What we offer

Martin State (MTN) Airport Limo Service

Wedding parties, golf groups and charter crews ride together in Sprinters, stretch limos and coaches with a Martin State (MTN) limo service built for groups. One quote, one coordinator and no waiting.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Martin State (MTN) Airport

Private flights into Middle River deserve a car waiting at the FBO door, and that is exactly what our Martin State (MTN) Airport limo service delivers across Maryland, MD. Union Limousine positions a chauffeur planeside or at the administration building before your wheels touch Runway 15/33, then carries you to Baltimore, Towson, Bel Air, Annapolis or anywhere else in the state in a vehicle matched to your group. As part of our wider Maryland airport limo service, MTN transfers follow one standard: licensed chauffeurs, late model vehicles, flight tracking and a fixed quote agreed before you fly.

Why Corporate and Private Flyers Book Our MTN Chauffeurs?

Martin State handles corporate jets, charter turboprops, helicopters and training aircraft, so arrivals rarely follow an airline timetable. Our dispatch team watches your tail number and adjusts the pickup when a departure slips or an early landing is reported. Executives flying into Middle River for meetings at the aerospace plants on Eastern Boulevard, legal teams heading to downtown courthouses and families returning from charter holidays all rely on the same Martin State Airport car service foundation: a confirmed chauffeur, a clean vehicle and a bill that does not change after the ride.

  • Tail number tracking with pickup times adjusted to the actual touchdown
  • Meet and greet inside the FBO lounge or curbside at the administration building
  • Flat quotes for Maryland destinations with tolls and gratuity shown up front
  • Chauffeurs trained for the quiet, discreet handling corporate aviation expects
  • Child seats, extra luggage room and multiple vehicle convoys on request
  • A 24 hour reservation desk for red eye charter arrivals and dawn departures

Where We Drive from Martin State Airport?

Middle River, Essex and White Marsh

The airport sits inside the Middle River community of Baltimore County, a short run from the Lockheed Martin and Middle River Aerostructure Systems campuses, MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center and the shopping district around White Marsh Mall. Chauffeurs use Eastern Boulevard, Martin Boulevard and the Route 43 connector to reach Interstate 95 within minutes, which keeps Essex, Rosedale, Perry Hall and Parkville trips short even in afternoon traffic.

Downtown Baltimore and the Inner Harbor

Downtown Baltimore is roughly ten miles southwest of the field. Our sedans and SUVs deliver guests to Harbor East hotels, the Baltimore Convention Center, Johns Hopkins Hospital, Camden Yards, M&T Bank Stadium and the Fells Point waterfront. The same Maryland limo service standard applies whether the trip ends at a boardroom on Pratt Street or a wedding venue in Mount Vernon.

Harford County and the Upper Chesapeake

Northbound trips reach Aberdeen Proving Ground, Bel Air, Havre de Grace and the Perryville waterfront in under an hour. Defense contractors arriving for APG meetings appreciate a chauffeur who already knows the gate procedures, and weekend travelers heading to Chesapeake Bay marinas in Bowleys Quarters or Chase get door to door service with room for coolers and gear.

Towson, Hunt Valley and Central Maryland

Towson University, Goucher College, the county courthouse and the corporate parks along York Road in Hunt Valley and Timonium are frequent destinations. Longer runs to Columbia, Frederick, Annapolis and the Eastern Shore are quoted as flat rates, so a transfer from MTN to the Naval Academy or to Ocean City costs what the confirmation says.

Airport and Cruise Connections

Travelers linking a private arrival at MTN with a commercial departure book our BWI Airport limo service for the 30 mile transfer to Linthicum, and cruise passengers sailing from South Locust Point use our Baltimore cruise terminal car service for the ride to the pier.

Martin State (MTN) Airport Information

Martin State is one of the largest general aviation airports on the East Coast and the state's designated reliever for BWI Marshall. Here is what to expect when you fly in.

Airport Details

  • Airport name: Martin State Airport
  • Airport code: MTN (ICAO KMTN)
  • Address: 701 Wilson Point Rd, Middle River, MD 21220, United States
  • Phone: +1 410 682 8800
  • Official website: https://martinstateairport.com/
  • Operator: Maryland Aviation Administration on behalf of the Maryland Department of Transportation

History and Importance

Glenn L. Martin bought the Middle River land in 1929 and built an aircraft factory and airfield that turned out bombers and flying boats through the Second World War. The runway dates to 1940 and the original control tower to 1942. Maryland purchased 747 acres of the field from Martin Marietta in 1975, and a 1985 executive order fixed the name as Martin State Airport with the MTN code. Today the Federal Aviation Administration lists it as a reliever airport that draws corporate and general aviation traffic away from BWI Marshall, and the airport supports close to 2,400 regional jobs. A full rehabilitation of Runway 15/33 finished in 2024, and a new midfield air traffic control tower broke ground in July 2025 with completion targeted for September 2026.

Airlines Operating from MTN

Martin State has no scheduled passenger airlines. Traffic comes from corporate flight departments, on demand jet charter operators, three flight schools (Middle River Aviation, First Class Flight Academy and Brett Aviation), the Maryland State Police Aviation Command, Baltimore County and Baltimore City police helicopters, medevac units and the 175th Wing of the Maryland Air National Guard at Warfield Air National Guard Base. U.S. Customs and Border Protection has processed international general aviation arrivals here since 2016.

