Dallas Love Field (DAL) Airport Limo Service
Weddings, conventions, and game weekends arrive together at Love Field. With Dallas Love Field (DAL) Airport Limo Service, we match party buses, Sprinter vans, and coaches to your group and your bags.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Dallas Love Field (DAL) Airport
Six miles from downtown, Dallas Love Field moves close to 17 million passengers a year through one compact terminal, and most of them walk out of baggage claim needing a ride. We provide Dallas Love Field (DAL) Airport limo service for travelers across Texas, TX who want a chauffeur already waiting, a vehicle sized to the group, and a fare agreed before the wheels turn. Our Texas airport limo service covers Love Field with the same standard we hold at every terminal in the state, and Union Limousine has delivered that standard since 1997.
Chauffeured Rides to and from Dallas Love Field
Love Field sits in the middle of the Dallas map, which is exactly why so many flyers choose it over the larger airport out in Grapevine. A chauffeured car turns that short distance into a quiet, predictable ride. Our limo service in Texas staff drivers who know the Lemmon Avenue and Mockingbird Lane approaches, the Dallas North Tollway timing, and the back routes into Uptown when Interstate 35E backs up. Frequent Southwest flyers and wedding parties headed for a weekend in Highland Park get the same attention, and we treat each reservation as its own plan.
Neighborhoods and Cities We Serve from DAL
A dedicated car service in Dallas needs to reach the whole metro, and ours does. Common Love Field runs include:
- Downtown Dallas, the Arts District, and the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center
- Uptown, Victory Park, and American Airlines Center
- Highland Park, University Park, and Preston Hollow
- Las Colinas, Irving, and the Las Colinas corporate campuses
- Plano, Frisco, and the Legacy business district
- Fort Worth, Arlington, and AT&T Stadium
- Southwestern Medical District and UT Southwestern campus visits
Landmarks a Short Drive from the Terminal
Love Field is barely 15 minutes from the campus of Southern Methodist University and the George W. Bush Presidential Library, which keeps our chauffeurs busy with campus tours, graduation weekends, and visiting faculty. Bachman Lake borders the airfield on the north side, the Dallas Market Center and the Medical District are a few exits south, and Fair Park is a direct run east along Interstate 30 during the State Fair of Texas each autumn.
Occasions We Handle from Love Field
- Executive transfers to client offices, law firms, and headquarters in Uptown and Plano
- Group arrivals for conventions, trade shows, and corporate retreats
- Weddings, rehearsal dinners, and guest shuttles between hotels and venues
- Game days at American Airlines Center, Globe Life Field, and AT&T Stadium
- Hospital and clinic visits in the Southwestern Medical District
- Cruise connections to the Port of Galveston for sailings out of Texas
We also run cross airport transfers for passengers who land at Love Field and depart from the international terminal. Our DFW airport limo service and our Love Field team coordinate on the same booking, so a chauffeur handles both legs and the handoff never falls on you.
Our Fleet for Love Field Transfers
Every vehicle we send to DAL is late model, detailed before dispatch, and matched to your passenger count and luggage. Capacity guides below assume standard checked bags; tell us about golf clubs, trade show cases, or strollers and we will size up.

History and Importance
Love Field opened on October 19, 1917 as a United States Army flight training base, named for Lieutenant Moss L. Love. The city bought the airfield in the late 1920s, paved its first runways in 1932, and by the 1960s it was the largest air terminal in the Southwest, the place where Air Force One landed on November 22, 1963. When DFW opened in 1974 the major carriers moved out, and for four decades the Wright Amendment limited Love Field flights to Texas and a handful of neighboring states. That law expired in October 2014, nonstop flights to both coasts returned overnight, and annual traffic doubled within two years. Today the City of Dallas Department of Aviation owns and operates the airport, which is also the birthplace and corporate home of Southwest Airlines.
