What we offer

Laredo International (LRD) Airport Limo Service

Group travel made simpler at LRD: our Laredo International (LRD) Airport limo service pairs stretch limos, Sprinters and charter buses with flight tracking for weddings, conferences and campus visits.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Laredo International (LRD) Airport

Laredo sits where Interstate 35 meets the Rio Grande, and the traffic through Laredo International (LRD) Airport reflects it: trade delegations, logistics managers, families moving between two countries, and university visitors who want a calm ride after a long day. Our Texas airport limo service covers LRD around the clock with licensed chauffeurs, live flight monitoring, and a fleet that ranges from executive sedans to full size coaches. Union Limousine has arranged airport transfers since 1997, and that experience shows in the details: a greeter inside baggage claim, luggage handled for you, and a vehicle at the curb the moment you step outside.

Every reservation is confirmed in writing, priced before you travel, and backed by a dispatch team that answers at 2 a.m. the same way it answers at 2 p.m. If your American Eagle flight from Dallas Fort Worth lands early or your United connection out of Houston runs late, we move the pickup without a phone call from you.

Why Travelers Across Texas Rely on Our LRD Limo Service?

Many of our LRD clients fly through Laredo several times a month on cross border business. They need a limo service that behaves the same way on every trip: the same courteous greeting, the same spotless vehicle, the same predictable fare. We built our Laredo operation around that expectation.

Flight Tracking and Curbside Timing

Our dispatchers follow each inbound aircraft from pushback to touchdown. Flights into LRD from DFW, IAH, Las Vegas and Monterrey rarely arrive at the minute printed on the ticket, so we hold a buffer on both sides and position the chauffeur accordingly. You will never pay for waiting time caused by the airline.

Chauffeurs Who Know the Border Corridor

Laredo's road network can confuse first time visitors. Bob Bullock Loop wraps the east side of town, Mines Road feeds the warehousing district, and the World Trade Bridge approach is reserved for commercial trucks. Our chauffeurs drive these routes daily and know which loops and crossings to avoid during peak freight hours.

Transparent Pricing for Every Vehicle Class

Quotes include fuel, tolls, airport fees where they apply, and a clear gratuity line. Hourly, point to point and multi stop pricing is available, and corporate accounts receive consolidated monthly billing with trip level detail.

Who Books a Limo at Laredo International Airport?

Trade, Logistics and Energy Executives

Laredo moves a larger share of U.S. and Mexico truck trade than any other land port, and the companies behind that volume fly their people through LRD constantly. We deliver executives to warehouses along Mines Road, offices near Del Mar Boulevard, and meetings coordinated across the river in Nuevo Laredo. Our Webb County car service also handles ranch visits, Eagle Ford site inspections, and day trips to Zapata, Cotulla and Hebbronville.

Families, Quinceañeras and Wedding Parties

Laredo celebrates in a big way. Relatives flying into LRD for a quinceañera, a wedding at a downtown venue, or a reunion on the shore of Lake Casa Blanca appreciate a stretch limousine or Sprinter van that collects everyone together, luggage included, with room for the dress bags and the flowers.

University Visitors and Sports Teams

Texas A&M International University draws prospective students, visiting faculty and athletic squads year round. Our minibuses carry entire teams from LRD to the campus on University Boulevard, and our SUVs handle parents touring the city before orientation weekend.

Our Fleet for LRD Airport Transfers

Every vehicle is late model, detailed before each trip, and matched to your group size and luggage count. Union Limousine maintains the full range below for Laredo pickups, so one call covers a single traveler or a convention delegation.

Sedans (Up to 3 Passengers)

Black executive sedans for solo flyers and couples. Ideal for quick runs between LRD and hotels on Loop 20, downtown offices, or the medical district around Laredo Medical Center. Two large suitcases plus carry ons fit comfortably.

SUVs (Up to 6 Passengers)

Full size SUVs with generous cargo space. A strong choice for small executive teams, families with car seats, and anyone flying with golf bags, sample cases or trade show displays.

