What we offer

Eagle County Regional (EGE) Airport Limo Service

Corporate planners and wedding parties count on our Eagle County Regional (EGE) Airport Limo Service for manifests, dedicated chauffeurs and Sprinter vans that carry complete groups into Beaver Creek.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Eagle County Regional (EGE) Airport

Flights into Gypsum touch down at 6,547 feet, and the first thing most passengers want after a mountain approach is a warm vehicle with a driver who already knows the road to Vail. Our Eagle County Regional (EGE) Airport Limo Service meets you at the terminal curb, loads your skis, boots and luggage, and carries you up Interstate 70 to your resort door. Union Limousine has run chauffeured ground transportation since 1997, and the standards we hold at the busiest coastal hubs apply to every pickup at this Colorado airport limo service point in the Eagle River Valley: a confirmed chauffeur, a flight tracked arrival and a quoted fare that stays the same when the snow starts.

EGE is the closest commercial airport to Vail, Beaver Creek, Avon and Edwards, and it is a short run west to Glenwood Springs. In winter the airport welcomes nonstop flights from 16 cities, and on peak Saturdays the terminal handles over 30 commercial movements in a single day. Those passengers all compete for a limited pool of taxis and resort shuttles at the same moment. A pre booked EGE airport car service removes that scramble completely, because your vehicle is parked and your chauffeur is standing in the arrivals hall before the aircraft reaches the gate.

Why Travelers Choose Our EGE Airport Limo Service in Colorado?

Flight Tracked Pickups at the Gypsum Terminal

Every reservation is tied to your flight number. We watch the inbound leg from its origin hub, so a United flight that pushes back late from Denver or an American flight held on the ground at Dallas Fort Worth simply moves your pickup time with it. Airline delays never add to your fare, and if your flight arrives early, your chauffeur is already in position because we build a buffer into every mountain run. Once you clear baggage claim, your chauffeur greets you with a name sign and walks you the short distance to the vehicle.

Chauffeurs Who Know Interstate 70 and Vail Pass

The drive from Gypsum to Vail follows Interstate 70 east through Eagle, Edwards and Avon, climbing steadily before the final stretch into the Vail valley. Continue past Vail and the highway crests Vail Pass at 10,662 feet on the way to Copper Mountain and Summit County. The Interstate System was engineered for all weather travel, yet a Colorado winter still demands proper tires, chain law awareness and patience when the state meters traffic through the tunnels. Our chauffeurs drive this corridor in every season, carry the equipment required on traction law days, and know which exits lead to Lionshead, Vail Village and the Beaver Creek gate without glancing at a phone.

Flat Fares and Door to Door Delivery

Mountain transfers are quoted as flat rates based on the route and the vehicle, never on a running meter. The fare you confirm online or by phone includes the chauffeur, fuel and the airport permit fees that licensed ground transportation operators pay to work at EGE. Gratuity decisions stay with you. Union Limousine delivers you to the exact address on your booking, which matters when a Beaver Creek residence sits behind a gatehouse or a Vail condominium has a loading zone that rideshare drivers routinely miss.

Where We Take You From Eagle County Regional Airport?

Vail, Beaver Creek and the Resort Villages

Vail Village and Lionshead lie roughly 35 miles east of the airport, about 40 minutes in clear conditions. Beaver Creek, including Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead, is closer at around 25 miles. Skiers who have read the Vail travel guide know the resort covers about 5,300 skiable acres and that Beaver Creek offers a quieter alternative a short drive west. Our chauffeurs deliver guests to the Sonnenalp, the Four Seasons, The Arrabelle, the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek, The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch and private homes in East Vail, Cordillera and Singletree, with ski storage handled at the vehicle so nothing gets left in a lobby.

Eagle, Gypsum, Edwards and Avon

The towns closest to the terminal are easy for visitors to overlook, yet they are where a large share of our local clients live and work. Gypsum sits four miles from the airport, Eagle is a ten minute drive east, and Edwards and Avon follow the river toward Riverfront Village and the Westin Riverfront at the base of the Beaver Creek gondola. Residents booking an Eagle County car service for an early departure receive a confirmed pickup time the evening before and a text when the chauffeur is outside. For business travelers calling on Vail Health, the Eagle County offices or the Vail Valley Partnership, we provide hourly service so the vehicle stays with you between meetings.

