What we offer

Glacier Park International (FCA) Airport Limo Service

Wedding parties, winter groups and business travelers count on our Glacier Park International (FCA) Airport limo service for sedans, SUVs, Sprinter vans and coaches sized to every group and itinerary.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Glacier Park International (FCA) Airport

Flights into Kalispell keep their own schedule, and the drive onward to Whitefish, Bigfork, Columbia Falls or the west entrance of Glacier National Park should be the calm part of the day. Our Glacier Park International (FCA) Airport limo service places a licensed chauffeur at the curb of the newly expanded terminal the moment your bags reach the carousel. Union Limousine runs this route as part of a wider Montana airport limo service, so the standards you expect in a major city follow you into the Flathead Valley: a tracked flight, a confirmed vehicle, a fixed price and a driver who already knows where you are headed.

Why Travelers Pick Our FCA Airport Limo Service?

Glacier Park International handled over 1.1 million passengers in 2025, and most of them arrive in a tight summer window when rental counters run out of cars and rideshare drivers are stretched thin across the valley. A reservation with Union Limousine removes that gamble. We confirm your pickup in writing, watch your inbound flight, and hold the booking through delays at no extra charge. The experience is built around a few promises we keep on every FCA transfer:

  • Flight tracking on every arrival, so a late connection through Denver or Salt Lake City never leaves you waiting at the curb
  • Fixed quotes agreed before the trip, with tolls, fuel and standard wait time already included
  • Chauffeurs who know the US Highway 2 corridor, Big Mountain Road in winter and the Going to the Sun Road reservation rules in summer
  • Meet and greet inside the Great Hall on request, with help carrying ski bags, fly rod tubes and oversized luggage
  • Child seats, ski racks and extra luggage space arranged at booking time, never improvised at the airport
  • Twenty four hour dispatch, which matters when the first departure bank leaves FCA before sunrise

Where We Drive From Glacier Park International?

The airport sits on US Highway 2 between Kalispell and Columbia Falls, which makes it a short run to almost every community in the Flathead Valley and a comfortable drive to the national park. These are the transfers we handle most often.

Kalispell and the Flathead Valley

Downtown Kalispell is roughly nine miles from the terminal. We serve hotels along US Highway 93, Logan Health Medical Center, Flathead Valley Community College, the Conrad Mansion neighborhood and the business parks near Hutton Ranch. Evergreen, which borders the airport side of town, is often under fifteen minutes door to door.

Whitefish and Whitefish Mountain Resort

Whitefish lies about fifteen minutes north of FCA, and the resort base area on Big Mountain Road is close to half an hour in good conditions. Winter guests appreciate a chauffeur who carries chains, knows the switchbacks and can load skis and boards without a second thought. Summer guests use the same route for the Whitefish Lake shoreline, the downtown dining strip and the Amtrak Empire Builder platform.

Glacier National Park Gateways

West Glacier and the Apgar Village area are around thirty miles from the airport, with Columbia Falls and Hungry Horse along the way. We also run transfers to lodges and ranches near Essex, and we can position a vehicle for guests who want to be dropped at one trailhead and collected at another. Longer rides to East Glacier, St. Mary or Many Glacier are quoted in advance and timed around the park's seasonal road status.

Flathead Lake Towns

Bigfork, Lakeside, Somers and Polson draw wedding parties, summer residents and lake house guests through FCA all season long. The eastern shore route along Montana Highway 35 and the western shore along US Highway 93 both have their own rhythm, and our chauffeurs choose the smoother option for the hour you are traveling.

Longer Transfers Across Montana

When a Kalispell flight is sold out or a group needs to reach another part of the state, we run intercity transfers to Missoula, Great Falls, Helena and the Eureka area near the Roosville border crossing. A single chauffeur, a single invoice and no transfers between vehicles.

Our Fleet for FCA Airport Transfers

Every vehicle in the fleet is late model, detailed before each trip, and sized to the passenger count and luggage you tell us about at booking. Choose from the categories below or let a reservation specialist match one to your itinerary.

Sedans (Up to 3 Passengers)

Executive sedans suit solo business travelers, couples and small families flying into Kalispell with standard luggage. They are the usual choice for hotel transfers, medical appointments at Logan Health and quick runs to downtown Whitefish.

SUVs (Up to 6 Passengers)

Full size SUVs carry up to six passengers with room left for ski bags, golf clubs and camping gear. Their ground clearance and traction make them the default pick for Big Mountain Road in winter and for gravel approaches to ranch properties around the valley.