Stretch Limousines (Up to 20 Passengers)

Eight to twenty seat stretch limousines for quinceañera courts, wedding parties, bachelor and bachelorette weekends, and milestone birthdays. Premium sound, privacy partition and bar area come standard.

Sprinter Vans (Up to 14 Passengers)

Executive Sprinter vans with high roofs, captain chairs and rear luggage bays. Well suited to corporate retreats, site visit teams, and extended families arriving on the same flight.

Party Buses (Up to 30 Passengers)

Party buses with wraparound seating, mood lighting and premium audio for birthday celebrations, Laredo nightlife tours, and post event transfers back to the airport.

Mini Charter Buses (Up to 35 Passengers)

Mini coaches for athletic teams, church groups, school delegations and conference breakout groups traveling between LRD and venues across South Texas.

Full Size Charter Buses (Up to 56 Passengers)

Full size motor coaches with onboard restrooms, reclining seats and under floor luggage storage for conventions, cross border tour groups, and company wide events.

Brief History and Importance

The field that became LRD opened as Laredo Army Air Field during World War II and later served as Laredo Air Force Base, a jet pilot training installation that closed in 1973. The City of Laredo took over the property, and scheduled passenger flights moved there from the old municipal airport in 1975. Today the airport spans roughly 1,800 acres, operates a Federal Inspection Station for international arrivals, and ranks among the busiest air cargo gateways in Texas thanks to the auto parts, electronics and perishables moving between U.S. and Mexican manufacturers. In the FAA's preliminary count for calendar year 2025, LRD landed about 578 million pounds of all cargo freight, placing it inside the top 50 cargo airports in the country.

Airlines Operating from LRD

Four carriers currently serve the terminal. The airlines flying from Laredo are American Eagle, United Express, Allegiant, and Aerus, a Mexican regional carrier that launched the Monterrey route in late 2024. American Eagle carries close to six of every ten passengers, followed by United Express.

Domestic and International Destinations

  • Dallas Fort Worth International (DFW): American Eagle, roughly four daily rotations
  • George Bush Intercontinental, Houston (IAH): United Express, multiple daily flights
  • Harry Reid International, Las Vegas (LAS): Allegiant, twice weekly
  • Monterrey International (MTY), Mexico: Aerus, several flights per week

Terminal Information

LRD operates a single two level terminal. Ticketing, TSA screening and the rental car counters sit on the main floor, with the gate lounge, a quick service restaurant, and the UETA gift and duty free store beyond security. International arrivals from Monterrey clear Customs and Border Protection in the Federal Inspection Station attached to the terminal before reaching baggage claim.

Passenger Traffic

LRD handled about 274,000 passengers in 2025. Through the first four months of 2026 the airport recorded roughly 80,700 enplaned and deplaned passengers combined, and the FAA approved a master plan forecast in September 2025 that projects enplanements climbing past 230,000 a year by 2034 as nearshoring expands Laredo's economy.

Parking Overview

Lots and Daily Rates

Two surface lots front the terminal. The short term yellow section costs $10 per day and the long term red section $5 per day, with the first 30 minutes free in both. There is no covered parking and no valet.

Online Reservations

The airport's official parking portal now lets travelers prepay a space, which is worth doing during holiday weeks when the red lot fills up by midweek.

Accessible Spaces

Accessible stalls are marked in both sections closest to the terminal doors, and curb cuts lead directly to the entrance.

Pickup and Drop Off Guidance

Departing passengers are dropped at the curb outside the main terminal entrance, where our chauffeur unloads luggage and walks it to the door. Arriving passengers meet their chauffeur inside at baggage claim; the vehicle waits in the short term lot and pulls to the curb once the bags come off the belt. Our LRD airport car service follows the same routine for sedans and SUVs, and larger vehicles stage in the commercial area and roll forward when the whole group is ready.

