What we offer

Glasgow Valley County (GGW) Airport Limo Service

Business travelers connecting through Billings get a quiet sedan, and group tours get a coach. Glasgow Valley County (GGW) Airport Limo Service fits every party size on the Hi Line, with flat pricing.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Glasgow Valley County (GGW) Airport

Wokal Field sits a single mile northeast of downtown Glasgow, and every Cape Air flight that arrives from Billings lands on pavement first laid for wartime bomber crews. Today the terminal is small, the parking lot is close, and the drive to anywhere worth going in Valley County starts the moment you step outside. Our Montana airport limo service puts a licensed chauffeur at that door for your exact arrival, with a clean vehicle sized for your party and a route already mapped to Fort Peck, Nashua, St. Marie, Wolf Point, Malta or the far reaches of the Hi Line. Union Limousine has coordinated airport ground transportation since 1997, and GGW receives the same attention we give the busiest hubs in the country.

Why Montana Travelers Choose a Chauffeur at GGW?

Northeast Montana rewards travelers who plan ahead. Glasgow is a two hour drive from the nearest interstate, taxis are scarce, and rideshare apps often show no cars at all. A confirmed chauffeur removes that uncertainty. You get a named driver, a fixed quote, a vehicle that matches the number of seats and bags you need, and a pickup time tied to the Cape Air schedule, with no guesswork on either side.

Service Timed to the Cape Air Schedule

Cape Air operates two round trips a day between Glasgow and Billings Logan International, with the morning departure leaving Wokal Field before 8 a.m. and the second rotation arriving early in the afternoon on most days. Union Limousine tracks each tail number from the moment it leaves Billings. If a flight holds for weather over the Musselshell or Yellowstone valleys, your chauffeur adjusts without a phone call from you. When the aircraft parks on the ramp, your vehicle is already waiting outside the terminal, warm in January and cool in July.

Built for Hi Line Distances

Distances here are measured in hours. Fort Peck is 17 miles south on Highway 24. Wolf Point is 50 miles east on US 2. Malta is 70 miles west. Havre is about 150 miles away and Billings is roughly 280 miles by road. Our vehicles are maintained for long highway legs, our chauffeurs know where the cell signal drops and where the deer cross at dusk, and our pricing is quoted in full before you ride, with no surprise mileage charges after the fact.

Where a GGW Chauffeur Can Take You?

A pickup at Wokal Field is only the first leg. Popular destinations from the airport include:

  • Fort Peck and Fort Peck Lake: the marina, the Fort Peck Summer Theatre, the Interpretive Center and lakeside lodges 17 miles south of town
  • Glasgow itself: hotels along US 2, the Valley County Pioneer Museum, Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital, the Civic Center and the downtown business district
  • St. Marie and the former Glasgow Air Force Base north of town
  • Nashua, Hinsdale, Saco and Opheim across Valley County
  • Wolf Point, Poplar and the Fort Peck Indian Reservation to the east
  • Malta and Phillips County to the west, including Bowdoin National Wildlife Refuge
  • Longer runs to Havre, Sidney, Glendive, Miles City and Billings when a road transfer suits the itinerary

We also run reverse trips: a chauffeur collects you at a Fort Peck cabin or a Glasgow hotel and delivers you to the Cape Air counter with time to spare. Many clients pair a GGW arrival with a Montana limo service booking for the rest of their stay, keeping one chauffeur for hospital visits in Billings, ranch tours or a wedding weekend at the lake.

Glasgow Valley County (GGW) Airport Information

Brief History and Importance

The field opened on November 10, 1942 as Glasgow Army Air Field, a satellite of the Great Falls base where heavy bomber crews completed the second phase of their training before shipping out to England. A prisoner of war camp followed in late 1944, the War Assets Administration took the surplus field in 1946, and Frontier Airlines began the first civilian flights with propeller airliners in 1959. Frontier stayed until 1980. Big Sky Airlines, Great Lakes and Silver Airways each held the route in turn, and Cape Air has flown it since December 2013 under the federal EAS program. The airport is owned jointly by the City of Glasgow and Valley County and carries the secondary name Wokal Field in honor of Vic Wokal, the longtime manager who anchored local aviation for decades. The 2026 Montana Department of Transportation economic impact study lists it among the state's commercial service airports, and for a county of fewer than 8,000 residents it is the only scheduled link to the national air system.

Airlines Operating From GGW

Cape Air is the only scheduled airline at Wokal Field. The Hyannis based carrier flies nine passenger Cessna 402 aircraft and holds the Department of Transportation contract for Glasgow, Glendive, Havre, Sidney and Wolf Point through December 31, 2027. Fares start at $39 each way with taxes included, and interline agreements with Delta, United, American and Alaska let you check bags through to a final destination beyond Billings. The Glasgow ticket counter answers at 406 317 5354.

