What we offer

Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) Airport Limo Service

Groups, executives and families trust the Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) Limo Service for sedans, SUVs and Sprinter vans with fixed, fair pricing to Frederick, Gettysburg, Martinsburg and far more.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) Airport

Western Maryland travelers who fly through Hagerstown Regional Airport deserve a ride that matches the calm of a small terminal. Our Maryland airport limo service covers every Allegiant arrival and departure at HGR with a licensed chauffeur, a late model vehicle, and a flat quote confirmed before you pack. Union Limousine has carried airport passengers since 1997, and we bring that same discipline to Showalter Road, for rides home to Hagerstown, out to Frederick, or across the state line into Pennsylvania or West Virginia.

Chauffeured Rides Built Around the HGR Flight Schedule

HGR runs a lean schedule, so a missed connection on the ground stings. We track each Allegiant flight number, adjust your pickup to the real touchdown time, and keep the chauffeur on standby if a Florida storm delays the inbound aircraft. The quote you receive stays the same when the plane is late.

  • Flight tracking on every airport pickup, with no charge for airline delays
  • Meet and greet inside the terminal or a curbside pickup at the front door
  • Child seats, extra luggage room, and wheelchair accessible vehicles on request
  • Fixed pricing for Hagerstown, Frederick, Chambersburg, Martinsburg and beyond
  • Chauffeurs who know Interstate 81, Interstate 70 and the back roads of Washington County

Allegiant Arrivals Met at the Terminal Door

Bags at HGR come off quickly because the terminal handles one aircraft at a time. Your chauffeur waits at the arrivals exit with a name sign, loads the luggage, and has the car cooled or warmed before you step outside. Florida flights often arrive in the evening, and a reserved driver means no scrolling through a rideshare app in a parking lot after dark.

Departures Timed to the HGR Security Line

Security at HGR opens roughly ninety minutes before each departure. We schedule your pickup so you reach the terminal with comfortable margin, factoring in rush hour on Interstate 81 and school traffic along Route 11. Early morning departures to Orlando Sanford are covered with the same punctuality.

Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR) Information

Hagerstown Regional Airport, formally named Richard A. Henson Field, sits in Washington County about five miles north of downtown Hagerstown and half a mile south of the Pennsylvania border. The airport is owned and operated by Washington County, Maryland.

  • Airport Name: Hagerstown Regional Airport (HGR)
  • Airport Code: HGR
  • Address: 18434 Showalter Rd, Hagerstown, MD 21742, United States
  • Phone: +1 240 313 2777
  • Official Website: Hagerstown Regional Airport

History and Role of HGR

The airfield opened in 1928 and was purchased by the City of Hagerstown in 1933. For decades the property doubled as an aircraft factory, where Fairchild built thousands of military and civilian planes, including the Thunderbolt II attack jet, before closing the plant in the 1980s. Ownership moved to Washington County in 1981, and the field was renamed for aviation pioneer Richard A. Henson in 1998. Today the airport spans about 693 acres with two crossing runways, hosts aerospace employers such as Sierra Nevada Corporation, and is home to the Hagerstown Aviation Museum. Its location near Camp David also means presidential aircraft occasionally use the field.

Airlines and Destinations

Allegiant Air is the only scheduled passenger carrier at HGR and has served the airport since May 2012. Flights operate to Orlando Sanford (SFB) year round, with seasonal service to St. Pete Clearwater (PIE) on Florida's Gulf Coast and to Myrtle Beach (MYR) in South Carolina. Earlier commuter service to Baltimore and Pittsburgh under a federal subsidy program ended, leaving leisure routes to the Southeast as the airport's commercial focus.

Terminal, Parking and Passenger Numbers

HGR operates a single passenger terminal on Showalter Road with ticketing, one security checkpoint, a gate area and baggage claim all on one level. A 4,800 square foot expansion broke ground in April 2026, funded in part by a $5.25 million federal grant, adding ticket counters, new seating, a lactation room and space for future food vendors. According to figures compiled by the Bureau of Transportation Statistics and the FAA, the airport handled about 81,980 passengers in 2024 along with 39,322 aircraft operations.

Parking is in surface lots a short walk from the terminal entrance. The rate is $5 per day with the first hour free, payable by credit or debit card or mobile wallet, and there is no satellite lot. Full details are posted on the airport's parking and transportation page.

Pick Up and Drop Off at Showalter Road

Drop off happens at the terminal's front door. Vehicles cannot wait directly in front of the building, so meeters and greeters are asked to use the lot, where the first hour is free. Our chauffeurs follow the same rule: they stage in the lot, watch the flight status, and pull to the curb the moment your bags appear.

Ground Transportation at HGR

Avis and Budget rental counters sit at the terminal, a local taxi company serves the airport by phone, and the Washington County Commuter bus stops across the street at the Love's travel plaza. Rideshare coverage in this part of Maryland is thin, especially late at night. Reserving a Hagerstown airport car service in advance removes that uncertainty.

Tips for Passengers Arriving at HGR

Cell signal is strong at the terminal, so text your chauffeur as soon as you land. Winter weather on Interstate 81 can slow the drive toward Chambersburg or Martinsburg; travelers continuing north can check road conditions on 511PA before setting out. Keep rental car confirmations handy if you are switching vehicles, and allow extra time if your onward drive heads into the mountains toward Cumberland or Deep Creek Lake.

Why a Chauffeur Booked Ahead Beats the Taxi Line?

A taxi or rideshare at a small airport depends on who happens to be nearby when your plane lands. A chauffeur from Union Limousine is already parked, already briefed on your destination, and already priced. You know the vehicle, the name of the driver, and the total before the wheels touch down.

Where We Drive From HGR Across Maryland and the Tri State Area?

Our service area reaches every corner of Washington County and far beyond. Downtown Hagerstown, the Maryland Theatre, Meritus Medical Center and Hagerstown Community College are short rides from the airport. History buffs ride to Antietam National Battlefield in Sharpsburg or to the Gettysburg battlefield in Pennsylvania. Frederick, Boonsboro, Williamsport and Smithsburg are common drop offs, as are Chambersburg, Waynesboro and Greencastle in Franklin County and Martinsburg, Shepherdstown and Harpers Ferry in West Virginia. Our limo service in Maryland also connects HGR passengers with BWI, Dulles and Reagan National for international itineraries.

Corporate travelers visiting Sierra Nevada Corporation, Volvo Powertrain or the distribution centers along Interstate 81 book our Maryland airport chauffeur service for point to point transfers and hourly charters.

Your chauffeur waits inside the terminal by baggage claim with a name sign or, if you prefer, pulls to the front door curb once you text that your bags are in hand.

Yes. Every airport pickup is linked to the flight number, so the chauffeur adjusts to the real arrival time and there is no extra charge when the airline runs late.

Both destinations are within an hour of the airport and are among our most requested trips. Hourly charters are available if you want the chauffeur to wait during your visit.

Plan on about forty five minutes of driving plus ninety minutes at the airport. We recommend a pickup around two hours and thirty minutes before departure.

Yes. Infant, convertible and booster seats can be added when you book. Let us know the ages of the children so the correct seats are installed before pickup.

Yes. Franklin County, Pennsylvania and the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia are regular routes, and the fixed quote covers the full drive across state lines.

A Sprinter van seats up to fourteen passengers with rear cargo space for travel bags. For larger groups with many bags, a mini charter bus is the better fit.

Rideshare availability around Hagerstown drops sharply after dark. A reserved chauffeur is already on site when the plane lands, so there is no waiting for a match.

Call or email the dispatch team with the new flight details. Schedule changes caused by the airline are updated free of charge, including moves to a different day.
