What we offer

Heber Springs Municipal (HBZ) Airport Limo Service

Wedding parties and corporate flight departments choose Heber Springs Municipal (HBZ) Airport Limo Service for stretch limos, Sprinter vans and coaches that meet private aircraft at the terminal door.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Heber Springs Municipal (HBZ) Airport

Private pilots, lake house owners and corporate flight departments pick Heber Springs Municipal (HBZ) Airport when they want wheels down a few minutes from Greers Ferry Lake. Our Heber Springs Municipal (HBZ) Airport Limo Service meets every arrival at the terminal door of this Cleburne County field, loads luggage, rods or golf bags, and heads for the lake, the Little Red River or the Little Rock metro. The HBZ run is part of our statewide Arkansas airport limo service, so each booking comes with tail number tracking, a licensed chauffeur and a detailed vehicle waiting before the propeller stops.

Why Fly Private into Heber Springs and Ride with Us?

Heber Springs sits in the foothills of the Ozarks about 65 miles north of Little Rock, and the 4,002 foot runway at HBZ handles piston singles, turboprops and light jets without the ramp queues of a large hub. Union Limousine turns that quiet arrival into a complete door to door plan. The chauffeur waits inside the keypad terminal with a name board, keeps the cabin cooled through August and warmed through January, and already knows which lake roads drop cell coverage on the way out to Eden Isle, Fairfield Bay or Tumbling Shoals.

Who Relies on HBZ Limo Transfers?

  • Anglers chasing trout on the Little Red River tailwater below Greers Ferry Dam
  • Wedding parties staying at lakeside venues around Eden Isle and the Red Apple Inn
  • Executives calling on manufacturers, clinics and banks in Heber Springs, Searcy and Conway
  • Families opening lake homes for Memorial Day through Labor Day
  • Golf foursomes and reunion groups booked at Fairfield Bay and Greers Ferry resorts

Fleet Choices for Every Arkansas Group Size

Each vehicle class below is sized for the passenger count and the luggage that usually comes with it. Tell us how many people step off the aircraft and what they are carrying, and we assign the right class.

Sedans: Up to 3 Passengers

Executive sedans suit a single traveler or a couple with two checked bags. Typical uses include quick transfers to a Heber Springs office, dinner reservations on the lake and same day trips to meetings in Little Rock or Conway.

SUVs: Up to 6 Passengers

Full size SUVs carry up to six with room for coolers, waders and rod tubes. Fishing parties, families with car seats and small leadership teams book SUVs most often for lake house arrivals.

Stretch Limousines: Up to 20 Passengers

Stretch limousines seat 8 to 20 depending on the model. They are the usual pick for weddings at lakeside chapels, milestone anniversaries, prom nights and bachelorette arrivals that want the celebration to start at the ramp.

Sprinter Vans: Up to 14 Passengers

Sprinter vans fit 8 to 14 with upright seating, tall headroom and a rear cargo bay. Corporate retreats, guided fishing groups, church delegations and youth sports teams use them for comfortable rides across Cleburne County.

Party Buses: Up to 30 Passengers

Party buses carry 15 to 30 with perimeter seating, lighting and sound. Lake weekend birthday groups, bachelor parties and holiday light tours through Heber Springs and Searcy book them by the hour.

Mini Charter Buses: Up to 35 Passengers

Mini coaches seat 24 to 35 with forward facing seats and underfloor luggage space. They work well for family reunions, tournament teams and conference shuttles between the airport, Greers Ferry Lake lodging and Conway campuses.

Full Size Charter Buses: Up to 56 Passengers

Full size motorcoaches carry 40 to 56 with restrooms, climate control and luggage bays. Large church trips, company outings and multi day Ozark tours that begin or end at HBZ rely on this class.

Heber Springs Municipal (HBZ) Airport: Premium Airport Guide

Quick Reference

  • Airport name: Heber Springs Municipal (HBZ) Airport, also recorded by the FAA as Charlie Evans Field
  • Airport code: HBZ (ICAO KHBZ)
  • Address: 2111 Heber Airport Rd, Heber Springs, AR 72543, United States
  • Phone: +1 501 362 3294
  • Official website: City of Heber Springs airport page

History and Importance of the Airport

The City of Heber Springs activated the airport in October 1968 as a general aviation field two miles northeast of the central business district. It appears in the FAA National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems as a general aviation airport, which keeps it eligible for federal improvement grants. In July 2026 the FAA record was amended to Heber Springs Municipal Airport/Charlie Evans Field, honoring Charles Evans, who managed the field for many years. The airport now operates under manager Brent Johnston on roughly 109 acres at 632 feet above sea level. For lake tourism, second home owners and the businesses of Cleburne County, HBZ is the fastest way in and out of north central Arkansas.

Airlines Operating from HBZ

No scheduled airline serves Heber Springs Municipal. The field is used by private owners, corporate flight departments, air charter operators and air taxi services. Travelers who need airline tickets fly into Clinton National (LIT) in Little Rock, about an hour and a quarter by road, or Northwest Arkansas National (XNA) for the Bentonville corridor, and we cover transfers from both.

Domestic Destinations

Because every flight is private or chartered, destinations are set by the aircraft owner. Common origins for arrivals we meet include Dallas, Houston, Memphis, St. Louis, Kansas City and Tulsa, all within easy reach of a turboprop or light jet. Pilots use RNAV GPS approaches to Runway 06 and Runway 24, and Memphis Center provides approach and departure services on the Brinkley frequency.

