What we offer

Lanai Airport (LNY) Airport Limo Service

Wedding parties, retreat planners, and families use our Lanai Airport (LNY) Airport Limo Service to move each guest on schedule, with SUVs, Sprinter vans, and coaches sized for groups up to 56 people.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Lanai Airport (LNY) Airport

Stepping off a small Caravan onto the quiet ramp outside Lanai City feels nothing like arriving at a crowded Honolulu gate, and your ride should carry that same calm. Our Hawaii airport limo service meets scheduled and charter arrivals at LNY with a licensed chauffeur, a spotless vehicle, and a clear plan for the descent to Manele Bay or the climb into the cool Koele uplands. Union Limousine serves resort guests, wedding parties, executives on retreat, and residents returning home from Oahu or Maui.

Lanai has no public bus network, so a reserved car is the most dependable link between the terminal and the island’s short list of paved roads. We follow your inbound flight, wait inside arrivals with a name sign, and load your bags while other travelers are still asking about the resort shuttle.

Why Travelers Book a Lanai Airport (LNY) Airport Limo Service?

What Every Reservation Includes?

  • Live flight monitoring for Mokulele Airlines and Lanai Air arrivals, including delays caused by strong trade winds
  • A uniformed chauffeur holding your name inside the small arrivals room
  • A fixed quote confirmed at booking, with no surge pricing at busy flight times
  • Space for golf bags, dive gear, and oversized luggage when you request it
  • Direct drop off at Four Seasons Resort Lanai, Sensei Lanai, Hotel Lanai, and private homes around Lanai City

Travelers who want a simple point to point transfer without the limousine experience can also reserve our Lanai airport car service, which uses the same flight tracking and chauffeur standards.

Island Routes We Drive Every Week

Most rides begin on Kaumalapau Highway toward Lanai City, where Dole Park, local cafes, and the historic plantation cottages sit about ten minutes from the terminal. From town, Manele Road winds south to Hulopoe Beach, the Manele Golf Course, and Manele Small Boat Harbor. Guests continuing to Maui can board the Maui Lanai passenger ferry, which runs three round trips each day between Manele and Maalaea Harbor. Visitors who start their trip on Oahu often pair this transfer with our Honolulu airport limo so both islands sit on one itinerary.

We also arrange scenic stops on request, including Keahiakawelo (Garden of the Gods), Shipwreck Beach on the north shore, and the Lanai Cat Sanctuary near the airport road. Four wheel drive vehicles are recommended for unpaved trails, and our team can tell you which sites fit a standard vehicle.

Fleet Options for LNY Arrivals and Island Transfers

Each vehicle below serves airport pickups and longer group movements across Hawaii. Larger coaches are scheduled well in advance so they reach the island ahead of your event.

Luxury Sedans: Up to 3 Passengers

Ideal for 1 to 3 travelers. Couples heading to a Manele Bay honeymoon and executives attending a board retreat at Koele choose sedans for a quiet, private ride with room for two large suitcases.

Premium SUVs: Up to 6 Passengers

Ideal for 4 to 6 travelers. Families with snorkel gear, golfers with full bags, and friends sharing a rental home appreciate the extra cargo space and high seating.

Stretch Limousines: Up to 20 Passengers

Ideal for 8 to 20 guests. Wedding parties, anniversary dinners, and milestone birthdays use stretch limousines for photo worthy arrivals at Hulopoe Beach and evening outings in Lanai City.

Sprinter Vans: Up to 14 Passengers

Ideal for 8 to 14 travelers. Corporate retreat teams, golf groups, and extended families value the standing headroom, reclining seats, and generous luggage bay.

Party Buses: Up to 30 Passengers

Ideal for 15 to 30 guests. Rehearsal dinners, reunion celebrations, and reception transfers come alive with lighting, a premium sound system, and a chauffeur who knows every turn on Manele Road.

Mini Charter Buses: Up to 35 Passengers

Ideal for 20 to 35 riders. Incentive trips, conference delegations, and school groups stay together for airport shuttles and full day island tours.

Full Size Charter Buses: Up to 56 Passengers

History and Importance

Regular flights began at Lanai in 1930, when the interisland carrier that later became Hawaiian Airlines served the island with amphibious Sikorsky aircraft. During the pineapple plantation era the airfield linked workers, supplies, and fruit shipments to the rest of the state, and a new passenger terminal complex opened in 1964. Today it remains the only airport on the island, carrying residents to medical appointments on Oahu, delivering mail and cargo, and welcoming visitors bound for some of the most exclusive resorts in Hawaii.

Airlines and Domestic Destinations

Mokulele Airlines flies Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft to Daniel K. Inouye International in Honolulu and to Kahului on Maui. Lanai Air operates frequent public charter service to Honolulu. Private jet operators and air taxi companies also use the single runway. There are no nonstop flights to the mainland, so most visitors connect through Honolulu or Kahului.

Terminal Information

The terminal is a single level building with airline counters, a TSA screening checkpoint, a covered waiting area, and restrooms. Walking distances are short, and bags usually reach the claim area within minutes of landing. Small aircraft carriers weigh baggage at check in and may ask for passenger weights to balance the plane, so pack light when you can.

Passenger Traffic

State figures show LNY handled 117,639 passengers in 2025, up from 116,424 in 2024 and 110,201 in 2019. Visitor demand stays strong, and Hawaii tourism research from the state economic development department consistently ranks Lanai visitors among the highest daily spenders of any island.

Parking Overview

A small surface lot sits a short walk from the terminal entrance and covers short visits and longer stays. Spaces are limited during peak arrival periods, and drivers dropping off passengers should not leave vehicles unattended at the curb.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

Passenger loading happens at the curb directly in front of the terminal. For arrivals, your chauffeur meets you inside, so there is no need to search the curb. For departures, we recommend reaching the airport 60 minutes before an interisland flight to allow time for check in, bag weighing, and security.

Ground Transportation Options

The island has no public transportation. Rental cars, mostly jeeps and SUVs, are available in limited numbers, and a scheduled resort shuttle runs between the airport, the ferry terminal, Lanai City, and the Four Seasons properties for a fee. The airport also lists approved pre arranged ground transportation permittees, and booking ahead is the most reliable way to secure a private ride.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Reserve your car before you fly, since the rental fleet and private drivers book out quickly in winter and summer
  • Pack a light layer, because Lanai City sits near 1,600 feet and evenings are cooler than at the coast
  • Keep phone numbers handy, as cell coverage can be weaker in remote parts of the island
  • Confirm your ferry or return flight time with your chauffeur so the drop off fits the schedule

Why a Pre Booked Chauffeur Is Often More Convenient Than Taxis or Rideshare?

Taxis are scarce on Lanai, and rideshare apps rarely show available drivers at the terminal. The resort shuttle follows a fixed timetable and stops for other guests. A pre booked chauffeur is already waiting when the door opens, handles your luggage, and leaves the moment you are ready, which matters after a long trip from the mainland.

A Note for Evening Arrivals

The last flights of the day land close to sunset. Share your flight number when you book so we can confirm a chauffeur for late landings.

Corporate, Wedding, and Resort Travel on Lanai

Planners moving large groups often combine sedans for executives with our airport Sprinter van service for teams and luggage. Union Limousine assigns a single coordinator to multi vehicle bookings, so every arrival, dinner transfer, and golf tee time runs on one timeline. Guests extending their stay on other islands can rely on our statewide Hawaii limo service for ground travel on Oahu, Maui, Kauai, and the Big Island.