Longer Transfers: Glenwood Springs, Aspen, Summit County and Denver

Interstate 70 west leads through Glenwood Canyon to Glenwood Springs in about 35 minutes, and from there State Highway 82 climbs the Roaring Fork Valley to Basalt, Snowmass and Aspen in roughly an hour and a half. Heading east, Copper Mountain, Frisco, Breckenridge and Keystone are reachable in 60 to 80 minutes depending on conditions at Vail Pass. We also run the full 135 mile transfer to Denver International Airport for passengers whose EGE flight was cancelled or who prefer to connect through a larger hub. Every long route in our Colorado limo service network is priced as a single flat fare, with rest stops on request.

Our Fleet for EGE Airport Transfers

Mountain terrain, ski equipment and winter weather shape the vehicles we send to Gypsum. Each option below is inspected before every winter season, fitted with all wheel drive or four wheel drive where the class allows, and matched to the group size and luggage count you share at booking.

Sedans and SUVs

  • Sedans (up to 3 passengers): executive sedans for solo travelers and couples heading to Vail Village, Beaver Creek or a meeting in Edwards. Ideal for carry on luggage and a single ski bag, and the quietest ride for business arrivals.
  • SUVs (up to 6 passengers): full size SUVs with ski racks or rooftop boxes available on request. The most popular choice for families landing at EGE with boots, helmets and multiple checked bags, and the vehicle we recommend on snowy days.

Stretch Limousines and Sprinter Vans

  • Stretch Limousines (up to 20 passengers): for wedding parties, milestone birthdays and bachelor or bachelorette weekends arriving as one group. Best suited to Vail Village, Avon and Edwards addresses with wide loading areas; we confirm access before committing to narrow resort side streets.
  • Sprinter Vans (up to 14 passengers): high roof vans with a rear luggage area that swallows a dozen ski bags. The right fit for extended families sharing a ski house, corporate retreat groups and tour operators moving guests to Beaver Creek lodges.

Party Buses and Charter Buses

  • Party Buses (up to 30 passengers): perimeter seating, sound systems and lighting for groups who want the celebration to begin at the airport. Popular for Vail Snow Days, GoPro Mountain Games weekends and large reunion arrivals.
  • Mini Charter Buses (up to 35 passengers): forward facing seats and undercarriage luggage bays for conference groups, ski clubs and youth teams arriving on the same flight bank.
  • Full Size Charter Buses (up to 56 passengers): the largest option, used for corporate incentive trips, destination weddings and tour groups transferring from EGE to Vail, Beaver Creek or Aspen. Oversized vehicles stage away from the public lots, and we coordinate the loading point with airport operations in advance.

EGE Airport Limo Service for Every Occasion

Ski Season Arrivals and Group Lodging Transfers

From mid December to early April the Eagle River Valley fills with skiers, and the Saturday flight banks at EGE are the busiest the airport sees all year. Families splitting a chalet in Bachelor Gulch, friends sharing a condo at Lionshead and ski clubs booked into Avon all need the same thing: enough vehicle space for people and gear. A single booking through our Colorado Sprinter van service carries up to 14 passengers with skis loaded securely in the rear, so nobody waits in the cold for a second taxi.

Corporate Retreats, Weddings and Private Events

Vail and Beaver Creek host executive offsites, medical conferences at the Vail Health campus, summer weddings at Donovan Pavilion and winter celebrations at Beano's Cabin. We provide arrival manifests for event planners, assign dedicated chauffeurs to VIPs, and run shuttle loops between the terminal and the venue so every guest on a staggered arrival schedule is collected without delay. Name signage, bottled water and a quiet cabin come standard; onboard wifi and child seats are available on request.

Private Jet and Signature Aviation Arrivals

General aviation traffic at EGE uses the Signature Aviation terminal on the south side of the field, separate from the commercial building. Our chauffeurs know the FBO entrance and its pickup protocol, and we coordinate directly with flight crews so the vehicle is positioned as the aircraft taxis in. For international arrivals, we wait outside the US Customs facility until clearance is complete and then continue to your destination.

