the schedule calls for a sedan to Buckhead, an SUV to Perimeter Center, or a charter bus carrying a corporate retreat to Lake Lanier.

A Chauffeur Waiting on the Ramp Side of PDK

PDK handles business jets, turboprops, and helicopter traffic across three FBOs: Atlantic Aviation, Signature, and Aero Center Epps Atlanta. Each one has its own lobby, its own vehicle lane, and its own way of handing passengers across to ground transport. We work with the FBO front desk on every booking, confirm the tail number and arrival window, and stage the vehicle where the line crew expects it. There is no terminal curb to hunt for and no app to refresh while standing in the Georgia heat.

  • Tail number tracking with live arrival updates from the FBO
  • Meet and greet inside the FBO lobby with a name board on request
  • Ramp side loading at Atlantic, Signature, and Aero Center Epps where the FBO permits
  • Luggage handling for golf bags, sample cases, and crew gear
  • Flat pricing quoted before the aircraft departs its origin

Who Relies on Limo Service at DeKalb Peachtree?

Corporate flight departments based at PDK

Over twenty corporate flight departments call PDK home, including names such as Southern Company, Waffle House, Rollins, and Quikrete, and NetJets runs regular lift through the field. Executive assistants and schedulers need a ground partner who answers the phone at 5 a.m., holds a vehicle through a weather delay, and bills cleanly to a corporate account. Union Limousine teams handle recurring runs between PDK and headquarters campuses in Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, and Downtown Atlanta on a standing schedule, and our wider limo service network covers the same executives when they travel to other cities.

Weddings, galas, and celebrations near Buckhead

Stretch limousines and party buses leave PDK for weddings at the Atlanta History Center, galas at the Fox Theatre, and milestone birthdays along Peachtree Road. Guests flying in on a chartered jet for a Saturday ceremony ride together from the FBO to the venue, then back to hotels in Buckhead or Brookhaven once the band finishes.

Group transfers from PDK to Atlanta venues

Sports teams, touring productions, and medical conference delegations choose PDK because it sits inside Interstate 285 and avoids the crowds at Hartsfield Jackson. Sprinter vans and mini coaches collect the full party at one FBO and deliver them to Truist Park, State Farm Arena, Emory University Hospital, or the Georgia World Congress Center with one driver and one invoice.

Our Fleet for PDK Airport Transfers

Every Union Limousine vehicle leaves the garage detailed, fueled, and inspected, with bottled water and phone chargers on board. Choose the size that matches the manifest.

Sedans, up to 3 passengers

Executive sedans suit a single traveler or a pair with carry on luggage heading to a Buckhead hotel, a Midtown office tower, or a dinner reservation in Chamblee. Quiet cabins make them the right call for confidential calls on the way to a board meeting.

SUVs, up to 6 passengers

Full size SUVs carry small teams with golf bags, sample cases, or ski gear. They are the most requested vehicle for jet arrivals bound for Perimeter Center, Dunwoody, and the northern suburbs along Georgia 400.

Stretch limousines, up to 20 passengers

Stretch limousines bring the occasion to the ramp. Wedding parties, anniversary celebrations, and prom groups ride with privacy glass, mood lighting, and a bar area stocked on request.

Sprinter vans, up to 14 passengers

Executive Sprinter vans fit a departmental offsite, a youth sports team, or a family reunion group flying in together. High roofs allow standing room, and rear cargo space swallows checked bags for fourteen.

Party buses, up to 30 passengers

Party buses turn the ride from PDK into the first event of the night, with wraparound seating, a full audio system, and LED lighting for bachelor and bachelorette weekends headed to Buckhead Village or Downtown Decatur.

Mini charter buses, up to 35 passengers

Mini coaches handle corporate shuttles between PDK and conference hotels, campus visits to Emory and Georgia Tech, and church groups connecting to Stone Mountain Park. Overhead racks and underfloor bays hold luggage for the whole group.

Full size charter buses, up to 56 passengers

Full size motorcoaches cover statewide movements from PDK to Savannah, Augusta, Columbus, or Athens for conventions, tournaments, and festival weekends, with restrooms, reclining seats, and power outlets for long highway stretches.

