What we offer

North Las Vegas (VGT) Airport Limo Service

Charter passengers, flight crews, and sightseeing groups arriving at VGT can book one sedan or a full size coach. Our North Las Vegas (VGT) Airport limo service reaches Nellis, Aliante, and Henderson.

Stretch Limo Service to and from North Las Vegas (VGT) Airport

Private aircraft, charter flights, and flight school traffic keep North Las Vegas Airport moving from early morning until late at night, and the passengers stepping off those aircraft deserve ground transportation that matches the standard of the flight. Our North Las Vegas (VGT) Airport limo service places a professional chauffeur in the FBO lobby or on the ramp before your aircraft shuts down, with a jet black vehicle ready to roll toward downtown Las Vegas, the Strip, Summerlin, or Henderson. As part of our wider Nevada airport limo service, every VGT reservation includes tail number tracking, a personal meet and greet, luggage handling, and a fixed price agreed before the trip begins.

Why Travelers in Nevada, NV Choose Our VGT Airport Limo Service?

General aviation passengers arrive on their own schedule, and a chauffeur who understands that schedule is the difference between a smooth transfer and a frustrating wait on Airport Drive. Union Limousine has served business aviation clients since 1997, and that experience shapes how we handle every VGT pickup: the chauffeur confirms the FBO, checks the ATIS and tower hours, monitors the inbound flight, and positions the vehicle so your walk from the aircraft to the car is measured in steps. Each trip is a private limo service with no shared rides, no surge pricing, and no guessing about who will show up.

Executive Pickups Timed to Your Tail Number

Give us the tail number or charter operator and we follow the aircraft in real time. If your Citation or King Air diverts to Henderson Executive because of a special event parking restriction, the chauffeur repositions without a phone call from you. Early arrivals are met early, late arrivals are met late, and the quoted price stays the same either way.

One Chauffeur, One Vehicle, One Price

Every quote we issue for a VGT transfer is all inclusive: chauffeur, fuel, tolls where they apply, airport fees, gratuity options, and waiting time within the standard window. The vehicle you reserve is the vehicle that arrives, prepared, detailed, and stocked with bottled water. Corporate travelers receive a single itemized receipt that drops cleanly into an expense report.

Service Options at North Las Vegas Airport

  • Arrival transfers from the FBO terminal or directly from the ramp to any address in the Las Vegas Valley
  • Departure transfers with pickup timing built around your filed departure slot and tower operating hours
  • Hourly chauffeur bookings for crews, executives, and VIP guests who need a car on standby between meetings
  • Group arrivals coordinated across multiple aircraft, with Sprinter vans and coaches staged at the terminal
  • Transfers between VGT, Harry Reid International, Henderson Executive, and Boulder City Municipal
  • Event ground transportation for NBAA BACE, race weekends, conventions, and major Strip residencies

Corporate Accounts and Repeat Travel

Flight departments, charter brokers, and executive assistants can open a corporate account with stored passenger profiles, preferred vehicle types, and monthly billing. Once a profile is set, a new VGT booking takes under a minute by phone, email, or online form.

Hourly Chauffeur Rates for Local Travel

Hourly reservations start at a three hour minimum and cover unlimited stops across Clark County. Crews on a quick turn often book a sedan for the duration of the ground time, keeping the chauffeur close to the FBO for a fast return to the aircraft.

Destinations We Serve from North Las Vegas Airport

VGT sits at the intersection of Rancho Drive and Carey Avenue, about three miles northwest of downtown Las Vegas and eight miles from the center of the Strip. That position makes it the closest airfield to Fremont Street, the Arts District, the Las Vegas Convention Center, and the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health. Our chauffeurs also run regular trips to Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Nellis Air Force Base, Aliante, Centennial Hills, and the Craig Road business corridor, all inside the City of North Las Vegas and its immediate neighbors. For addresses farther out, our Clark County car service covers Summerlin, Henderson, Boulder City, Mesquite, and Laughlin at the same fixed rate structure.