History and Regional Importance

The airfield began in the 1930s as an emergency landing strip on the Denver to Los Angeles air route and was formally dedicated on September 14, 1947. For four decades it served general aviation, and in 1989 it recorded just 277 commercial passengers. By 2015 that figure had grown to 320,111. The 1996 opening of a 36,000 square foot, nine million dollar terminal was followed by a 30,000 square foot expansion in 2001, a permanent control tower in November 2003, an instrument landing system in 2006 and a $40 million runway project in 2009 that stretched the pavement to 9,000 feet so heavier jets could depart with full range. The 2019 Terminal Expansion added jet bridges, a larger restaurant and bar, a nursing room and a pet relief area. A 2013 Colorado Department of Transportation study measured the airport's economic impact at $635.9 million and 6,294 jobs, and the facility remains the primary air gateway for Vail, Beaver Creek and the entire Eagle River Valley.

Airlines Operating from EGE

Four carriers serve the airport. United Airlines flies year round to Denver with seasonal service to Chicago O'Hare, Houston, Los Angeles, Newark and San Francisco, and from December 20, 2025 through April 4, 2026 it adds Saturday flights to Washington Dulles. American Airlines operates Dallas Fort Worth year round plus seasonal Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York JFK and Phoenix, and it introduced daily Charlotte service between December 18, 2025 and January 5, 2026. Delta Air Lines runs December through March flights from Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York JFK and Minneapolis St. Paul, with the last two new for the 2025 to 2026 winter. Alaska Airlines flies from Seattle and San Diego from December to March and expanded San Diego to four days a week after a strong first season.

Domestic Destinations by Season

  • Year round: Denver (DEN) and Dallas Fort Worth (DFW), with Chicago O'Hare and Houston Intercontinental flown through most of the calendar.
  • Winter only: Atlanta, Charlotte, Los Angeles, Miami, Minneapolis St. Paul, Newark, New York JFK, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington Dulles.
  • Sixteen nonstop winter destinations in total for the 2025 to 2026 season, the largest schedule in the airport's history.

Terminal Information

The single 120,000 square foot terminal is compact enough to walk end to end in a few minutes. Ticketing, the security checkpoint with its four screening lanes, baggage claim and the rental car counters share one level. Winter 2025 to 2026 brought a seventh dedicated gate, converted from a former emergency door, and new automated TSA exit lanes that let passengers leave the secure area without waiting for an agent to lift a grate. Free wifi runs throughout, a post security restaurant and bar serves full meals, and the Alpenglo Express kiosk sells food and retail before security. Ten aircraft parking positions on the apron accommodate jets up to the Boeing 757.

Passenger Traffic

The airport recorded 289,867 enplanements and 58,004 aircraft operations in 2024. Through October 2025, boardings ran 12.5 percent ahead of 2024 and 33 percent above the three year average, putting the airport on course for its best year on record. Airport leadership has noted that one runway and seven gates place a ceiling on winter growth, which is why the schedule now carries about nine commercial flights a day in the shoulder seasons and over 30 on peak winter Saturdays. The History Channel once ranked the field among the most demanding airports in the United States because of its elevation, surrounding terrain and approach path.

Parking Overview

Three public lots surround the terminal. Terminal Parking A ($14 daily maximum) and Terminal Parking B ($12 daily maximum) sit directly in front of the building and are entered from the south end of the loop road, while the Economy Lot ($8 daily maximum) is a short walk west and reached from Cooley Mesa Road. All three give the first hour free and then charge $2 per hour until the daily cap. Drivers take a ticket on entry and pay at the exit gate with chip, tap, Apple Pay or Google Pay, and prepaid reservations of 24 hours or longer can be made for the terminal lots. Current rates and lot maps are published on the airport's parking page, and trailers, RVs and buses are not allowed in any public lot without prior approval.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

The terminal loop road runs along the front of the building, with departures drop off and arrivals pickup sharing the same curb. Private vehicles may stop briefly to load and unload but cannot wait, and airport staff direct traffic on busy winter afternoons. Licensed limousine and shuttle operators collect passengers from the commercial vehicle area outside baggage claim. For our clients the routine is simple: gather your bags, text or call the number on your confirmation, and your chauffeur brings the vehicle to the curb while you wait inside the heated terminal.