Georgia Coverage Starting at PDK

Chamblee, Brookhaven, Dunwoody, and Doraville

The airfield sits inside the city limits of Chamblee, roughly fourteen miles northeast of Downtown Atlanta and a short drive from the Chamblee MARTA station on Peachtree Road. Brookhaven lies to the southwest, Dunwoody to the northwest, and Doraville to the east, so most northside addresses are within twenty minutes of the FBO door. Our DeKalb County car service also reaches Decatur, Tucker, Stone Mountain, and Lithonia for passengers connecting to homes and offices on the east side of the metro.

Buckhead, Midtown, and Downtown Atlanta

Peachtree Road runs almost directly from the airport into Buckhead, where the St. Regis, the Whitley, and the Lenox Square shopping district draw most private aviation guests. Chauffeurs continue along Peachtree into Midtown for Piedmont Park, the High Museum, and the Fox Theatre, then into Downtown for Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium, and Mercedes Benz Stadium.

Connections to Hartsfield Jackson and other Georgia airports

Crews and passengers often reposition between PDK and Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International, about thirty miles south, when a commercial leg follows a private one. The same Georgia airport chauffeur service links PDK with Cobb County Airport at McCollum Field, Fulton County Airport at Charlie Brown Field, Gwinnett County Airport at Briscoe Field, and Athens Ben Epps Airport for multi leg itineraries. Statewide limo service in Georgia extends to Macon, Savannah, Augusta, and Columbus whenever the mission runs past the metro.

Venues and attractions worth the detour

DeKalb County holds Stone Mountain Park, the Fernbank Museum of Natural History, the Michael C. Carlos Museum at Emory, and the DeKalb Farmers Market, all profiled by Discover DeKalb for visiting groups. Northside guests also ask for Lake Lanier, Chateau Elan in Braselton, and the Michelin Raceway at Road Atlanta, each about an hour from the FBO on Interstate 85.

History and importance of PDK

The ground under the runways once belonged to Camp Gordon, a World War I Army training camp. DeKalb County bought the property in 1940, the first aircraft touched down on a dirt strip on February 12, 1941, and operations formally opened on March 22, 1941. The Navy leased the field as Naval Air Station Atlanta through the Second World War and held it into the late 1950s, with full civilian control returning in 1959, as recorded on the airport history page. A federal control tower followed within the first year of county operation, an instrument landing system was commissioned in 1980, and a new tower rose in 1988. Today PDK ranks second in Georgia for flight operations behind Hartsfield Jackson, places among the top ten business jet airports in the country, sits in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems as a reliever, and holds a Level III designation from the Georgia Department of Transportation. It is the third largest property taxpayer in DeKalb County and supports roughly 7,300 jobs.

Airlines operating from PDK

No scheduled airline serves PDK today. Ultimate Air Shuttle flew public charter flights from the field to Cincinnati and Charlotte until the service was suspended in March 2020, and it never resumed in Atlanta. The field now runs entirely on private, corporate, charter, fractional, flight training, medical, and news helicopter traffic, with NetJets and other fractional operators a daily sight on the ramps.

Destinations reached from PDK

Business jets departing PDK head most often to Teterboro and Westchester for the New York market, to Dallas Love Field and Houston Hobby, to Palm Beach, Naples, and Opa Locka in Florida, to Nashville, Charlotte, and Washington Dulles, and to Chicago Executive and Chicago Midway. The field holds customs landing rights, so arrivals from the Caribbean, Canada, Mexico, and Europe clear directly in Chamblee.

Terminal and FBO layout

There is no airline style terminal with gates or security lanes. Passengers use one of three FBOs, each with its own lobby, pilot lounge, conference rooms, and crew cars. Atlantic Aviation and Signature operate along Airport Road, while Aero Center Epps Atlanta, the independent operator on the field since 1965, keeps its own entrance on Aviation Way off Clairmont Road. A county administration building, two restaurants, a veterans memorial, and a public viewing park complete the landside.

Passenger traffic and operations

PDK logged 169,311 aircraft movements in 2025, down from 198,889 in 2024, according to the annual noise report published by DeKalb County, and the field averaged close to 230,000 movements a year through the 1990s and 2000s. Around 355 aircraft are based on the field, with another forty to fifty visiting at any given time. Flight schools, two helicopter operators, and corporate hangars share the ramp, and the control tower runs from 6:30 a.m. to 11 p.m., with a voluntary curfew on departures overnight.

