Portland International Jetport (PWM) Airport Limo Service
Groups of 3 to 56 ride together from the Jetport in sedans, Sprinter vans or coaches. Portland International Jetport (PWM) Airport Limo Service built for weddings, corporate teams and cruise sailings.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Portland International Jetport (PWM) Airport
Your flight banks over Casco Bay, the wheels touch down on the long runway in South Portland, and a chauffeur is already standing at baggage claim with your name on a tablet. That is the standard we hold for every pickup at the Jetport, and it is why travelers across the state choose our Maine airport limo service for business trips, family reunions, cruise departures and weekend escapes to the coast. Union Limousine runs licensed, insured chauffeured vehicles to and from Portland International Jetport (PWM) for riders heading anywhere in Maine, ME, from the Old Port to Ogunquit and from Freeport to Bar Harbor.
The Jetport sits only two miles west of downtown Portland, yet the roads around it fill quickly on summer Fridays, during the Maine Lobster Festival and whenever a nor'easter rolls up the coast. A prebooked chauffeur removes the guesswork. We track your inbound flight, adjust for early or late arrivals, carry your luggage from the carousel to a warm vehicle and deliver you to your door at a price you agreed to before you ever left home.
Why Travelers in Maine Book a Chauffeur for PWM?
Flight Tracking and a Meet and Greet Inside the Terminal
Every reservation includes live flight monitoring. If your Delta connection out of LaGuardia leaves late or your Breeze flight from Orlando lands twenty minutes early, your chauffeur already knows. For arrivals we offer a meet and greet in the baggage claim hall on Level 1, where the Visitor Information desk and the Ground Transportation booth are located. Curbside pickups are available as well for riders who prefer to walk straight out to the arrivals lane with carry on bags only.
Fixed Pricing for Every Address in the State
Our quotes are all inclusive. Tolls on the Maine Turnpike, fuel, gratuity options and airport fees are explained up front, so a ride to Kennebunkport costs the same whether you land in sunshine or sleet. Riders who use our limo service for recurring corporate travel receive consolidated monthly invoicing, passenger profiles and a single point of contact for changes.
Chauffeurs Who Know the Region
Union Limousine chauffeurs in Maine understand that Route 1 crawls through Wiscasset in July, that Commercial Street closes for festivals, and that the Casco Bay Bridge opens for marine traffic. They plan routes around those realities and keep an eye on Turnpike conditions between Exit 44 in Scarborough and Exit 53 in West Falmouth. The result is a quiet, direct ride every time.

Where We Drive From the Jetport?
Greater Portland and Casco Bay
Most of our Jetport runs end within fifteen minutes of the terminal: the Old Port, the Arts District, the West End, South Portland, Westbrook, Falmouth and Cape Elizabeth. Cruise passengers sailing from Ocean Gateway on Commercial Street rely on our Portland cruise terminal car service to move from the arrivals hall to the pier with luggage handled door to door. Business travelers heading to Cross Insurance Arena events, Merrill Auditorium performances or offices on Congress Street can reserve the same PWM car service in a sedan or SUV.
Southern Maine Beaches and the Kennebunks
Scarborough, Old Orchard Beach, Saco, Biddeford, Kennebunk, Kennebunkport, Wells, Ogunquit, York and Kittery are all comfortable chauffeured rides from PWM, most between thirty and sixty minutes depending on season. Summer weekends can double the drive time on Route 1, and our chauffeurs use Interstate 95 and local shortcuts to keep schedules intact.
Midcoast, Lewiston Auburn and the Capital Region
Freeport shoppers, Bowdoin College families in Brunswick, and guests bound for Bath, Wiscasset, Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, Rockland and Camden all ride north with us along Route 1 and Interstate 295. To the west, Lewiston, Auburn and Augusta are within an hour, and our limo service in Maine extends to Waterville, Bangor and Bar Harbor for travelers who prefer a direct road transfer to a connecting regional flight.
Connecting to Boston Logan, Manchester and Bangor
When international itineraries route through Boston Logan or when fares at Manchester Boston Regional make the drive worthwhile, we provide fixed rate transfers between PWM and those airports as well as Bangor International. Many Maine residents also book a one way ride to Logan for a departure and a pickup at the Jetport on the return.