Terminal Information

A single terminal building stands at 2111 Airport Rd and is open 24 hours a day through a keypad entry system, while the airport office is staffed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. FAA records list field attendance from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Runway 06/24 measures 4,002 by 75 feet of asphalt in good condition, carries two light PAPI slope guidance on each end, and has medium intensity edge lights plus runway end identifier lights that pilots activate on the common frequency 122.7. There is no control tower, and the two runway ends do not have line of sight, so arriving crews announce position early.

Passenger Traffic

The most recent FAA survey on file counted about 19,500 aircraft movements a year, close to 53 a day, with 97 percent of that activity general aviation and the balance air taxi. Twenty nine aircraft were based on the field at that count, most of them single engine, and flight instruction and aircraft rental are offered on site. Activity peaks from spring through early autumn when lake traffic and trout season draw the largest number of visiting aircraft.

Parking Overview

Vehicle parking at the terminal is free and sits a short walk from the ramp. Aircraft parking is by tiedown, and the airport charges no landing fee. Self service 100LL and Jet A are available around the clock with a credit card, and major airframe and powerplant repair is listed on the field. Private vehicles may be left for extended trips, though owners should tell the airport office in advance.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

For arrivals, your chauffeur parks beside the terminal and waits inside or at the keypad door with a name board. For departures, the vehicle pulls to the same entrance so bags move straight to the aircraft. Heber Airport Rd sees deer at dawn and dusk, so chauffeurs drive the last stretch at reduced speed. Downtown Heber Springs is about ten minutes away, and the lake marinas are fifteen.

Ground Transportation Options

There is no bus route, taxi stand or rental counter at the airport, and rideshare drivers are scarce in Cleburne County. The Heber Springs Area Chamber of Commerce publishes maps and directions for the lake region, which helps with planning but does not put a driver at the terminal. A reserved chauffeur is the dependable way to leave HBZ.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Send your tail number and estimated arrival so we can track the flight and adjust the pickup time
  • Cell coverage fades on some lake roads, so confirm the destination address before wheels up
  • Pack waders, coolers and rod tubes separately so they load quickly into the cargo area
  • Summer weekends fill lake lodging and marinas, so reserve the return transfer at the same time
  • Ask for a stop at a grocery or bait shop in town before heading out to a lake house

Why a Pre Booked Chauffeur Beats Taxi and Rideshare Apps?

An app request from a quiet airfield can sit unanswered for half an hour, and a surge price or a cancellation leaves a group standing on the ramp with coolers and luggage. A pre booked chauffeur from Union Limousine is confirmed days ahead, matched to your flight, and backed by dispatch staff who reach you if weather changes the plan. You get a fixed quote, a vehicle sized for your party and a driver who knows the lake roads.

Local Areas and Venues We Serve from HBZ

Greers Ferry Lake and the Little Red River

Most HBZ arrivals are headed for the water. Greers Ferry Lake spreads over 30,000 acres with 18 shoreline parks, campgrounds and marinas managed by the Army Corps of Engineers, and the dam at Round Mountain was dedicated by President Kennedy in 1963. Below the dam, the Little Red River tailwater is one of the best known trout fisheries in the South, and our SUVs carry anglers to the guide docks and resorts near the dam in about twenty minutes.

Heber Springs, Cleburne County and Beyond

In town we deliver guests to Spring Park, Sandy Beach, Bridal Veil Falls, the Cleburne County Courthouse square and the Sugarloaf Mountain trailhead. Longer trips run to Harding University in Searcy, the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Batesville and the folk music venues of Mountain View. Our limo service in Arkansas covers every county from the Ozarks to the Delta, so one chauffeur can carry you through the whole itinerary.

Nearby Airports We Connect with HBZ

Searcy Regional, Batesville Regional and Clinton Municipal are each about 22 nautical miles from Heber Springs, and crews often reposition between them when a hangar fills. Our Searcy Municipal (SRC) Airport limo service and the LIT transfer team share the same dispatch, so a flight diverted to another field still gets its chauffeur. For hourly bookings that start at the terminal and move through several lake stops, the as directed car service at HBZ keeps one vehicle and driver with you all day.

How Pricing and Scheduling Work at HBZ?

Flat Rate Airport Transfers

Transfers between HBZ and any address in Cleburne County, Searcy, Conway or Little Rock are quoted as a flat rate that includes tolls, fuel and standard wait time. Union Limousine confirms the figure in writing before the trip, and it does not move with traffic or weather.

Flight Tracking and Wait Time

Dispatch follows your tail number from takeoff, so an early landing or a weather hold changes the pickup time automatically with no extra charge for the first hour of delay.

Hourly and Multi Stop Service

Groups touring the lake, visiting several job sites or attending a wedding weekend can keep a vehicle on the clock. Hourly rates begin with a short minimum, and larger groups can pair a chauffeured SUV with a Sprinter van service in Arkansas so luggage and passengers travel together.

Corporate Accounts

Flight departments that use HBZ regularly can open an account with monthly invoicing, passenger profiles and standing preferences for vehicle class and meeting points.

Reserve Your Heber Springs Airport Limo Today

Lake weekends, trout openers and wedding dates fill the Heber Springs calendar fast, and the vehicle you want is easier to secure a week out than the night before. Book with Union Limousine online or by phone, share your tail number and arrival window, and a confirmation with the chauffeur name and vehicle details follows within minutes. Every limo service reservation at HBZ is tracked by dispatch until the final drop off, so you can focus on the water, the meeting or the celebration ahead.
