What we offer

City of Cape Girardeau Regional (CGI) Airport Limo Service

Executives, SEMO visitors and families pick our City of Cape Girardeau Regional (CGI) Airport Limo Service for sedans, SUVs, Sprinter vans and coaches that are ready at the curb the moment you arrive.

Stretch Limo Service to and from City of Cape Girardeau Regional (CGI) Airport

A chauffeur waiting at the curb of a quiet regional terminal changes the whole feel of a trip. Union Limousine delivers that experience at City of Cape Girardeau Regional (CGI) Airport with a Missouri airport limo service built around the Contour Airlines timetable, the free parking lot that sits steps from the doors, and the southeast Missouri roads that carry passengers home to Jackson, Sikeston, Perryville and beyond. Reserve a sedan, SUV, stretch limousine, Sprinter van, party bus or charter bus, and a professional driver will be tracking your flight before the wheels touch Runway 10/28.

CGI is a small airport with big ambitions. Scheduled jets now connect it to Chicago O'Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, and seasonal Florida sun, while a new passenger terminal opened in 2024 with nearly twice the floor space of the old building. We match that upgrade with vehicles that are detailed before every trip, chauffeurs who know the Nash Road exit off Interstate 55, and flat quotes that stay the same even when a flight from ORD lands late in the evening.

Why Missouri Travelers Choose Our CGI Airport Limo?

Riders from Cape Girardeau, Scott City, Jackson and the Bootheel book with us because every detail of a CGI transfer has been thought through in advance.

  • Live flight tracking for every Contour arrival from ORD, DFW, PNS and SFB, so your pickup time moves with the schedule
  • Complimentary wait time on delayed inbound flights, with a chauffeur who already knows the terminal hours of 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM
  • Meet and greet inside the new terminal, with help carrying luggage to a vehicle parked in the free lot by the entrance
  • All inclusive pricing with tolls, fuel, gratuity and airport fees folded into one written quote
  • Child seats, extra luggage space and wheelchair friendly SUVs available on request
  • Licensed, insured chauffeurs who have passed background checks and drug screening
  • A single reservation desk for airport runs, SEMO campus visits, Century Casino evenings and multi day corporate itineraries across the state

CGI Airport Limo Services We Provide

Our Missouri limo service covers every reason a traveler might pass through Cape Girardeau Regional, from the first Chicago departure of the morning to a late night return from Dallas.

Arrivals With Meet and Greet

Contour flights into CGI arrive on 30 seat Embraer regional jets, and baggage claim is a short walk from the gate. Your chauffeur meets you inside the terminal with a name sign, confirms your bags, and has the vehicle idling at the curb within minutes. For families, we preinstall booster or infant seats before the flight lands.

Early Morning Departures

The airport recommends arriving at least one hour before departure, and that advice matters most for the first ORD flight of the day. We schedule the pickup backward from your boarding time, add a buffer for the drive from Jackson or Sikeston, and send a text when the chauffeur is outside your door.

Corporate and University Travel

Executives visiting manufacturers along Nash Road, physicians rotating through Saint Francis Medical Center or Southeast Hospital, and faculty flying in for Southeast Missouri State University events all rely on a Missouri car service that keeps a quiet cabin, working chargers and a predictable invoice. Monthly billing is available for companies with regular CGI traffic.

Weddings, Casino Nights and Celebrations

A stretch limousine or party bus turns a Cape Girardeau wedding, a Century Casino birthday or a SEMO Redhawks tailgate into an event. Out of town guests landing at CGI can be collected together, driven to the venue, and returned to their hotels on one coordinated schedule.

Group and Charter Movements

Sports teams, church groups, Honor Flight send offs and convention delegations arriving on the same Contour flight board a Sprinter van, mini coach or full size charter bus directly outside the terminal. One driver, one vehicle, one departure time, with luggage loaded in the lower bays.

Our Fleet for CGI Airport Transfers

Every vehicle below is maintained to commercial standards and arrives clean, climate controlled and stocked with bottled water.

Sedans (Up to 3 Passengers)

Executive sedans suit solo business travelers and couples flying between CGI and Chicago or Dallas. Expect leather seating, tinted glass, phone chargers and room for three suitcases in the trunk. Ideal for hospital consultations, interviews and quiet rides to the Show Me Center.

SUVs (Up to 6 Passengers)

Full size luxury SUVs carry up to six passengers with golf bags, sample cases or a full week of luggage. Families returning from Orlando Sanford on the seasonal Florida flight appreciate the captain's chairs, rear climate control and higher ride position on the drive up Interstate 55.

Stretch Limousines (Up to 20 Passengers)

Stretch limousines seat anywhere from eight to twenty, depending on the model, with fiber optic lighting, a premium sound system, privacy partition and bar area. Book one for proms, anniversaries, bachelorette weekends and wedding party airport pickups.