History and Importance
The field began in the 1920s as a grass strip graded by Dr. Clifford Strange on his Stroudwater farmland, and the Department of Commerce recognized it as Stroudwater Flying Field in 1927. Boston & Maine Airways brought the first scheduled flights in 1934, the City of Portland acquired the airport in the mid 1930s, and the Works Progress Administration built a brick terminal in 1940 that still serves general aviation today. The present main runway dates to 1957, the jet age terminal opened in 1968, and Northeast Airlines, later absorbed by Delta in 1972, anchored commercial service for decades. The airport's history timeline also explains the PWM code, which comes from the Portland Westbrook Municipal beacon used by early airline pilots.
The largest transformation arrived with a $75 million terminal expansion that opened in October 2011. Designed with heavy timber construction and the largest geothermal heating and cooling system in the state, the project earned LEED Gold certification in 2012, making PWM the second commercial airport terminal in the country to reach that level. Today the Jetport is the busiest airport in Maine and the primary gateway for the southern half of the state.
Airlines Operating From PWM
Seven carriers currently serve the Jetport: American Airlines, Breeze Airways, Delta Air Lines, JetBlue, Southwest Airlines, Sun Country Airlines and United Airlines. The legacy carriers feed their hubs year round, and Breeze, Southwest and Sun Country concentrate on leisure routes that expand sharply for the summer season.
Domestic Destinations
Year round nonstop service links Portland with New York JFK, LaGuardia and Newark, Atlanta, Detroit, Charlotte, Philadelphia, Washington National, Washington Dulles, Chicago O'Hare, Baltimore, Charleston, Raleigh Durham, Orlando, Tampa and Fort Myers. Seasonal flights add Minneapolis, Denver, Houston, San Francisco, Dallas Fort Worth, Nashville, Chicago Midway, Pittsburgh, Columbus, Cincinnati, Akron Canton, Norfolk and Sarasota Bradenton, and Breeze has announced summer service to Myrtle Beach beginning in 2027. The airport carries no scheduled international flights at present, so every arriving passenger clears straight through to baggage claim.
Terminal Information
PWM operates a single passenger terminal. Ticketing, curbside check in and baggage claim share Level 1, the security checkpoint added in the 2011 expansion leads up to the concourse, and gates 3 through 12 sit along one concourse. Dining includes Shipyard Brewport at Gate 5, Starbucks at Gate 7 and Linda Bean's Maine Lobster Cafe at Gate 10, with Downeast Marketplace and Best Buy Express kiosks along the concourse. A lactation room sits between Gates 5 and 6, a service animal relief area is at Gate 11, free wireless internet covers the building, and a Level 3 skybridge lined with sculpture connects the concourse to the parking garage and rental car atrium.
Passenger Traffic
The Jetport has posted record volumes three years in a row. Total passengers reached 2,218,441 in 2023, climbed to 2,438,054 in 2024 and set a new high of 2,593,067 in 2025, when August alone handled 330,131 travelers. Through August 2026 the airport had already served over 1.7 million passengers, keeping it on pace for another record. Summer months routinely run double the volume of February, which is why early bookings matter for July and August arrivals.
Parking Overview
A five story garage with over 2,000 spaces stands a short covered walk from the terminal. Short term parking on Level 1 is free for the first hour and then $1 per thirty minutes up to a $48 daily maximum. Long term garage levels, the surface Blue and Green lots and the shuttle served Pink Lot at 70 District Road range from $10 to $16 per day. Lots fill during peak travel weeks, so the airport encourages advance parking reservations through its online partner. A free cell phone lot is available for drivers waiting on arriving passengers, and the garage clearance is 7 feet 2 inches.
Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance
International Parkway loops past the terminal with departures on the upper level and arrivals on the lower level. Curbside stops are for active loading only, and unattended vehicles are asked to move along. Our chauffeurs either greet you inside baggage claim and then bring the vehicle around, or coordinate a curbside meeting by text once you have your bags. For departures we recommend arriving at the terminal 90 minutes before a domestic flight, with extra time during the summer peak and school vacation weeks in February and April.