Ground Transportation Options

Taxis wait outside baggage claim, rideshare drivers collect passengers at a marked zone, and several rental car agencies operate counters inside the terminal. El Metro runs Laredo's public bus network from its downtown transit center but has no stop at the terminal, so travelers without a car rely on taxis, rideshare or a prearranged chauffeur.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Laredo runs on Central Time; update your watch before the connection at DFW or IAH.
  • Arrivals from Monterrey should allow 30 to 45 minutes for CBP processing before meeting a chauffeur.
  • Summer afternoons often top 100°F, so our chauffeurs run the air conditioning before you board.
  • Ask for a bilingual chauffeur if your group includes Spanish speaking relatives or clients.
  • Carry the physical confirmation or a screenshot; cell coverage inside the terminal can lag.

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Is the Easier Choice at LRD?

Taxi availability thins after the last evening arrival, and rideshare pricing jumps when the Dallas and Houston flights land within minutes of each other. A prebooked chauffeur tracks your flight, waits inside with a name sign, loads your luggage, and charges the fare you agreed to in advance. For groups, a single Sprinter or coach replaces a convoy of separate cars and keeps everyone on the same schedule.

Local Areas and Nearby Airports We Serve from LRD

Laredo Landmarks and Neighborhoods

Our Texas limo service runs from LRD to San Agustín Plaza downtown, the Laredo Center for the Arts, Sames Auto Arena, Mall del Norte, and the hotels clustered along Bob Bullock Loop and Interstate 35. Lake Casa Blanca International State Park shares the same loop as the airport, a five minute ride for families heading straight to the water. Other frequent drops include Texas A&M International University, Doctors Hospital, the North Laredo shopping corridor, and the warehouse parks along Mines Road and Killam Industrial Boulevard.

Connecting Airports Across South Texas

When fares favor a bigger hub, we connect Laredo travelers with San Antonio International, about 150 miles north on Interstate 35, through our San Antonio (SAT) airport limo service. We also run coastal transfers to Corpus Christi International and Rio Grande Valley transfers to McAllen International, and we coordinate licensed partners for guests continuing to Quetzalcóatl International Airport in Nuevo Laredo.

Your chauffeur waits inside the terminal at baggage claim holding a sign with your name. Once your bags arrive, the vehicle is brought to the curb outside the main entrance. If you prefer a curbside pickup without the greeting, tell us when booking and we will text you the vehicle details on landing.

Sedans and SUVs can usually be confirmed with 24 hours of notice, and same day requests are often possible. Stretch limousines, Sprinter vans and charter buses book up quickly around graduation season, quinceañera weekends and the holidays, so we recommend reserving those at least one week ahead.

Yes. Our dispatch team tracks every inbound flight in real time and adjusts your pickup automatically. Delays, early arrivals and gate changes at LRD are handled on our end, and you are never charged waiting time for airline delays.

We drive you to the international bridge and coordinate a licensed Mexican partner for the remaining leg, since U.S. commercial vehicles have insurance limits across the border. Many clients choose a sedan to the bridge and a partner vehicle on the other side, with one confirmation covering both.

The airport sits about four miles from downtown, so a sedan transfer is one of the shortest airport rides in Texas. Pricing depends on vehicle class, time of day and any stops, and every quote is fixed before pickup with fuel and airport fees included. Request a quote online for an exact figure.

No. Airline delays are absorbed by our flight tracking, and the first 30 minutes after a scheduled domestic arrival or 60 minutes after an international arrival are included. Waiting time applies only when a passenger asks the chauffeur to hold beyond that window for personal reasons.

A 14 passenger Sprinter van handles most courts with luggage, and a stretch limousine seats up to 20 when the family wants the full celebration on the ride from the airport. For larger extended families, a 30 passenger party bus or a mini coach keeps everyone together.

Yes. Infant, convertible and booster seats are available on request for sedans, SUVs and Sprinter vans at no extra charge. Let us know the ages of the children when you reserve so the chauffeur installs the right seats before leaving for LRD.

Absolutely. Long distance transfers up Interstate 35 are a regular part of our Laredo schedule, including San Antonio, Austin, and the Eagle Ford towns between them. Sprinter vans and coaches include rest stops on request, and one way or round trip pricing is quoted in advance.

Most of our Laredo team speaks English and Spanish fluently, and bilingual service can be guaranteed when you request it at booking. Chauffeurs are licensed, background checked, and trained on airport meet and greet procedures and cross border travel logistics.