Sprinter Vans (Up to 14 Passengers)

Executive Sprinter vans fit up to fourteen passengers with standing headroom, individual leather seats, USB ports and a large rear luggage compartment. They are a favorite for corporate site visits to industrial parks, university recruiting trips and church groups traveling to Trail of Tears State Park.

Party Buses (Up to 30 Passengers)

Party buses carry up to thirty guests with perimeter seating, LED lighting, dance floor space and onboard coolers. They turn a casino crawl, a riverfront festival or a Jackson wedding reception into a rolling celebration that begins the moment the group leaves CGI.

Mini Charter Buses (Up to 35 Passengers)

Mini coaches offer forward facing reclining seats, overhead storage, a PA system and underfloor luggage bays for up to thirty five passengers. They are sized for athletic teams, school trips and conference groups that need comfort without a full size coach.

Full Size Charter Buses (Up to 56 Passengers)

Full size motorcoaches seat up to fifty six with restrooms, WiFi, power outlets, DVD screens and generous cargo space. Tour operators, multi church pilgrimages and corporate retreats use them for day trips to St. Louis, Branson and Memphis from the CGI terminal.

Where We Drive From CGI Across Missouri

Cape Girardeau Regional sits on the Scott County side of the city line, roughly six miles southwest of downtown and a quick turn off Interstate 55. From there our chauffeurs cover the entire southeast corner of the state and the neighboring river cities.

Cape Girardeau and Jackson

Downtown Cape Girardeau, the Mississippi River floodwall murals, the Red House district and Southeast Missouri State University are all within fifteen minutes of the terminal. Jackson, the Cape Girardeau County seat, sits a few minutes farther north, and Trail of Tears State Park along the river is a popular first stop for visitors who want a Mississippi overlook before checking into their hotel.

Scott City, Sikeston and the Bootheel

Scott City lies minutes from the runway, and Sikeston is about thirty minutes south along Interstate 55. We serve Charleston, Dexter, New Madrid, Kennett and Poplar Bluff for agricultural executives, hospital staff and families flying through CGI.

Perryville, Farmington and the Road to St. Louis

Northbound trips reach Perryville in forty minutes, Ste. Genevieve and Farmington in just over an hour, and St. Louis Lambert in under two hours. Travelers who find a better fare out of a larger hub often combine a CGI drop off one way with a St. Louis pickup on the return.

Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky

Across the Bill Emerson Memorial Bridge, we reach Carbondale and Southern Illinois University in about an hour, and Paducah, Kentucky in roughly ninety minutes. Many riders use CGI as a quieter alternative gateway for the whole three state region.

City of Cape Girardeau Regional (CGI) Airport Information

Brief History and Importance

The airfield opened in 1942 as Harris Field, a wartime training base where civilian instructors taught Army Air Forces cadets to fly Fairchild PT 19 trainers. After the school closed in 1945, the property passed through the War Assets Administration, and the City of Cape Girardeau acquired it in 1946 and 1947 as Cape Girardeau Municipal Airport. Ozark Air Lines brought the first scheduled service in 1950, a control tower rose in 1973 and 1974, and the city formed Cape Aviation as the fixed base operator in 2001. Air Force One landed on the 6,500 foot main runway in 2018. Today the airport is a city department overseen by an Airport Advisory Board that meets at the terminal each month, and it remains the only commercial gateway between St. Louis and Memphis on the Missouri side of the river.

Airlines Operating From CGI

Contour Airlines is the sole scheduled carrier, flying 30 seat Embraer ERJ 135 and ERJ 145 regional jets under a federal subsidy program for small community air service. Contour has served Cape Girardeau since October 2022, first to Nashville and since late 2024 to Chicago O'Hare. Interline baggage agreements with American, United, Alaska and JetBlue let passengers check bags through to connecting flights. Earlier carriers included Cape Air to St. Louis from 2009 to 2017 and SkyWest for United Express to Chicago from 2017 to 2022.

Domestic Destinations

Daily nonstop flights serve Chicago O'Hare (ORD), where Contour operates from Terminal 3, and Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) from Terminal D, a route that began December 1, 2025. Seasonal nonstop service to Pensacola (PNS) ran through summer 2026 and is scheduled to return in 2027. New seasonal nonstop service to Orlando Sanford (SFB) launches December 16, 2026, operating every Wednesday and Saturday through March 27, 2027, with a 9:40 AM departure from CGI.

Terminal Information

The new passenger terminal opened in 2024 and is nearly twice the size of the building it replaced. Inside you will find a single ticket counter for Contour, a TSA checkpoint, a restaurant, vending machines, a sensory room for travelers who need a calm space, a nursing mother's room and an outdoor pet relief area. Enterprise, Avis and Ochs rental counters sit near baggage claim. Terminal hours run from 6:00 AM to 7:30 PM, and the airport administrative office is open weekdays from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Cape Aviation handles general aviation from a separate facility on the field, home to the SEMO professional pilot program's training fleet.