Airlines Operating from DAL
Southwest Airlines carries roughly 98 percent of Love Field passengers and leases 19 of the 20 gates, running a schedule that starts before dawn and ends after midnight. Delta Air Lines operates the remaining gate with daily service to Atlanta. JSX, the semi private jet carrier, flies from its own lounge style terminal on the airfield and never uses the public gates at the main concourse. Alaska Airlines ended its Love Field flights in May 2025, so Southwest and Delta are the only airlines at the main terminal.
Domestic Destinations
Federal law restricts Love Field to domestic nonstop flights, and the network is wide. Houston Hobby is the busiest route, followed by Denver, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Orlando, Atlanta, San Antonio, Nashville, Chicago Midway, and New Orleans. Southwest also flies nonstop to Boston, New York LaGuardia, Washington National, Baltimore, Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, and Salt Lake City, with seasonal service to Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, and Fort Myers. Texas flyers can reach Austin, El Paso, Lubbock, Amarillo, Midland, and Harlingen without leaving the state.
Terminal Information
Love Field has a single terminal with 20 gates numbered 1 through 20, all behind one security checkpoint. Ticketing and the checkpoint sit on the upper level; baggage claim, rental car desks, and the ground transportation drive are on the lower level. Garages A and B connect to the terminal by a Skybridge on their third level, and a second Skybridge from Garage C bypasses the ticketing wing for passengers who already have a mobile boarding pass. The concourse holds local restaurants, a Southwest customer service center, and the bronze plaque marking where Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn in aboard Air Force One.
Passenger Traffic
The FAA counted 16,899,203 passengers at DAL in 2025, with 8.4 million enplanements, making it one of the busiest single terminal airports in the country. The record year was 2023 at 17.6 million, and the airport has announced a long range expansion plan valued at 2.5 billion dollars to handle the growth. Peak days fall around Thanksgiving, the State Fair, and major sporting events at the Arlington stadiums, which is when a reserved chauffeur matters most.
Parking Overview
Three garages and a valet lane offer about 12,000 spaces, and the airport is landlocked, so they fill on holiday weekends. Garage rates at Love Field rose in October 2024 and are now the following per day:
Daily Garage Rates
- Garage A, all levels, 24 dollars, about a five minute walk to the ticketing hall
- Garage B, 18 dollars uncovered or 21 dollars covered, about an eight minute walk
- Garage C, 20 dollars uncovered, 21 dollars covered, 30 dollars on the premium level, about four minutes to ticketing
- Contactless valet, 35 dollars, connected directly to the ticketing hall
Free Pickup Window
The first 59 minutes in Garage C are free on levels 1, 2, and 4 through 7, which is how most families collect an arriving passenger. Parking is capped at 60 days, and NTTA TollTag holders can pay on exit without stopping at a kiosk.
Garage Height Clearances
All three garages clear 8 feet 2 inches at the entrance, so lifted trucks, roof boxes, and most Sprinter vans must use the surface curb or valet lane and stay out of the structures.
Pickup and Drop Off Guidance
Departing passengers are dropped on the upper level outside ticketing. Arriving passengers exit baggage claim onto the lower level drive, where taxis, the DART bus, and prearranged chauffeurs load. Rideshare pickups happen at the Transportation Network Center on the southeast corner of the terminal near the valet pavilion, which requires a walk with your bags. A free cell phone waiting lot sits at Hawes Avenue and Herb Kelleher Way for drivers who want to stage until a flight lands. Our chauffeurs meet you inside baggage claim with a name sign or at the lower level curb, whichever you choose at booking.
Ground Transportation Options
Love Field is one of the few Texas airports with a direct rail connection. The DART Love Link bus (Route 5) runs from the lower level to Inwood/Love Field Station at no charge, where the Green and Orange lines continue downtown and the Orange Line reaches DFW Terminal A in about 39 minutes. Taxis queue on the lower level, rideshare apps serve the TNC lot, and rental counters operate near baggage claim. Each of those gets you moving, and a reserved chauffeur adds a specific driver, a specific vehicle, and a fixed price to your itinerary before you board the plane.
Tips for Arriving Passengers
- Double check your airport code. DAL is Love Field in the city; DFW is 20 miles northwest between Dallas and Fort Worth.
