What we offer

Spirit of St. Louis (SUS) Airport Limo Service

Wedding parties, golf groups and air show visitors book Spirit of St. Louis (SUS) Airport Limo Service for stretch limos and party buses carrying 20 to 30 guests to any venue or hotel in Missouri, MO.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Spirit of St. Louis (SUS) Airport

Business jets, charter flights and private aircraft arrive at Spirit of St. Louis Airport every hour of the day, and each one carries passengers who expect ground transportation to match the standard of the flight itself. Our Spirit of St. Louis (SUS) Airport Limo Service is built for exactly that expectation. A licensed chauffeur meets you at the FBO door in Chesterfield, loads your luggage, and drives you anywhere in Missouri, MO in a late model sedan, SUV or stretch limousine. As part of our wider Missouri airport limo service, SUS bookings follow the same rules that corporate flight departments already trust: confirmed pricing, tracked arrivals and a vehicle that is waiting before the wheels touch the runway.

Chauffeured Limo Service at Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, MO

SUS sits in the Chesterfield Valley on the western edge of St. Louis County, roughly 17 miles from downtown St. Louis and about 15 miles southwest of Lambert International. There is no airline terminal here. Passengers step out of Aero Charter, Million Air or Signature Aviation and walk straight to a waiting vehicle, which is why timing and placement matter so much. We stage the car at the correct FBO, confirm the tail number and arrival window with your flight crew or broker, and keep the chauffeur on standby if the aircraft runs early or late. Union Limousine has been handling private aviation arrivals since 1997, and that experience shows in how quietly the handoff happens.

Who books SUS limo service?

  • Executives flying into Chesterfield for meetings in the Chesterfield Valley corporate corridor, Clayton or downtown St. Louis
  • Flight departments and charter brokers arranging ground transportation for principals and crew
  • Golf groups heading to the Landings at Spirit, Forest Park or private clubs across west St. Louis County
  • Wedding parties and milestone celebrations that want a stretch limousine or party bus from the FBO to the venue
  • Families and visitors attending the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show and STEM Expo each June
  • Medical and executive travelers who need a discreet transfer to Mercy Hospital, St. Luke's or Barnes Jewish

What makes our SUS limo service different?

Every Union Limousine reservation includes real time flight tracking, 60 minutes of complimentary wait time on private aviation arrivals, meet and greet at the FBO lobby, and one transparent quote that already covers gratuity, tolls and fuel. Chauffeurs are background checked, uniformed and trained on the layout of each SUS FBO, so there is never a question about which door or which ramp. Our Missouri limo service also covers the return leg, with pickups timed to your departure slot and a chauffeur who knows how early the FBO wants you on the ramp.

Fleet Options for Spirit of St. Louis Airport Transfers

Private aviation passengers travel in every configuration, from one principal with a briefcase to a 50 person corporate retreat landing on two aircraft. The fleet below is matched to each scenario, and every vehicle is detailed before dispatch.

Sedans (up to 3 passengers)

Executive sedans suit solo travelers and couples arriving on a light jet or turboprop. Leather seating, bottled water and a quiet cabin make them the standard choice for board meetings in Clayton, client dinners in Chesterfield and quick transfers to Lambert for a connecting airline flight.

SUVs (up to 6 passengers)

Full size SUVs give small teams and families more cargo space for golf bags, sample cases and checked luggage. They are the most requested vehicle for Chesterfield Valley corporate visits, winter arrivals and trips out to wineries in Augusta and Defiance.

Stretch Limousines (up to 20 passengers)

Stretch limousines turn an SUS arrival into the start of the celebration. Weddings at venues along Wild Horse Creek Road, anniversary dinners in Central West End and bachelor weekends headed to Ballpark Village all fit comfortably, with a divider, mood lighting and a premium sound system on board.

Sprinter Vans (up to 14 passengers)

Executive Sprinter vans are the right answer when a charter aircraft lands with a full delegation. High roofs, individual captain seats and onboard power keep everyone productive on the drive to a conference at the St. Louis Union Station or a site visit in St. Charles County.

Party Buses (up to 30 passengers)

Party buses carry large groups from the FBO to concerts at the Chesterfield Amphitheater, Cardinals and Blues games, and brewery tours downtown. Wraparound seating, coolers and premium audio keep the group together from touchdown to the final stop.

Mini Charter Buses (up to 35 passengers)

Mini coaches work well for corporate incentive groups, athletic teams and conference attendees who arrive on a single charter flight. Reclining seats, overhead storage and climate control make the ride to hotels in Chesterfield or convention venues in St. Louis easy on everyone.