Stretch Limousines (Up to 20 Passengers)

Stretch limousines turn an airport pickup into the opening scene of a wedding weekend at Flathead Lake, an anniversary trip or a milestone birthday. They are also a favorite for welcoming executives and VIP guests at the Great Hall.

Sprinter Vans (Up to 14 Passengers)

Sprinter vans give families, bachelor and bachelorette groups, and corporate teams a tall, comfortable cabin with generous luggage space. They fit the park road corridors well and are a practical answer for ski groups heading to Whitefish Mountain Resort with gear for everyone.

Party Buses (Up to 30 Passengers)

Party buses handle wedding guest shuttles between FCA, hotels in Kalispell and venues around Bigfork or Columbia Falls, as well as brewery tours and celebration transfers where the ride is part of the fun.

Mini Charter Buses (Up to 35 Passengers)

Mini charter buses move conference delegations, athletic teams and tour groups from the airport to lodges, retreat centers and the park's west side with undercarriage storage for luggage and equipment.

Full Size Charter Buses (Up to 56 Passengers)

Full size motorcoaches serve large incentive groups, destination weddings and tour operators that fly a whole party into Glacier Park International on one or two flights. Restrooms, reclining seats and climate control make the longer runs to East Glacier or Missoula easy on everyone.

Airport Limo Service Occasions in Montana, MT

The same chauffeurs who meet arrivals at FCA cover the rest of the state through our Montana limo service, which means a trip can start at the airport and continue to a lake wedding, a ranch retreat or a multi day corporate program without changing providers. Business travelers use a dependable Montana car service for site visits, medical consultations and investor meetings in Kalispell and Whitefish. Larger delegations that arrive on the same flight can combine sedans for executives with a Montana airport charter bus service for the rest of the team, all coordinated by one dispatcher. Union Limousine also supports ski weeks, fishing trips on the Flathead River, golf outings and family reunions that gather from several cities at once.

Glacier Park International (FCA) Airport Information

Glacier Park International Airport is the main commercial gateway to northwest Montana, Glacier National Park and the resort communities of the Flathead Valley. The details below help you plan an arrival or departure with confidence.

Brief History and Importance

The field opened in 1942 as Flathead County Airport, which is where the FCA code comes from. Northwest Airlines began scheduled service in 1950, and the airport received its current name and international designation in 1970. Jet service from Hughes Airwest, Western, Delta, Frontier and Horizon Air followed through the 1970s and 1980s. Since 1974 the airport has been owned and operated by the Flathead Municipal Airport Authority, a public agency created by the county, and it sits about six miles northeast of the city of Kalispell, the county seat and commercial hub of the region. Passenger counts climbed from under 250,000 in 2014 to over 1.1 million in 2025, which makes FCA the second busiest airport in Montana after Bozeman and the busiest by far in the western half of the state.

Airlines Operating From FCA

Six passenger airlines serve Glacier Park International, with several regional partners flying under their brands. United is the largest carrier by passengers, followed by Delta, SkyWest, Horizon Air and American. The current lineup includes:

  • Alaska Airlines, with Horizon Air and SkyWest flying its routes to the Pacific Northwest
  • Allegiant Air, serving leisure markets in Nevada and Arizona
  • American Airlines and American Eagle, with summer season flights to its hubs
  • Delta Air Lines and Delta Connection, with year round hub service
  • Sun Country Airlines, with seasonal flights from the Upper Midwest
  • United Airlines and United Express, with year round Denver service plus seasonal coastal and Midwest routes

Domestic Destinations

Year round nonstop flights link FCA with Denver, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Seattle/Tacoma, Portland and Las Vegas. Seasonal service, concentrated in summer and the ski season, adds Chicago O'Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, New York LaGuardia, Newark, Houston Intercontinental, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Austin, Phoenix Sky Harbor and Phoenix/Mesa. Between August 2025 and July 2026 the busiest routes were Denver with about 129,000 passengers, Salt Lake City with about 89,000, Seattle with about 67,000, Minneapolis with about 67,000 and Chicago with about 62,000. There are no scheduled international flights at present, so Canadian travelers from Alberta and British Columbia typically drive in through the Roosville or Carway crossings.

Terminal Information

FCA operates a single terminal that has just finished a multi phase expansion begun in spring 2021. Phase 1A opened in March 2024 with new hold rooms, a larger security checkpoint and administrative space. Phase 1B opened in May 2025 with a renovated ticketing lobby, the central atrium and a refreshed baggage claim. The final phase opened in spring 2026 with additional hold rooms and a third baggage carousel. The finished building covers about 210,000 square feet of new and renovated space, up from roughly 75,000, at a total cost near 160 million dollars.

