What we offer

Lopez Island (LPS) Airport Limo Service

Wedding parties, retreat groups, and families heading to the San Juans can count on our Lopez Island (LPS) Airport limo service, with sedans, SUVs, and Sprinter vans timed to every flight and sailing.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Lopez Island (LPS) Airport

Flying into the San Juan Islands puts you on a quiet runway three miles south of Lopez Village, and the ride that follows matters as much as the flight. Our Washington airport limo service meets passengers at Lopez Island (LPS) Airport with a professional chauffeur, a clean vehicle, and a plan built around island ferries, Kenmore Air timetables, and the slower pace of Lopez roads. Union Limousine handles private arrivals, family reunions, wedding parties, and corporate retreats across Washington, WA, so your trip starts on schedule and stays calm from the tarmac to your door.

Why Travelers Book a Private Chauffeur at Lopez Island Airport?

Lopez Island has no rental car counters and no public bus system. That single fact shapes every arrival at LPS. Once a small aircraft taxis to the apron, you either have a ride waiting or you start making phone calls. We remove that uncertainty by confirming your flight details in advance and staging a chauffeur at the terminal before you touch down.

  • Flight tracking for San Juan Airlines, Kenmore Air Express, and private charter arrivals
  • Meet and greet service at the terminal door with full luggage help
  • Ferry aware scheduling for the Anacortes route and interisland sailings
  • Fixed quotes with no surge pricing during busy summer weekends
  • Licensed chauffeurs who know the narrow shoulders and quiet farm roads of Lopez

Island Transfers From LPS to Lopez Village, Fisherman Bay, and the Ferry Landing

Most trips from the airport run north to Lopez Village, where cafes, galleries, and lodging line the shore of Fisherman Bay. Others head to rental homes near Islandale on the south end, or to the Washington State Ferries terminal at the north tip of the island for an onward sailing. Our chauffeurs plan these short runs around departure times so you reach the holding lane with margin to spare.

Mainland Connections at Boeing Field and SeaTac

Kenmore Air Express flights from Lopez arrive at King County International Airport in Seattle. When your itinerary continues on a commercial jet, our Boeing Field limo service can collect you at the Kenmore terminal and carry you to Seattle Tacoma International, a downtown hotel, or a Bellevue office. Travelers who prefer the ferry route can book a chauffeur from the Anacortes terminal for the drive south on Interstate 5.

Lopez Island (LPS) Airport Information Guide

Before you fly, here are the key facts about the field and how arrivals work on the island.

  • Airport Name: Lopez Island (LPS) Airport
  • Airport Code: LPS (FAA identifier S31)
  • Owner and Operator: Port of Lopez
  • Address: 672 Airport Rd, Lopez Island, WA 98261, United States
  • Airport Manager Line: +1 360 468 4116
  • Official Airport Website: Port of Lopez airport information

History and Importance of the Airfield

The Port of Lopez owns and operates this public general aviation field, which covers roughly 96 acres on the west side of the island at an elevation of about 209 feet. Its single asphalt runway, 16/34, measures 2,904 feet with a full length parallel taxilane and PAPI and REIL lighting at both ends. The airport belongs to the FAA National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems, which qualifies the Port for federal improvement grants, and islanders count on it for medical flights, mail, freight, and year round passenger service. In October 2026 the Port finished a runway and apron pavement rehabilitation and reopened the field for regular business on October 11.

Airlines and Scheduled Service at LPS

Large jet carriers do not serve Lopez; the field handles small commuter and charter aircraft. Kenmore Air added a once daily wheeled flight between Lopez and Seattle’s Boeing Field beginning November 2, 2025, with an optional shuttle that connects to SeaTac, and the Port advises passengers to reserve ahead so the aircraft is scheduled to stop at Lopez. San Juan Airlines flies small aircraft to Anacortes and Bellingham, and Island Air offers charters across the Salish Sea and into Canada. In warmer months, Kenmore seaplanes use Fisherman Bay, a short drive from the runway, and that seaplane operation pauses each winter.