Full Size Charter Buses (up to 56 passengers)

Full size motorcoaches handle the biggest arrivals: company offsites, multi day tours and event crews that fly into SUS to avoid airline terminal congestion. Restrooms, luggage bays and professional drivers come standard, and we can run multiple coaches in rotation for staggered arrivals.

Popular SUS Airport Limo Routes Across Missouri, MO

Chesterfield is the gateway to the whole St. Louis metro, and our chauffeurs cover the region daily. The routes below are the ones Union Limousine clients book most often, though any address in Missouri, MO can be served with a confirmed quote.

  • SUS to downtown St. Louis, Gateway Arch, Enterprise Center and Busch Stadium (about 35 to 45 minutes via Interstate 64)
  • SUS to Clayton business district and Washington University (about 25 to 30 minutes)
  • SUS to St. Louis Lambert International Airport for airline connections (about 25 minutes via Interstate 270)
  • SUS to St. Charles, Cottleville and the Missouri Research Park across the Boone Bridge
  • SUS to Augusta and Defiance wine country, Hermann and the Katy Trail towns
  • SUS to Columbia, Jefferson City, Springfield, Branson and Kansas City for statewide executive travel

Corporate accounts and repeat travelers

Companies with aircraft based at SUS or regular charter traffic through Chesterfield can set up a corporate account with net billing, preferred chauffeurs and a standing profile for each traveler. If your principals prefer a dedicated driver for the full day, our Missouri airport chauffeur service covers hourly as directed bookings, multi stop itineraries and overnight assignments anywhere in the state.

Group arrivals on charter aircraft

Sports teams, incentive groups and film crews often land at SUS on a single charter to avoid airline terminals altogether. For those arrivals, our Missouri airport Sprinter van service pairs with mini coaches and full size buses so a 40 person party leaves the ramp in one coordinated movement, with luggage trailers available on request.

About Spirit of St. Louis (SUS) Airport

Airport at a glance

  • Airport name: Spirit of St. Louis Airport
  • Airport code: SUS (ICAO: KSUS)
  • Address: 18270 Edison Ave, Chesterfield, MO 63005, United States
  • Phone: +1 636 532 2222
  • Official website: https://www.spiritairport.com/
  • Owner and operator: St. Louis County Government
  • Airport type: Public use general aviation reliever, open 24 hours

Brief history and importance

Spirit of St. Louis Airport opened in 1964 after aerospace engineer Paul D. Haglin spent years assembling farmland in the Chesterfield bottoms to build a modern field for business flyers, and the name honors the Ryan monoplane Charles Lindbergh flew nonstop from New York to Paris in 1927. St. Louis County acquired the airport in 1980 and has run it as a self supporting enterprise ever since, funding improvements through fuel sales and land leases. The official account of those early years is told on the Spirit Airport history page. Today SUS is the designated reliever for Lambert International and the busiest business aviation center in Missouri, home to over 150 aviation companies and 3,000 employees, with maintenance names such as Duncan Aviation, Flying Colours and Dassault servicing jets on the field. New investment keeps arriving: the Spirit Sky Club opened 28 private hangars in June 2026, and Blackbird Partners plans eight more on a 12.7 acre site with groundbreaking expected in early 2027.

Airlines operating from SUS

No scheduled passenger airlines serve SUS. The airport handles corporate flight departments, Part 135 charter operators, fractional programs, air ambulance flights and private pilots. Three full service FBOs manage arrivals: Aero Charter at 501 Turbine Avenue, an independent operator on the field for over 40 years; Million Air at 549 Bell Avenue, open around the clock; and Signature Aviation at 18260 Edison Avenue, the former TAC Air location, also open 24 hours.

Domestic destinations

Because every flight is private or chartered, destinations are set by the passenger. Common city pairs from SUS include Chicago Executive, Teterboro, Dallas Love Field, Denver Centennial, Scottsdale, Naples and Palm Beach, along with short hops to Kansas City, Columbia and Springfield within Missouri. The 7,485 foot main runway with ILS approaches comfortably handles midsize and large cabin jets, so coast to coast nonstop flights are routine.

Terminal information

SUS has no common terminal. Each FBO operates its own private lobby with passenger lounges, conference rooms, crew rest areas, catering and rental car desks. International arrivals clear through the on airport U.S. Customs and Border Protection facility at 18250 Edison Avenue, which CBP lists as Port of Entry 4506 with regular office hours of 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central on weekdays and after hours service by arrangement. Always confirm which FBO your flight is using before departure so your chauffeur is positioned at the right building.