Domestic Destinations

Billings Logan International (BIL) is the sole nonstop destination, served twice daily year round with a flight time of about 90 minutes. Some rotations continue to Wolf Point on a tag, which is why L.M. Clayton Airport appears as the second most common pairing in federal passenger data. From Billings, connections open to Denver, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis, Seattle, Phoenix, Dallas and Chicago.

Terminal Information

A single story terminal handles every passenger. Inside you will find the Cape Air counter, a TSA screening checkpoint a few steps away, a waiting lounge, restrooms and a courtesy phone. There are no concessions, no lounges and no jet bridges; passengers walk to the aircraft on the ramp. The fixed base operator shares the field, staffs it from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, and keeps 100LL self serve fuel available around the clock for general aviation traffic. A 2024 electrical vault project moved runway lighting controls out of the terminal building to improve reliability.

Passenger Traffic

The 2024 FAA count shows 2,970 commercial enplanements at GGW. The peak year was 2018 at 4,201 boardings, and the low point was 2008, when scheduled service lapsed for most of the year and only 343 passengers boarded. The field logs about 8,200 aircraft movements a year, split between general aviation, air taxi and a small military count, and 51 aircraft are based on the airfield.

Parking Overview

Parking is free, in a surface lot directly in front of the terminal, close enough that you can see the entrance from your car. There is no separate long term zone, no shuttle and no pay station. Spaces fill on days when both Cape Air departures run full, so a chauffeur drop at the curb keeps your vehicle at home and frees you from the lot entirely.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

Drop off is at the curb outside the terminal doors on Airport Road. For arrivals, your chauffeur waits inside the terminal with a name sign, because the walk from aircraft to door takes under two minutes and bags come off the Cessna by hand almost immediately. Tell us your Cape Air flight number and we handle the rest. For departures we recommend arriving 60 minutes before the scheduled time; Cape Air closes check in 30 minutes before departure and the checkpoint opens shortly before each flight.

Ground Transportation Options

Choices are limited. Scottie Auto Rentals keeps a small fleet at the airport and should be reserved in advance. Valley County Transit runs a shared ride bus within Glasgow and a two mile radius on weekdays from 7:15 a.m. to 5 p.m., with scheduled runs to Nashua and St. Marie, though it does not meet flights. There is no taxi stand, and rideshare coverage in Valley County is sporadic at best. A prebooked chauffeur is the one option that guarantees a vehicle at the curb when the Cessna shuts down.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Pack for the season: January arrivals at Wokal Field often meet temperatures well below zero, and the walk across the ramp is open to the wind
  • Book lodging early during the Fort Peck Summer Theatre season, which runs from the weekend after Memorial Day through Labor Day and fills cabins at the lake
  • Buy a Montana fishing license online before you fly if Fort Peck Lake is the goal; walleye and northern pike season draws heavy traffic to the marina
  • Expect weak cell coverage south of town on Highway 24 and download maps before leaving the terminal
  • Watch for wildlife at dawn and dusk on US 2; a chauffeur who drives the route weekly knows the crossing zones
  • Keep connecting itineraries loose; Cape Air weather holds in Billings can shift arrivals by an hour or two

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Outperforms Taxis and Rideshare at GGW?

Glasgow has no taxi queue and rideshare drivers rarely sit near the field. A prebooked chauffeur is confirmed days ahead, tracks the flight, meets you inside, loads the bags and drives a quoted route at a fixed price. Taxis and rideshare, when available, charge by the meter on a 17 mile run to Fort Peck or a 50 mile run to Wolf Point, and cancellations in bad weather are common. For a corporate traveler with a meeting, an angler with a guide waiting at the ramp or a family with a relative in the hospital in Glasgow, certainty is the whole point.

Who Books Our GGW Airport Limo?

Energy and agricultural companies send crews through Glasgow year round. Attorneys and engineers fly in for county business. Hunters arrive each October for the Missouri Breaks and the CMR refuge. Wedding parties gather at Fort Peck and need everyone moved from the airport to the lake on a single schedule. Our Montana airport Sprinter van service handles the crews and fishing groups, and our Montana chauffeur service covers the executive and medical trips that call for a sedan and a discreet driver. Union Limousine applies the same standards to every booking: professional attire, background checked chauffeurs, commercial insurance and a vehicle inspected before every run.

Yes. Rear facing, forward facing and booster seats are available on request at booking. Let us know ages and weights and the chauffeur installs them before leaving for the airport.