The Great Hall

The centerpiece is a timber framed Great Hall inspired by the historic lodges of Glacier National Park, with exposed wood joinery, stone and tall glass walls that look toward the mountains. Ticketing, security and baggage claim all open onto it, so meeting a chauffeur here is simple: our drivers stand near baggage claim with a name board unless you ask for a curbside pickup.

Security and Baggage

The expanded checkpoint uses computed tomography scanners for carry on screening, and an inline baggage system screens checked bags behind the scenes. Six new passenger boarding bridges serve the gate areas, with a seventh planned to replace the last ramp loaded gate. Food, drink and a Montana gift shop are available both before and after security.

Quick Facts

Airport code FCA (FAA identifier GPI). Address 4170 US Highway 2, Kalispell, MT 59901. Phone +1 406 257 5994. Official website iflyglacier.com. Elevation 2,976 feet. Main runway 2/20 at 9,007 feet. Named one of USA TODAY's 10Best Resort Airports for 2026.

Passenger Traffic

Federal Aviation Administration figures show 560,307 enplanements and 554,184 deplanements in 2025, a combined 1,114,491 passengers. July and August are the peak months, driven by visitors to Glacier National Park, while the winter season brings a second wave for Whitefish Mountain Resort. Off season traffic has also grown as new residents settle in the valley, which is why flights now run close to full for much of the year and why advance ground transportation matters.

Parking Overview

The main lot adjoins the terminal, is lit and patrolled, and operates twenty four hours a day. The first twenty minutes are free, then the rate is two dollars for each twenty minute block, capped at eighteen dollars per day and 108 dollars per week. The overflow and cell phone lot offers the first two hours free, then the same block rate with a fifteen dollar daily cap and a ninety dollar weekly cap. Pay stations are located in baggage claim and at the exit lanes. During peak summer weeks the main lot fills early in the day, and travelers who leave a car for ten days or longer pay as much as a round trip chauffeured transfer would have cost.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

A single loop road serves the terminal front. Departing passengers are dropped at the ticketing entrance, and arriving passengers walk out through baggage claim to the pickup curb. Private vehicles may stop only long enough to load, and drivers who need to wait are directed to the cell phone lot. Our chauffeurs stage nearby and pull up to the arrivals curb once your flight has landed and you are ready, so there is no circling and no second phone call. If your plans change mid trip, a text to dispatch is enough to move the pickup time.

Ground Transportation Options

Hertz, Avis, Budget, National and Alamo maintain counters inside the terminal, with Dollar, Enterprise and Thrifty operating off airport shuttles. Uber and Lyft are permitted, several local taxi and shuttle operators run on demand, and some Kalispell and Whitefish hotels offer courtesy vans. There is no scheduled public bus to the terminal: Flathead County's Mountain Climber bus system, formerly Eagle Transit, serves Kalispell, Whitefish and Columbia Falls but does not stop at the airport. Amtrak's Empire Builder calls at Whitefish, about fifteen minutes away, for travelers combining rail and air.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Glacier National Park may require a timed vehicle reservation for the Going to the Sun Road corridor in summer; check the current rules before you commit to a morning drive
  • Summer flights are frequently full, so send your flight number to your chauffeur as soon as it is ticketed and we will track it automatically
  • Mountain weather changes quickly; a jacket in your carry on is useful even on a July arrival
  • Whitefish Mountain Resort is about thirty minutes from the terminal, and the Whitefish Mountain Resort getting here page lists seasonal road notes for Big Mountain Road
  • The Discover Kalispell travel tips page covers downtown parking, visitor center hours and seasonal events worth timing a trip around
  • Cell coverage fades west of Columbia Falls and inside the park, so download maps and confirm your return pickup before you leave the valley
  • If you arrive on a late evening flight, ask for a chauffeur with a meet and greet so you are not searching for a ride after the rental counters close

Why a Pre Booked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at FCA?

Kalispell is a small market with a seasonal surge. On a peak July evening, a dozen flights can land within two hours and release hundreds of passengers into a rideshare pool that may have only a handful of drivers nearby. Surge pricing follows, estimated wait times stretch past thirty minutes, and long trips to Polson or East Glacier are often declined outright. Taxis are limited in number and cannot always accommodate ski bags or groups larger than four. A pre booked chauffeur solves every one of those problems. The vehicle is assigned the night before, the price was fixed when you booked, the driver is already at the airport when you taxi to the gate, and the vehicle is sized for your people and your gear. For a business traveler on a schedule or a family arriving with children after a long day, that certainty is the whole point.