Domestic Destinations

Because every flight is private or charter, destinations depend on who is flying. Typical same day business routes link MTN with Teterboro and White Plains for New York meetings, Hanscom Field outside Boston, Charlotte, Atlanta and the Florida business airports around Palm Beach and Naples. Weekend charters favor Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Hilton Head and the Outer Banks.

Terminal Information

There is one passenger building: the administration building and FBO at the end of Wilson Point Road, operated directly by the Maryland Aviation Administration. The FBO opens from 6:00 am to 9:00 pm daily, with early or late handling available on 24 hours notice. Inside you will find a pilot and passenger lounge, a snooze room, a conference room with video conferencing, refreshments, a computer and printer and 24 hour surveillance. The Glenn L. Martin Maryland Aviation Museum sits at the southeast corner of the field beside the old seaplane ramps.

Passenger Traffic

MTN logs roughly 80,000 aircraft operations a year; the contract tower counted 81,688 movements between May 2025 and April 2026, close to 224 a day. About 258 aircraft are based on the field, among them 19 business jets and 21 helicopters, and general aviation accounts for well over 90 percent of movements. Passenger numbers are not published because there are no airline manifests, which is one reason private chauffeur bookings here are confirmed against tail numbers.

Parking Overview

Vehicle parking is a free open air lot directly in front of the administration building, with overflow space along Wilson Point Road during air shows and museum events. Aircraft ramp parking and heated hangar space are arranged through the FBO. Union Limousine chauffeurs do not need to hunt for a space: they stage in the lot, meet you inside and bring the vehicle to the door the moment your bags come off the aircraft.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

Give your chauffeur the tail number, the FBO contact and an estimated arrival time. With the FBO's approval, vehicles can be brought through to the ramp for planeside loading, which matters for mobility needs, discreet arrivals and heavy baggage. Otherwise the meeting point is the administration building entrance at 701 Wilson Point Rd. Departing passengers are dropped at the same door, and the full list of FBO amenities on the airport site is worth a look if you are waiting on a crew.

Ground Transportation Options

The MARC Penn Line stops at Martin State Airport station at 2710 Eastern Boulevard, directly across from the airfield, with 175 park and ride spaces and MTA local buses 23, 24 and 160; service north of Baltimore Penn Station is limited, so check the timetable before relying on it. Rental cars must be reserved by the passenger, the FBO runs a courtesy van for short hops, and rideshare coverage in Middle River thins out after dark. A prebooked chauffeur removes the guesswork.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Share any schedule change with both the FBO and your chauffeur; private arrivals can move by hours
  • Check the Baltimore Washington forecast before you depart, since Chesapeake Bay crosswinds and fog can hold aircraft on approach
  • International arrivals clear U.S. Customs at MTN, so allow time for the inspection before your car is loaded
  • Ask for planeside pickup in advance; ramp access needs FBO clearance on the day
  • Keep the MTN phone number handy for after hours FBO requests

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at MTN?

Timing That Follows the Aircraft

Taxis do not queue at a general aviation field, and rideshare drivers accept the trip only once you have touched down and requested it. A prebooked chauffeur is already on the lot, tracking the flight, so you walk out and leave.

Pricing Fixed Before the Flight

Dynamic pricing spikes during storms and evening peaks. Our quote is set when you book and covers tolls, the waiting time built into the plan and the chauffeur's gratuity.

One Point of Contact for the Whole Day

From the ramp to the final meeting and back, one coordinator handles the schedule, vehicle changes and any extra stops, so your assistant makes a single call.

Yes, when the FBO approves ramp access for that arrival. Tell us at booking and we coordinate the clearance; otherwise your chauffeur waits inside the administration building entrance.

About ten miles. Most transfers to the Inner Harbor, Harbor East or Johns Hopkins take 20 to 30 minutes via Eastern Boulevard and Interstate 95, longer during the evening rush.

We do. Give us the tail number and operator, and dispatch follows the flight in real time, moving your pickup earlier or later without any extra call from you.

No. MTN serves corporate, charter, training, police and military aircraft only. Passengers needing a commercial flight usually connect through BWI Marshall, about 30 miles away.

The transfer is quoted as a flat rate based on vehicle type, with tolls and gratuity included. Request a quote with your date and passenger count for the exact figure.

A Sprinter van seats up to 14 with luggage, so one vehicle handles the whole party. Larger groups move to a party bus or a mini charter bus seating up to 35.

Yes. The FBO opens late or early with 24 hours notice, and our reservation desk runs around the clock, so a midnight arrival can still have a chauffeur waiting.

Regularly. The run to APG takes about 35 minutes, and our chauffeurs are familiar with visitor gate procedures and the identification checks contractors go through.

Yes. The surface lot in front of the administration building is free, though with a prebooked chauffeur you never need to park because the car is staged for you.

Twenty four hours covers most sedan and SUV bookings. Reserve stretch limousines, Sprinters and buses a week ahead, and earlier for spring weddings and prom season.