- Southwest bags come out quickly at Love Field, so have your chauffeur staged before you land.
- Weekday afternoons on Mockingbird Lane and Interstate 35E are slow; allow 30 to 40 minutes to Plano or Frisco.
- Thunderstorms in spring stack delays across Southwest's network, and we track every inbound flight so the car adjusts with you.
- Garage C offers the free 59 minute window if a friend is collecting you, but the TNC lot does not.
Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at DAL?
Surge pricing at Love Field follows the Southwest bank structure, so a 5 p.m. arrival on a Thursday can cost double what the app quoted on Tuesday. A prebooked chauffeur locks the fare in advance, tracks the flight, and waits at the curb or in baggage claim with no walk to a remote lot. Our drivers are commercially insured, background checked, and familiar with the terminal layout, and the vehicle is confirmed by make and capacity when you book, which matters when nine people and a dozen bags step off one flight. For corporate travelers, a single receipt and a named driver also make expense reporting painless.
Why Choose Us for Love Field Limo Service?
Our limo service runs on flight tracking, dispatch oversight, and chauffeurs who are paid to wait patiently at the curb. Pricing is flat and quoted up front, with tolls and gratuity shown as clear line items on the confirmation. Every DAL airport car service booking includes a 60 minute complimentary wait on domestic arrivals, real time text updates with the chauffeur's name and plate, and a 24/7 reservation desk that answers the phone. Union Limousine also supports standing accounts for companies that send staff through Love Field every week, with consolidated monthly billing and a dedicated coordinator.
How Booking Works
Reserve online or by phone with Union Limousine in a few minutes. Share your flight number, passenger count, luggage, and destination, pick a vehicle class, and receive a written confirmation with the all inclusive rate. Frequently Asked Questions
Explore our FAQs to learn more about our luxury fleet, professional chauffeurs, airport transfers, reservations, and private transportation services designed for a comfortable and seamless travel experience.
By default the chauffeur waits inside baggage claim on the lower level holding a sign with your name. If you prefer a curbside pickup, we position the car on the lower level drive and text you the spot and plate number as you taxi to the gate.
Sedans and SUVs can usually be confirmed with a few hours' notice. Stretch limousines, Sprinter vans, and buses should be reserved at least 48 hours ahead, and a week or longer during the State Fair, Thanksgiving, and major game weekends in Arlington.
Yes. Dispatch monitors every inbound flight by number. If weather in Denver or Houston pushes your arrival back two hours, the chauffeur's schedule shifts with it, and the complimentary wait period starts from the actual landing time.
Stretch limousines and larger vehicles stage on the lower level commercial lane or at a nearby staging point, then pull to the curb once the party is ready. Your chauffeur coordinates the timing by text so nobody stands outside with luggage.
The six mile run to downtown or Uptown is one of our lowest airport fares in Texas. Exact pricing depends on vehicle class and time of day, and every quote is all inclusive, so the figure you accept is the figure on the receipt.
Yes. The two airports are about 20 miles apart, and we handle the cross airport leg often for travelers connecting from a domestic Southwest flight to an international departure. Allow 45 minutes in normal traffic and more during weekday peaks.
No fee applies when the delay is the airline's. Domestic arrivals include 60 minutes of complimentary wait after landing, and because we track the flight, the clock starts when the wheels touch down, whatever the scheduled time said.
Absolutely. Tell us at booking and we assign an SUV, Sprinter van, or a vehicle with a luggage trailer for larger groups. Golf trips to Las Colinas and Frisco, trade show cases, and ski gear bound for the Denver flight are all routine.
Infant, convertible, and booster seats are available on request for sedan and SUV reservations. Note the ages of the children when you book, and the chauffeur installs the seats before arriving at the terminal.
A party bus or a mini charter bus is the right fit for 25 passengers with luggage. For 30 or more we recommend the 35 passenger mini coach or the 56 passenger full size coach, both of which load at the lower level commercial lane.