Parking overview

Each FBO maintains free surface parking for passengers and guests directly in front of its lobby, and ramp side loading is available for departing flights so luggage goes from trunk to baggage hold in a few steps. The county also keeps a public lot near the administration building and the viewing park, and the long term plan published by the DeKalb County Airport Division includes a rehabilitated Airport Road and parking deck.

Pickup and drop off guidance

Give the FBO name, tail number, and estimated arrival time when booking so the chauffeur knows which lobby to enter. Our PDK airport car service drivers check in at the FBO desk, then pull into the passenger lane outside the lobby once the aircraft blocks in. For departures, allow fifteen minutes from curb to cabin; most FBOs let passengers board within a few minutes of walking through the lobby. Groups in Sprinter vans or coaches should request ramp access in advance so the FBO can clear a lane.

Ground transportation options at PDK

Rental car counters operate inside the FBOs, with vehicles delivered to the lobby door. The Chamblee MARTA station on the Gold Line lies about a mile and a half west along Peachtree Road, with MARTA buses on Chamblee Tucker Road and Clairmont Road. Rideshare drivers can reach the FBO lots, though pickup points shift and wait times climb in the evening. Taxis rarely stage at a general aviation field, so most passengers without a prebooked car end up waiting.

Tips for arriving passengers

  • Share the tail number and FBO with your chauffeur so ramp coordination starts before descent
  • Request customs clearance through the FBO well ahead of any international arrival
  • Plan around afternoon congestion on Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Interstate 85
  • Keep one carry on for items needed in the car; checked bags go straight to the trunk
  • Use the FBO lounge or crew car if the ground vehicle arrives ahead of schedule

Why a prebooked chauffeur beats taxis and rideshare at PDK?

Rideshare drivers often decline general aviation pickups because the trip starts in a parking lot with no obvious pin, and surge pricing kicks in during Atlanta rush hour and after major events. Taxis seldom cruise Chamblee at all. A reserved chauffeur removes every variable: the vehicle is confirmed days ahead, the price is locked, the driver knows the FBO staff, and the car is already idling in the lane when the cabin door opens.

Flight tracking and FBO coordination

Dispatchers follow the aircraft from departure, so a diversion, a holding pattern, or an early arrival changes the pickup time automatically with no phone call needed from the cabin.

Flat rates with no surge pricing

Every quote is final. Tolls, fuel, gratuity, and wait time are stated up front, which keeps expense reporting simple for corporate travelers and trip budgeting simple for everyone else.

Your chauffeur meets you at whichever FBO your aircraft uses: Atlantic Aviation, Signature, or Aero Center Epps Atlanta. Share the FBO name when booking and the driver checks in at that lobby desk before your arrival.

Buckhead is about eight miles southwest of the airport along Peachtree Road, which takes fifteen to twenty five minutes depending on the hour. Midtown adds another ten minutes and Downtown Atlanta sits roughly fourteen miles away.

Yes. Dispatchers follow the tail number from departure, so holding patterns, diversions, or early arrivals adjust the pickup time automatically and the vehicle is staged when the aircraft blocks in.

Yes. Transfers between PDK and Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International cover about thirty miles and take forty five to seventy minutes. Crews and passengers connecting from a private leg to a commercial flight book this run regularly.

Flight related delays are covered. Because the aircraft is tracked, the chauffeur adjusts to the new arrival time without a waiting fee. Standard wait charges apply only after the agreed grace period once the aircraft has landed.

Ramp side loading depends on the FBO and the vehicle size. Sedans and SUVs are routinely allowed through; vans and coaches usually load in the FBO lot or a cleared lane. We arrange access with the FBO in advance for groups.

Sedans and SUVs can often be confirmed within two hours. Stretch limousines, Sprinter vans, and coaches should be reserved at least forty eight hours ahead, and weekend wedding dates fill weeks in advance.

Yes. Chauffeurs load golf bags, sample cases, strollers, and ski equipment directly from the aircraft hold or the FBO lobby. Tell us the item count when booking so the right vehicle, usually an SUV or Sprinter, is assigned.

Yes. PDK holds customs landing rights, so flights from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Europe can clear on the field after arranging clearance through the FBO. The chauffeur waits in the lobby until clearance is complete.

A stretch limousine seats up to twenty guests for the ride to the ceremony, while a party bus carries up to thirty with standing room and lighting. Larger guest lists ride in a mini coach or a full size charter bus.