Ground Transportation Options
The Ground Transportation booth outside baggage claim coordinates taxis, which run from the first morning flight to the last arrival. Greater Portland METRO Route 7 connects the Jetport with downtown Portland, the Portland Transportation Center and other city routes, and the Amtrak Downeaster departs that same transportation center for Freeport, Brunswick and Boston North Station. Concord Coach Lines and Greyhound operate from that same transportation center. Seven rental car brands operate from the atrium inside the garage. For groups, our Sprinter van service for Maine airports keeps everyone and their luggage together in one vehicle.
Tips for Arriving Passengers
Check Maine 511 traveler information before you land during winter storms, since the Turnpike and Interstate 295 can slow to a crawl within an hour of heavy snow. The Maine Department of Transportation publishes project and bridge work schedules at maine.gov, which is worth a glance before Turnpike and Route 1 trips during the summer paving season. Baggage usually arrives within twenty minutes of parking at the gate, cell coverage is strong throughout the terminal, and the Visitor Information desk in baggage claim stays open daily from noon to midnight for maps and local advice.
Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Is Often More Convenient?
Taxi availability at PWM thins out after the final evening arrivals, and rideshare surge pricing follows the summer crowds, the Beach to Beacon weekend and every cruise ship turnaround at Ocean Gateway. A prebooked chauffeur from Union Limousine carries your flight number, waits through delays at no extra charge, loads your luggage and departs on a route planned for that hour. For groups of six or more, a single Sprinter van or minibus keeps the whole party, and all of the luggage, on one schedule.
Winter and Peak Season Planning
Between December and March we assign SUVs with all wheel drive to coastal and inland routes, build buffer time for plowing operations and monitor diversion notices when fog settles over Casco Bay. July and August bookings should be placed at least a week ahead for stretch limousines, party buses and coaches.
Group Arrivals on Multiple Flights
Wedding parties and corporate teams often land on three or four different flights across an afternoon. We stage a single coordinator at baggage claim, hold the vehicle in the garage and depart once the last guest arrives, with sedans available for anyone whose connection runs late.

Frequently Asked Questions
Explore our FAQs to learn more about our luxury fleet, professional chauffeurs, airport transfers, reservations, and private transportation services designed for a comfortable and seamless travel experience.
For meet and greet service, your chauffeur waits in the baggage claim hall on Level 1 holding a sign with your name. If you prefer a curbside pickup, you will receive a text with the vehicle description, and the chauffeur pulls up to the arrivals lane once your bags are in hand.
Downtown transfers are our shortest and most affordable Jetport rides, with sedan pricing quoted as a flat rate that includes tolls and fees. Final cost depends on vehicle class and time of day, and we confirm the exact figure in writing before the booking is placed.
Yes. Kennebunkport, Kennebunk, Ogunquit and the rest of the southern coast are among our most requested routes from the Jetport. Rides typically take 40 to 60 minutes, and we quote a fixed fare that does not change if summer traffic slows Route 1.
Our executive Sprinter vans seat up to 14 passengers and include a rear luggage area sized for standard checked bags. For 14 riders with oversized gear such as skis or golf clubs, we suggest a mini charter bus with under floor storage.
Nothing changes on your end. Our dispatch team tracks every inbound flight and adjusts the pickup time automatically, including overnight diversions and rebookings. Delay related waiting is included for airport arrivals.
Airport pickups include a complimentary grace period that begins when your flight actually lands, which covers deplaning and baggage claim. Waiting past that window is billed in short increments at the rate shown on your confirmation.
Rear facing, forward facing and booster seats are available at no cost when requested at the time of booking. Please tell us the age and approximate weight of each child so the correct seat is installed before your arrival.
Absolutely. Stretch limousines seating up to 20 guests are popular for ceremonies in Cape Elizabeth, Falmouth, Freeport and the Old Port, and we can pair them with Sprinter vans or coaches for larger guest lists arriving at the Jetport.
For mini and full size charter buses we recommend booking two to three weeks ahead year round and four weeks ahead for July, August and foliage season, when regional coach inventory tightens. Sedans and SUVs can usually be confirmed the same day.
Yes. We provide fixed rate transfers between PWM and Boston Logan, Manchester Boston Regional and Bangor International in any vehicle class, with pickup timing coordinated to your flight at either end of the trip.
