Kalaeloa (JRF) Airport Limo Service
Groups heading west on Oahu can book a Kalaeloa (JRF) Airport limo service with stretch limousines, Sprinter vans and charter buses for 3 to 56 guests, priced up front with no surge fees upon arrival.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Kalaeloa (JRF) Airport
Touching down at the old Barbers Point airfield puts you minutes from Ko Olina, Kapolei and the quiet west side of Oahu, yet the terminal offers almost nothing in the way of curbside transportation. Our Kalaeloa (JRF) Airport Limo Service fills that gap with a licensed chauffeur parked and waiting when your wheels stop. As part of our statewide Hawaii airport limo service, Union Limousine covers private jet arrivals, flight school visitors, military travelers and resort guests who need a dependable ride from JRF to any corner of the island.
We plan every pickup around your tail number or charter manifest, so the vehicle is staged at the terminal entrance or the FBO gate before you deplane. Your next stop might be a Ko Olina villa, a Kapolei business meeting or a hotel on Kalakaua Avenue. Either way, the ride begins the moment you step off the aircraft.
Why Travelers Choose a Chauffeured Ride from Kalaeloa Airport?
Designed for Private, Charter and Training Flights
Kalaeloa serves corporate jets, turboprops, air tours and chartered aircraft that prefer a calm field away from Honolulu traffic. Passengers on these flights expect discretion and punctuality, and our chauffeurs are trained around both. Expect the following on every booking:
- Live tracking of your filed arrival time, with free adjustments for early or late landings
- A uniformed chauffeur holding a name sign at the terminal door or FBO lobby
- Help with luggage, golf bags, dive gear and surfboards on request
- A fixed quote confirmed in writing before your travel date
- Child safety seats and bottled water available at booking
Coverage Across West Oahu and the Whole Island
JRF sits inside the Kalaeloa redevelopment district, a growing area of new homes, solar farms and light industry between Kapolei and Ewa Beach. From here we reach Makakilo, Ewa, Waipahu, the Waianae Coast and every resort along the Ko Olina lagoons. Travelers who prefer a single passenger sedan can also book our Kalaeloa airport car service for a lower fare.
Some itineraries begin at Kalaeloa and end at a commercial gate. When your trip continues through Honolulu, our Daniel K. Inouye International Airport limo team coordinates the connection so you never wait between rides.

History and Importance of the Airfield
The Navy commissioned Naval Air Station Barbers Point in April 1942, a few months after the attack on Pearl Harbor, and later absorbed the neighboring Marine Corps Air Station Ewa in 1952. Patrol squadrons flew from the base for decades until federal base closures shifted naval aviation to the windward side of the island. On July 1, 1999, the State of Hawaii accepted roughly 757 acres of the former station and reopened it as Kalaeloa Airport, a general aviation reliever for Honolulu.
Kalaeloa means "long point" in Hawaiian, the traditional name for the southwest tip of Oahu. The JRF code honors Commander John Rodgers, who led the first attempted flight from California to Hawaii in 1925. Today the field remains a working state asset: the Coast Guard air station at Barbers Point launches search and rescue missions from here, the Hawaii National Guard trains on site, and airlines use the runways as an alternate landing option when Honolulu is congested.
Airlines Operating from JRF
Kalaeloa currently has no scheduled passenger airline. Mokulele Airlines became the first carrier to offer scheduled flights here when it began service to Kahului on Maui in July 2014, though the route ended after about two years. Present traffic comes from private jets, charter operators, air tour companies, flight schools and government aircraft.
Domestic Destinations
With no fixed timetable, destinations depend on each charter. Private and chartered aircraft regularly link JRF with Kahului and Kapalua on Maui, Kona and Hilo on Hawaii Island, and Lihue on Kauai. Long range business jets also arrive from West Coast cities such as Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. Travelers needing commercial connections transfer to Honolulu, about 17 miles to the east.
Terminal Information
The airport uses a compact terminal that shares a building with the historic control tower, one of several structures on the field eligible for the National Register of Historic Places. Facilities are basic: there are no restaurants, retail shops or baggage carousels, so passengers usually handle bags planeside with help from their operator or FBO. The state has planned upgrades to the terminal and tower building along with new hangars.
Passenger Traffic
State records list 123,184 aircraft operations in 2007, and much of that activity is touch and go pilot training. Passenger counts remain small, which keeps the ramp calm and makes a quick, private arrival possible for VIP travelers and their guests.
Parking Overview
Visitor parking is a modest surface lot near the terminal with no garages or economy shuttle lots. Spaces can fill when training classes are in session, so confirm current rules with airport staff before leaving a car overnight. A chauffeured transfer removes the need to park at all.
Pickup and Drop Off Guidance
Most drivers reach the airport from the H1 Freeway via the Kalaeloa exit, then follow Kalaeloa Boulevard south toward Midway Street. Your chauffeur meets you at the terminal entrance or at the gate of the FBO that handles your aircraft. Ramp side pickups require advance clearance, so share your operator name and tail number when you book. For departures we drop you at the same point and wait until your crew confirms boarding.
Ground Transportation Options
Kalaeloa has no taxi stand, rental counters or hotel shuttles on site. Rideshare drivers are thin on the west side, and wait times can stretch well past 20 minutes, especially late at night. Public bus routes serve the wider Kalaeloa and Kapolei area, though stops sit a walk away from the terminal and offer little room for luggage.
Tips for Arriving Passengers
Before You Fly
- Send your FBO name, tail number and estimated arrival time when booking
- List oversized items such as golf clubs, surfboards or camera cases
- Ask for a child seat in advance if traveling with young children
After You Land
- Keep your phone on so dispatch can confirm your chauffeur's location
- Carry water and sunscreen since the terminal has no concessions
- Plan extra time for afternoon H1 traffic if heading to Honolulu
Note for Private Jet Crews
Crew members can book separate transfers to Kapolei or Ko Olina hotels, and we hold the vehicle if fueling or paperwork runs long.
Why a Pre Booked Chauffeur Is Often the Smarter Choice?
With no taxi line and patchy rideshare coverage, a confirmed reservation is the surest way to leave Kalaeloa on time. Union Limousine sets the fare in advance, monitors your arrival and assigns a chauffeur who already knows the gate procedures at JRF. You avoid surge pricing, unfamiliar drivers and long waits on an empty curb, and your group stays together in one clean, comfortable vehicle.
Travelers who want the same standard across the islands can explore our limo service in Hawaii for resort transfers, wine tastings, weddings and nights out on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Hawaii Island.