Connecting to Other Southern Nevada Airports

Many VGT passengers continue on a commercial flight the same day. We schedule direct transfers to Harry Reid International, roughly 20 minutes away by Interstate 15, and to Henderson Executive on the south side of the valley. Clients who prefer to fly commercial into the main airport and catch a private flight out of VGT can pair this page with our Harry Reid International Airport limo service and keep the same chauffeur for both legs. Statewide coverage through our Nevada limo service extends to Reno, Carson City, Elko, and Lake Tahoe for multi city itineraries.

North Las Vegas (VGT) Airport Information Guide

The details below help first time visitors understand what to expect at Nevada's busiest general aviation airport and how our chauffeurs operate within it.

Airport Details

  • Airport Name: North Las Vegas Airport
  • Airport Code: VGT (IATA), KVGT (ICAO)
  • Address: 2730 Airport Dr, North Las Vegas, NV 89032, United States
  • Phone: +1 702 261 3801
  • Official Website: vgt.aero
  • Owner and Operator: Clark County Department of Aviation

History and Importance of North Las Vegas Airport

The airfield opened on December 7, 1941 as Sky Haven Airport, founded by aviation enthusiasts Verald "Bud" Barrett and J.M. and Florence Murphy. News of the attack on Pearl Harbor arrived during the opening celebration and the planned flying demonstration was cancelled. During the war years the field served civilian pilots and off duty flyers from the Las Vegas Army Air Base, and Howard Hughes was a frequent visitor. Wes Durston renamed it Thunderbird Field in the 1950s, the runways were paved in the early 1960s, and Clark County purchased the airport in 1987. A 15,600 square foot terminal followed in 1992, and the county has since invested roughly 40 million dollars in the facility. Today VGT covers 920 acres at an elevation of 2,205 feet with three runways, and the Nevada Department of Transportation Aviation Program lists it as a primary general aviation airport in the state system. Its central job is to pull small aircraft away from Harry Reid International so commercial airliners enjoy more airspace capacity, while also hosting Las Vegas Metropolitan Police air patrols and air ambulance flights.

Airlines and Flight Operations at VGT

North Las Vegas Airport has no scheduled passenger airlines. The traffic mix is made up of private owners, corporate flight departments, air charter and air taxi operators, sightseeing tour companies, helicopter operators, and eight based flight schools. FAA records show close to 20,000 air taxi operations a year alongside heavy local training activity, which is why passengers on a charter arrival are often sharing the pattern with Cessna and Diamond trainers.

Domestic Destinations

With no airline timetable, destinations are set by the operator. Common charter routings from VGT include Los Angeles area airports such as Van Nuys and Burbank, Scottsdale, Salt Lake City, Aspen, Palm Springs, San Diego, and the Grand Canyon region. Jet charters reach Dallas, Denver, Chicago, and both coasts nonstop. Because of the proximity to downtown, many operators choose VGT over the main airport for quick turns into the city.

Terminal Information

The single FBO terminal is operated by the county and was fully remodeled in 2019, the same year it earned Air Elite Diamond Service status. Inside, passengers and crews find a pilots lounge with satellite television, a weather briefing room, complimentary high speed WiFi, catering storage, a 65 person Grand Canyon meeting room, a 20 seat conference room, and the Sunshine and Tailwinds Cafe. The terminal amenities page includes a virtual tour. The airport itself is open 24 hours, the FBO staffs the desk from 5:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. year round, and the control tower runs 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from April through September and 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. from October through March. After hours security access to the terminal is available for a fee.

Passenger Traffic

Activity is measured in aircraft movements, since there are no airline enplanements to count. In 2024 the airport logged 228,424 takeoffs and landings, an 18.5 percent increase on the prior year and the first time since 2007 that VGT crossed 200,000 operations. That volume makes it the second busiest airport in Nevada and one of the busiest general aviation fields in the United States. Nearly 700 aircraft are based on the field, and 25 commercial businesses operate from its hangars and ramps.