Passenger Traffic

CGI is classified by the FAA as a commercial service nonprimary airport. In the twelve months ending May 2026, roughly 8,500 passengers flew the Chicago route, about 2,970 flew to Dallas/Fort Worth and 200 used the first weeks of Pensacola service, totals that already exceed the 7,650 departing passengers recorded in 2018 before the Contour era. The city reports well over 39,000 annual aircraft operations across airline, charter, flight training and military activity, with about 57 aircraft based on the field.

Parking Overview

Parking at CGI is free for both short and long term stays, and the lot sits a short walk from the terminal entrance. The terminal project added 67 spaces with the help of a state grant. Travelers leaving a vehicle for longer than thirty days are asked to file the airport's long term parking form so Public Safety can reach them if needed. Even with free parking, many passengers prefer a chauffeur so nobody in the family has to drive back from a late ORD arrival.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

The curb directly outside the terminal doors handles both arrivals and departures, and traffic is light enough that our chauffeurs can pull up the moment you text that your bags are in hand. For departures, we stop at the curb, unload luggage and walk you to the counter if you wish. For arrivals, the chauffeur waits inside near baggage claim and brings the vehicle to the door once you are ready. Expect no waiting lanes, no cell phone lot and no level changes.

Ground Transportation Options

There is no scheduled public transit to the CGI terminal. The Cape Girardeau County Transit Authority runs a free fixed route bus inside the city on weekdays plus demand response rides by appointment, but neither reaches the airport on a published schedule. Taxi availability is thin, rideshare coverage in Scott County is inconsistent, and rental cars sell out around university move in weekends and the holidays. A reserved chauffeur is the only option that guarantees a vehicle will be present when the jet door opens.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Confirm your Contour flight status before you leave Chicago or Dallas; regional jets are sensitive to Midwestern storms and the schedule can shift
  • Share your flight number with us when booking so the chauffeur can track the aircraft on its way into CGI
  • Cell service is strong at the terminal, so text or call as soon as you reach baggage claim
  • Visiting Southeast Missouri State University? Visitors need a free campus parking pass from Parking Services, one more reason to let a chauffeur handle the campus drop
  • Ask for a bottle of water and a phone charger; both are standard in our vehicles
  • Winter arrivals should allow extra time, since Interstate 55 and Route K can ice over quickly

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at CGI?

At a small airport, the question is whether a car will be there at all. Rideshare drivers rarely stage near Nash Road, so a request after landing can take twenty minutes or simply time out. Taxis must be called ahead and are metered through every stoplight. A prebooked chauffeur is already parked when the flight arrives, the price is fixed in writing, the vehicle is chosen for your group and luggage, and a dispatcher is watching the flight in case it diverts to St. Louis. For an 11:00 PM arrival with a family and four suitcases, that certainty is worth every penny.

How Booking Works?

Tell us your flight number, passenger count and luggage, and we will recommend the right vehicle and send a written quote within minutes. Our Missouri airport Sprinter van service and larger coaches can be reserved for the same trip as a sedan or SUV, so a conference group and its keynote speaker can arrive on one invoice. Union Limousine confirms the chauffeur's name and vehicle the day before travel, and a live dispatcher is reachable around the clock.

We plan the pickup so you reach the terminal at least one hour before departure, which is the airport's own recommendation. For the first Chicago flight of the morning, we add a buffer for weather and for longer drives from Sikeston, Perryville or Poplar Bluff.

Yes. Our dispatch team monitors every inbound flight from ORD, DFW, PNS and SFB. If the aircraft is delayed or arrives early, the chauffeur adjusts automatically and there is no charge for waiting on a late inbound flight.

The chauffeur waits inside the terminal near baggage claim holding a sign with your name. Once your bags arrive, the vehicle is brought to the curb directly outside the doors, where there are no waiting lanes or shuttle transfers.

Rates depend on vehicle type and time of day. A sedan transfer to downtown or the SEMO campus is a short, flat rate trip, while SUVs, Sprinter vans and coaches are priced per vehicle. Every quote includes fuel, tolls and gratuity.

Absolutely. Long distance transfers to St. Louis Lambert, Memphis, Nashville and Paducah are common when a traveler finds a better connection out of a larger hub. We quote these as flat rates with no hourly meter.

A full size SUV seats up to six passengers and carries a week of vacation luggage comfortably. For larger family groups arriving together on the Orlando Sanford or Pensacola service, a Sprinter van keeps everyone in one vehicle.

Parking at CGI is free for short and long term stays. Travelers still book a chauffeur to avoid driving home after a late arrival, to avoid the long term parking form for trips over thirty days, or simply to work during the ride.

Yes. Infant, convertible and booster seats are available on request at no additional charge. Let us know the ages of the children when booking and the seats will be installed before the chauffeur leaves for the airport.

Yes. Mini coaches and full size motorcoaches can load at the terminal curb. We coordinate the arrival time with your flight so the group boards together, and the driver stages nearby until your bags are collected.

Send us your travel pattern and we will set up a corporate profile with monthly invoicing, preferred vehicles and saved passenger details. Reservations can then be made by phone, email or online in under a minute.