Ground Transportation Options

Passengers without a reservation can choose among the resort shuttle companies registered with the airport, hotel vans from properties such as the Sonnenalp and the Westin Riverfront, seven on site rental car brands and the public bus. Core Transit, operated by the Eagle Valley Transportation Authority, links Gypsum, Eagle, Edwards, Avon and Vail on its Valley route, and several of its routes are fare free in summer. Buses are economical but follow fixed timetables and require a walk with luggage to the stop, which is a tall order with ski bags on a January evening.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

Altitude, Weather and Timing

The airport sits at 6,547 feet and Vail Village is above 8,000 feet, so drink water on the flight and keep your first evening light. Mountain weather changes quickly; a clear morning in Gypsum can become heavy snow on Vail Pass by afternoon, and inbound flights occasionally hold or divert when visibility drops. Leave a buffer around dinner reservations on your arrival day, and if you are continuing to Aspen or Summit County, allow an extra half hour in winter.

Winter Packing Note

Keep a jacket, gloves and shoes with grip in your carry on. Checked bags occasionally arrive on a later flight during storm cycles, and the walk from the terminal door to a vehicle is short but cold.

Why a Pre Booked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at EGE?

Rideshare coverage in the Eagle River Valley is thin. Drivers are scarce in Gypsum, surge pricing climbs sharply when a bank of flights lands together, and many drivers decline the 35 mile run to Vail because the return leg comes back empty. Taxis exist but are limited in number and often committed to prearranged trips. A reservation with us guarantees a vehicle sized to your group, a chauffeur who is already parked when you land, and a fare fixed at booking. Union Limousine also carries the commercial insurance and airport permits that casual drivers lack, which counts for a great deal on a mountain highway in February.

Reserve Your Eagle County Regional (EGE) Airport Limo Today

Confirm your transfer before you fly and the mountain leg of the trip takes care of itself. Share your flight number, passenger count and luggage details, and we will return a quote and confirmation within minutes. Reservations with Union Limousine can be made online at any hour or by phone with a live agent, and our wider limo service covers round trips, hourly bookings and multi stop itineraries across the valley. Winter weekends and holiday periods sell out early, so secure your dates as soon as your flights are ticketed.

About 35 miles east on Interstate 70, which takes roughly 40 minutes in dry conditions and up to an hour or longer during heavy snow or holiday traffic. Beaver Creek is closer at around 25 miles, and Avon and Edwards are closer still.

Yes. We monitor every inbound flight from its departure hub, and your pickup time moves automatically with the airline's updated arrival. Delays add nothing to your fare, and early arrivals are covered by the buffer we schedule on every mountain transfer.

Absolutely. Note the number of ski or snowboard bags when you book and we will assign an SUV with a rack or rooftop box. For larger groups, our Sprinter vans carry gear inside a rear luggage area so skis never ride on the roof.

Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall beside baggage claim holding a sign with your name. If you prefer a curbside pickup, text the number on your confirmation once your bags appear and the vehicle will pull up to the terminal curb.

Twenty four hours is ideal, and peak Saturdays between December and March fill up days in advance. We accept same day requests whenever a vehicle is available, so call if your plans change at the last minute.

Yes. We deliver to the Park Hyatt, The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch, Arrowhead and private residences inside the gates. Share the property name and any gate instructions at booking and your chauffeur will have them on hand.

Yes. Our Sprinter vans seat up to 14 passengers and hold ski bags, boot bags and suitcases in a separate rear compartment. For groups above 14, we pair vehicles or move you to a mini charter bus with undercarriage storage.

Many clients do. Late evening flights, altitude, fatigue and winter road conditions on Vail Pass are a difficult combination for a driver unfamiliar with the corridor. Our chauffeurs drive it year round with the right tires and traction equipment.

Yes. We coordinate with your flight crew, position the vehicle at the FBO as the aircraft taxis in, and wait outside US Customs for international arrivals. Hourly service is available if the aircraft is returning the same day.

Tell us as soon as the airline confirms the diversion and we will reposition a chauffeur to Denver International Airport for the 135 mile drive to the valley. The original EGE booking is cancelled without charge and the new transfer is quoted as a flat fare.