Domestic Destinations

  • Seattle King County International Airport (Boeing Field) on Kenmore Air Express, with brief Orcas Island and San Juan Island stops on some routings
  • Anacortes and Bellingham on San Juan Airlines
  • Seattle Lake Union by Kenmore seaplane during the summer season
  • Port Townsend, Everett, and Skagit Regional by Island Air charter

Terminal Information

The terminal is a small building with a waiting room, free WiFi, a phone for local and 911 calls, and a restroom with a shower. You will not find TSA checkpoints, baggage carousels, or food concessions. Restaurants and shops sit about three miles away in Lopez Village, and a nine hole golf course borders the airfield.

Passenger Traffic

LPS is a quiet field by any measure. FAA records count roughly 10,000 aircraft operations a year, most of them general aviation, with air taxi flights making up about a quarter of the activity, and around 25 aircraft are based on site. Traffic climbs in July and August, when vacation homes fill and visitors arrive for cycling, kayaking, and summer festivals.

Parking Overview

The Port manages a modest surface area beside the terminal along with aircraft tie downs and hangar rentals. Vehicle parking rates for travelers are not posted online, so anyone planning a long stay should confirm with the airport manager before leaving a car. A chauffeured pickup removes the question entirely.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

Access at LPS is simple. Your chauffeur parks beside the terminal and meets you at the waiting room door, then loads your bags and heads out. For departures, plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes ahead of your flight, since small carriers often ask for passenger and baggage weights before boarding. Seaplanes and low flying aircraft operate west of the field, so pedestrians should stay clear of the taxilane.

Ground Transportation Options

Choices on the island are limited. The Lopez Island Chamber of Commerce tells visitors that the island has no rental cars or public transit and recommends arranging rides before arrival. A local taxi company serves the airport, bicycle rentals operate in the village, and some lodgings run pickups at the ferry terminal. Rideshare coverage is thin on Lopez, which makes a reserved chauffeur the dependable choice for groups, seniors, and anyone carrying luggage.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Book your Kenmore Air Express seat early so the flight is scheduled to stop at Lopez
  • Check the Port of Lopez news page for runway notices before travel day
  • Pack layers, because marine weather around the San Juans changes quickly
  • Reserve vehicle space with Washington State Ferries in summer if your trip continues by car
  • Send your lodging address and any gate code to your chauffeur in advance

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at LPS?

An island taxi may already be committed to a ferry run when your aircraft arrives, and app based cars can take a long time to appear, if they appear at all. A prebooked chauffeur is confirmed before you depart, follows your flight, waits through delays, and charges the quoted rate. Families with car seats, wedding parties with garment bags, and executives who need quiet time to work all benefit from a vehicle that is ready the moment the propeller stops.

Details to Share When You Reserve

  • Carrier, flight number, and expected arrival time
  • Passenger count and number of bags, golf clubs, or bicycles
  • Ferry sailing time if your trip continues to the mainland
  • Destination address and any child seat or accessibility request

Local Areas and Attractions We Serve Near LPS

Lopez is known for flat country roads, farm stands, and rocky shoreline. Our chauffeurs regularly drive guests to Shark Reef Sanctuary, a short trip from the runway, to Spencer Spit State Park and Odlin County Park on the north end, and to Agate Beach and Watmough Bay in the south. Hikers often request a ride to Iceberg Point, part of the San Juan Islands National Monument managed by the Bureau of Land Management. On the mainland side, our Anacortes (OTS) airport limo service picks up ferry and San Juan Airlines passengers for the drive to Bellingham, Mount Vernon, or Seattle.

Weddings, Retreats, and Island Events

Lopez hosts farm weddings, summer retreats, and the annual Tour de Lopez cycling event. Planners coordinating guests who arrive by air and by ferry can book our Lopez Island airport car service for single travelers and reserve Sprinter vans or limousines for the main event day. We build each schedule around ferry sailings so no guest is left waiting at the dock.

Washington Coverage From the Islands to the Mainland

Few trips start and end on Lopez alone. Our Washington limo service covers Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, Bellingham, Spokane, and every major city in the state, and our nationwide limo service lets corporate travel managers book the same standard of chauffeur in other states. Union Limousine keeps one reservation team for all of it, which gives you a single contact for a multicity itinerary.