Parking Overview

Vehicle parking is a free surface lot directly in front of the terminal, with no garage, no long term lot, and no reservation system. Aircraft parking is arranged through the FBO, and during high profile weeks such as NBAA BACE, the Las Vegas Grand Prix, and major fight nights, a prior permission required program applies to transient aircraft. Passengers who arrive by chauffeur avoid the lot entirely, which matters when a convention week fills every space before noon.

Pickup and Drop Off Guidance

Our chauffeurs meet arriving passengers inside the FBO lobby by default, holding a name sign and ready to take luggage. Ramp side pickup beside the aircraft can be arranged in advance through the FBO desk for clients who prefer to go straight from the cabin door to the car. For departures, the chauffeur pulls up to the terminal entrance on Airport Drive, unloads bags, and confirms the aircraft is ready before leaving. We recommend sharing the operator name and tail number at booking so the FBO can direct the car to the correct side of the building.

Ground Transportation Options

Rental cars can be arranged through the FBO with advance notice, and taxis and rideshare drivers are dispatched on request, though response times to the north valley vary widely at night. Public transit is provided by the Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, whose routes along Rancho Drive and Decatur Boulevard connect to the Bonneville Transit Center downtown, although there is no stop inside the airport grounds. A prebooked chauffeur is the only option that guarantees a vehicle waiting at the door the moment the aircraft parks.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Confirm which FBO desk your operator uses so the chauffeur is waiting at the right entrance
  • Share your tail number or charter confirmation and we will track the aircraft from wheels up
  • Check tower hours when scheduling a late departure, since the field reverts to pilot controlled operations after closing
  • Expect heavy training traffic on weekday mornings and plan a few extra minutes for taxi time
  • Hydrate on summer days; the terminal apron routinely exceeds 100 degrees from June through September
  • Allow 20 to 25 minutes to the Strip during peak hours and about 10 minutes to downtown Las Vegas

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats a Taxi or Rideshare at VGT?

Taxis rarely stage at a general aviation terminal, and rideshare drivers in the north valley frequently cancel when they see a short trip or an unfamiliar airfield. A reservation with Union Limousine removes that uncertainty: the chauffeur is on site before the aircraft lands, the vehicle is licensed for commercial airport pickups, and the fare was agreed before you left your origin city. Clients who need a sedan for a quick downtown run can also book our VGT airport car service for a lighter option with the same chauffeur standards.

By default the chauffeur waits inside the FBO lobby with a name sign. If you prefer to be met at the aircraft, let us know when booking and we will coordinate ramp access with the FBO desk.

Yes. Ramp side pickups are arranged in advance through the FBO. The chauffeur follows the escort rules of the airport and loads luggage directly from the aircraft hold into the vehicle.

The center of the Strip is about eight miles south, typically 20 to 25 minutes by Interstate 15 in normal traffic. Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street are roughly 10 minutes away.

We track every aircraft by tail number or operator flight reference. Early and late arrivals adjust the pickup automatically, and the quoted price does not change.

Sprinter vans seat up to 14, party buses up to 30, mini coaches up to 35, and full size charter buses up to 56. Multiple vehicles can be staged for large charter arrivals.

No. Flight delays are covered by our tracking policy. Waiting time only applies after the aircraft has parked and the standard complimentary window has passed.

Absolutely. The speedway is about 10 miles northeast of the airport, and we run sedans, SUVs, and coaches for race weekends, with staging areas confirmed in advance.

Yes. Direct transfers between the two airports take around 20 minutes. Many clients fly commercial into the main airport and depart on a private aircraft from VGT the same day.

For NBAA BACE, race weekends, and major conventions, book two to four weeks ahead. Vehicle availability across the valley tightens quickly during those dates.

Yes. Infant, convertible, and booster seats can be added to any sedan, SUV, or Sprinter reservation at no extra charge. Request them when you book.
