What we offer

Buffalo Niagara International (BUF) Airport Charter Bus Service

Flying a team into Buffalo? Our Buffalo Niagara International (BUF) Airport Charter Bus Rental Service seats up to 56 with full luggage bays, tracks your flight, and meets your group in baggage claim.

Charter Bus Rental Service to and from Buffalo Niagara International (BUF) Airport

Landing in Buffalo with a full roster of people gets simple when the bus is already waiting at the curb. Our Buffalo Niagara International (BUF) Airport Charter Bus Rental Service moves corporate teams, wedding parties, sports clubs, school groups, and tour operators between the terminal on Genesee Street and any address across Western New York. The same dispatch desk that runs our New York airport charter bus service out of Manhattan handles every BUF reservation, so groups flying up from New York, NY receive one confirmed vehicle, one chauffeur, and one price, with the inbound flight tracked from pushback to gate.

Why Groups Flying Into Buffalo Book With Union Limousine?

A group arrival at BUF has three failure points: the vehicle shows up late, the vehicle is too small, or the group scatters across four rideshares and reconvenes an hour later at the hotel. We remove all three. Union Limousine confirms the coach in writing, sizes it to the manifest you send, and posts the chauffeur inside baggage claim before the first bag drops onto the carousel.

One Vehicle for the Whole Group

A 40 person delegation from New York, NY should never need eleven separate cars. Our full size coaches carry up to 56 riders with underfloor luggage bays, which means the sales team, the conference materials, and the trade show banners all leave the airport together. Smaller parties get a Sprinter van or a mini coach sized to the headcount, and every option in the lineup is chauffeur driven.

Flight Tracking on Every BUF Pickup

Our dispatch team watches your flight number from the moment it departs JFK, LaGuardia, or Newark. If the aircraft holds in Cheektowaga airspace because of lake effect snow, the chauffeur adjusts. If it lands twenty minutes early, the chauffeur is already inside. Nobody stands on the curb at 4200 Genesee Street phoning a driver who is still on the Kensington Expressway.

Fleet Options for Buffalo Niagara Airport Group Travel

Every vehicle listed below is available for BUF arrivals, departures, round trips to Niagara Falls, and multi day charters that follow your itinerary across the region. Capacities below are passenger counts with luggage.

Vehicle Capacities and Best Uses

  • Sedans, up to 3 passengers: executives, keynote speakers, and couples who want a quiet ride to a downtown hotel.
  • SUVs, up to 6 passengers: families with ski bags, small project teams, and clients who need extra cabin room.
  • Stretch limousines, up to 20 passengers: wedding parties, milestone birthdays, and prom groups arriving for a Buffalo celebration.
  • Sprinter vans, up to 14 passengers: church groups, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, and corporate teams heading to a Niagara retreat.
  • Party buses, up to 30 passengers: brewery crawls, birthday nights out, and Sabres or Bills game day groups landing at BUF.
  • Mini charter buses, up to 35 passengers: college athletic teams, conference cohorts, and cross border shopping tours.
  • Full size charter buses, up to 56 passengers: association meetings, incentive trips, school travel, and tour operators running Buffalo to Toronto loops.

Coaches Built for Western New York Winters

The 56 passenger coach bus in our fleet carries a full luggage bay, reclining seats, onboard restroom, USB power, and climate control that holds up on a January run to Ellicottville. The 36 passenger mini coach suits groups that want the same amenities in a vehicle that can pull into a tighter hotel loop downtown. For celebrations, the 30 passenger party bus adds perimeter seating, LED lighting, and a sound system so the trip from the airport becomes part of the event.

Smaller Vehicles for Advance Teams and VIPs

When the executive lands first and the delegation follows on a later flight, pair a coach with a sedan through our BUF airport car service. Wedding couples and honorees can book a stretch through our BUF airport limo service, and mid sized groups can reserve a BUF Sprinter van rental with the same flight tracking and meet and greet.

Where We Take Groups From BUF?

Buffalo Niagara International sits in Cheektowaga about nine miles east of downtown Buffalo, a few minutes from the New York State Thruway at Exit 51 and the Kensington Expressway. From the terminal, our chauffeurs cover every destination groups from New York, NY typically request.

Downtown Buffalo, Canalside, and the Convention Center

Most corporate charters run straight to the Buffalo Niagara Convention Center, the hotels along Delaware Avenue, or the waterfront district at Canalside. Hockey groups head to the Sabres arena on the lower Main Street corridor, and football fans continue south to the Bills stadium in Orchard Park. Our Erie County car service covers the suburbs beyond the city line, from Amherst and Williamsville to Hamburg and East Aurora.

Niagara Falls and the Canadian Border

Niagara Falls is roughly 25 miles northwest of the terminal, and tour operators regularly book a coach for the full day. Our Niagara Falls State Park car service drops groups at Prospect Point, the Maid of the Mist landing, and Goat Island, and our Niagara County car service continues to Lewiston, Lockport, and the wineries along the Niagara Escarpment. Groups continuing into Ontario cross at the Peace Bridge between Buffalo and Fort Erie or at the Rainbow Bridge in Niagara Falls, and we brief every passenger on document requirements before the coach reaches the plaza.

University at Buffalo and Regional Campuses

The University at Buffalo north campus in Amherst is under fifteen minutes from the airport, which makes BUF the arrival point for visiting athletic teams, admitted student weekends, and academic conferences. We also run charters to Canisius, Daemen, Niagara University, and Buffalo State, with campus loading zones confirmed with the host department before the trip.

Rochester, Erie, and Multi City Charters

When an itinerary continues east on the Thruway, our Rochester airport car service hands the group off at ROC without a second booking, and our Niagara Falls International Airport car service covers charter arrivals at IAG in Niagara Falls. Multi city coaches to Toronto, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, or back toward New York City are quoted as a single itinerary with driver hours and overnight staging included.