Passenger traffic

The FAA recorded 143,570 aircraft operations at SUS in 2022, with 295 based aircraft, and the airport reports roughly 400 flights a day in peak periods. Traffic surges during the Spirit of St. Louis Air Show and STEM Expo, major golf tournaments, Cardinals playoff runs and large conventions, which is when prebooked ground transportation makes the biggest difference.

Parking overview

Each FBO maintains its own surface lot for passengers, crews and visitors, and short term parking is generally complimentary for people meeting a flight. There are no parking garages, shuttle lots or pay stations as you would find at Lambert. During the June air show, event parking shifts to designated fields around the airport with controlled access, so plan a chauffeured drop off if you are attending.

Pickup and drop off guidance

Give your chauffeur the FBO name, tail number and estimated arrival time. We track the aircraft from wheels up and position the vehicle at the FBO entrance about 15 minutes before touchdown. On arrival, the chauffeur meets you in the lobby, collects luggage from the line crew and loads it while you finish with the FBO staff. For departures, we drop you at the FBO door; most operators recommend arriving 20 to 30 minutes before a domestic departure and 60 minutes before an international one to allow time for customs paperwork.

Ground transportation options

Rental cars can be arranged through each FBO, and taxis or rideshare can be summoned to the field, although wait times in Chesterfield Valley often run 15 to 25 minutes. There is no MetroLink station at SUS; the closest Metro bus stop is on Chesterfield Airport Road at Boones Crossing, a long walk from any FBO. The City of Chesterfield keeps current road and construction notices on its municipal site, which is worth a glance before any arrival during the Interstate 64 interchange work.

Tips for arriving passengers

  • Text your chauffeur once the aircraft is on final; FBO ramps can be busy and a heads up keeps the handoff quick
  • Carry a government ID even on domestic private flights; FBOs may request it for ramp access
  • If you are clearing customs, keep passports accessible and remain with your party until CBP releases you
  • Allow extra time on air show weekend in June, when Chesterfield Airport Road and Edison Avenue run slowly
  • Ask your chauffeur about a stop at St. Louis Premium Outlets or Topgolf, both minutes from the FBOs
  • Stretch your legs after a long flight on the Monarch Chesterfield Levee greenway, which runs along the valley and crosses the Boone Bridge to the Katy Trail

Why prebooked chauffeur service beats taxis and rideshare at SUS?

Taxis rarely wait at a general aviation airport, and rideshare drivers often cannot locate the correct FBO gate or get past the ramp security line. A prebooked chauffeur is already in the lobby when you walk in, knows which door the line crew uses, and has the vehicle class your group needs. Pricing is locked in before you fly, so surge rates on a rainy Friday never apply. For corporate travelers the chauffeur also handles follow on stops, waiting time at meetings and the return to the ramp without a second booking.

Your chauffeur meets you at whichever FBO your aircraft is using: Aero Charter, Million Air or Signature Aviation. We confirm the FBO with your flight crew or broker before dispatch and position the vehicle at that building's lobby entrance.

We track the aircraft from departure and place the vehicle at the FBO about 15 minutes before the estimated touchdown. Because private flights often arrive early, the chauffeur stays flexible and adjusts to the live arrival time at no extra charge.

Yes. Private aviation pickups include 60 minutes of complimentary wait time measured from the actual landing time, and flight tracking usually means the chauffeur has already adjusted before any delay affects you.

Vehicles stay landside at the FBO entrance under standard security rules. Some FBOs allow planeside loading for approved vehicles with advance coordination, and we can request that access through the FBO when your trip is booked.

The drive from Chesterfield to downtown St. Louis via Interstate 64 takes about 35 to 45 minutes outside of rush hour. Trips to Clayton run 25 to 30 minutes and transfers to Lambert International take about 25 minutes.

Yes. We run sedans, SUVs, party buses and coaches for the air show and STEM Expo each June. Event weekend traffic on Chesterfield Airport Road is heavy, so we recommend booking at least two weeks in advance.

An executive Sprinter van with 14 seats is the best match for 12 passengers and luggage. For larger delegations we combine Sprinters with mini coaches or a full size bus so the entire group departs the ramp together.

Yes. Hourly as directed service keeps the same chauffeur and vehicle with you for meetings, site visits, dinners and the return to the airport. Hourly bookings start at a three hour minimum with no mileage limits inside the metro.

Yes. Flights clearing U.S. Customs at Spirit Airport are met the same way. Your chauffeur waits at the FBO while CBP processes the aircraft and passengers, and wait time is adjusted so customs delays never cost you extra.

Sedans and SUVs can usually be confirmed with 12 to 24 hours of notice, and same day requests are often possible. Stretch limousines, party buses and charter coaches should be reserved one to two weeks ahead, especially for weekends.