How BUF Charter Bus Booking Works?

Send us the flight number, passenger count, luggage estimate, and destination, and we return a written quote within the hour. Union Limousine confirms the vehicle, assigns the chauffeur, and sends the driver's name and mobile number the evening before travel. On arrival day, the chauffeur waits in baggage claim holding a sign with your group name, then walks everyone to the coach staged at the commercial curb. Book directly with Union Limousine and every step above is handled by one team.

Pricing That Covers the Full Trip

Charter quotes for BUF include the vehicle, the chauffeur, fuel, standard tolls, and airport commercial permits. Wait time tied to a flight delay is never billed. You see the complete figure before you approve, and the same rate structure applies to our JFK airport charter bus and LaGuardia airport charter bus pages, so a New York, NY travel manager can budget both ends of a Buffalo trip from one price list.

What Happens If the Flight Is Cancelled

Cancel before the coach departs the garage and there is no charge. If the airline rebooks your group onto a later flight, tell dispatch the new number and the chauffeur shifts with it. Weather at BUF can close runways for hours in winter, and we hold the vehicle for the entire window.

About Buffalo Niagara International (BUF) Airport

Airport Name: Buffalo Niagara International (BUF) Airport. Airport Code: BUF. Address: 4200 Genesee St, Buffalo, NY 14225, United States. Phone: +1 716 630 6000. Official Airport Website: https://buffaloairport.com/

History and Regional Importance

The field opened in 1926 as Buffalo Municipal Airport on two hundred acres of Cheektowaga farmland, and scheduled passenger and airmail flights to Cleveland began in December 1927. Buffalo became an early aviation hub because of its position on the route from New York City to Chicago and because the Curtiss Wright plant next door built thousands of P40 Warhawk fighters during World War II. The Niagara Frontier Port Authority took over the airport in 1956, renamed it Greater Buffalo International in 1959, and the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority has operated it since 1967. The current terminal, inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and shaped like an aircraft when seen from above, opened on November 3, 1997, and the airport is celebrating 100 years of aviation in 2026. Today BUF generates roughly $1.7 billion in annual economic activity and supports close to 12,000 jobs across the region.

Airlines Operating From BUF

Seven passenger carriers serve BUF: American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Frontier Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and Sun Country Airlines on a summer and fall seasonal basis. Ticket counters generally open 90 minutes before the first departure and close after the last flight of the day.

Nonstop Domestic Destinations

The airport offers up to 100 nonstop departures a day to 31 destinations. From New York, NY, travelers can fly nonstop from JFK, LaGuardia, or Newark. Other nonstop markets include Boston, Philadelphia, Washington Reagan and Dulles, Baltimore, Chicago O'Hare and Midway, Detroit, Atlanta, Minneapolis St. Paul, Dallas Fort Worth, Denver, Nashville, Raleigh Durham, Las Vegas, Phoenix, Los Angeles, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Fort Myers, Tampa, Sarasota, Orlando, and San Juan.

Terminal Information

BUF operates a single terminal with east and west concourses that have been extended since the 1997 opening. The lobby is defined by 27,000 square feet of glass and a 50 foot ceiling, with ticketing on the upper level and baggage claim, rental car counters, and ground transportation on the lower level. A single security checkpoint feeds both concourses, and TSA PreCheck is available.

Passenger Traffic

BUF is the busiest airport in Upstate New York and handles well over four million passengers a year, with a large share of travelers crossing from Southern Ontario to use its lower fares and nonstop schedule. Traffic peaks in summer, around Thanksgiving and the December holidays, and on Sabres and Bills game weekends.

Parking Overview

Parking is managed on site and includes short term and long term surface lots, a covered garage close to the terminal, reserved covered spaces that can be booked ahead, a frequent parker express program, and a corporate parking option. A free cell phone lot lets private drivers wait for arriving passengers.

Pickup and Drop Off Guidance

Departures use the upper level curb, and arrivals use the lower level curb outside baggage claim. Charter coaches and limousines operate under the airport's commercial ground transportation program, so our chauffeurs stage in the commercial area and pull to the arrivals curb once the group is assembled. Passengers should text the chauffeur after landing and wait inside at the carousel until the vehicle is called forward.

Ground Transportation Options

BUF is served by rental car agencies, metered taxis, rideshare pickups, shared shuttles, prearranged limousines, scheduled intercity coaches, and public transit buses run by the regional authority, including an express route to downtown Buffalo. Several operators also run cross border service to Fort Erie, Niagara Falls, Ontario, St. Catharines, and Toronto.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Baggage claim, rental cars, and ground transportation are all on the lower level, so follow the signs down after deplaning.
  • Winter arrivals should keep coats accessible, because the walk from the curb to a staged coach is outdoors.
  • Canadian citizens and residents crossing back to Ontario need passports or approved travel cards, and duty free purchases are checked at the bridge.
  • Cell service is strong in the terminal, so send the chauffeur a text as soon as the aircraft reaches the gate.
  • Groups carrying several oversized bags should tell dispatch in advance so the right coach is assigned.

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at BUF?

Taxis queue outside the terminal, but a single cab holds four people and a limited amount of luggage, so a group of twenty needs five cars and five separate fares. Rideshare surge pricing rises on game nights and during storms, and drivers can cancel when the airport queue is long. A prebooked chauffeur has the exact vehicle waiting, tracks the flight, meets the group inside, and charges the figure you approved days earlier. For anyone coordinating a group from New York, NY, that certainty is the entire reason to book ahead.

Dispatch tracks the flight number in real time and the chauffeur adjusts to the new arrival. Wait time caused by an airline delay is never billed to the group.
