What we offer

Missoula Montana (MSO) Airport Limo Service

Corporate teams, wedding parties and Griz game crowds get one chauffeur and one vehicle for the whole trip. Missoula Montana (MSO) Airport Limo Service handles every pickup all across western Montana.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Missoula Montana (MSO) Airport

Touch down in the Garden City and walk straight to a waiting chauffeur. Missoula Montana (MSO) Airport Limo Service from Union Limousine covers every arrival and departure at the East Concourse, from a single executive on the morning Denver flight to a 56 passenger group bound for the Bitterroot Valley. Our Montana airport limo service tracks each inbound flight in real time, so your driver is already in baggage claim with a name board when the carousel starts turning. You get a licensed, insured vehicle, a fixed quote agreed before pickup, and a chauffeur who knows the Reserve Street corridor, the University District and the two lane highways that fan out toward Flathead Lake and Glacier National Park.

Why Travelers in Montana, MT Choose Us at MSO?

Missoula Montana Airport sits on West Broadway just off Interstate 90 at exit 99, about five miles and fifteen minutes from downtown. That short hop sounds easy until you are juggling ski bags, fly rods, a stroller and a connecting flight that arrived forty minutes late. Union Limousine takes that friction out of the trip. Reservations are confirmed by email and text, chauffeurs are background checked and trained in winter driving, and every vehicle is cleaned between rides. Our Montana limo service runs statewide, and MSO is the busiest gateway on the western side of the Continental Divide, so we keep sedans, SUVs and Sprinter vans positioned nearby for last minute requests.

  • Real time flight monitoring on Alaska, Allegiant, American, Delta, Sun Country and United arrivals
  • Meet and greet inside the terminal or curbside pickup at the East Concourse doors, your choice
  • Flat rate pricing quoted in advance with no surge multiplier on game weekends or holiday travel
  • Child seats, ski racks and extra luggage space available on request
  • Chauffeurs trained for Lolo Pass, Evaro Hill and winter conditions on US 93 and Highway 200
  • One account manager for corporate travel programs, wedding parties and tour groups

MSO Airport Limo Service Options in Montana, MT

Executive Airport Transfers

Business travelers headed to downtown offices, the Missoula College River Campus, Providence St. Patrick Hospital or the Community Medical Center get a quiet sedan or SUV, a chauffeur in professional attire, bottled water and a phone charger. We hold the vehicle through delays at no extra charge and can arrange a return pickup for the evening departure bank.

Group Arrivals and Departures

Conference delegates, university athletic teams, film crews working the Big Sky Documentary Film Festival and wildfire season contractors all move through MSO in groups. A Sprinter van or mini coach keeps everyone together with their gear, and a single invoice keeps your accounting simple.

Weddings, Griz Game Days and Celebrations

Missoula hosts weddings at the Hilton Garden Inn, the Wilma Theatre, the Historic Fort Missoula grounds and riverside venues along the Clark Fork. Guests flying in for the big day step from the airport into a stretch limousine or party bus, and the same vehicle can shuttle the party between the ceremony, the reception and the hotel. Football Saturdays at Washington Grizzly Stadium and concerts at the Kettlehouse Amphitheater in Bonner are just as popular with our Montana chauffeur service clients.

Long Distance Rides From Missoula Airport

MSO is the closest commercial airport for a huge swath of western Montana. Families heading to lake houses at Polson and Bigfork, skiers bound for Whitefish Mountain Resort and anglers fishing the Blackfoot or the Bitterroot all book door to door rides that would otherwise mean a rental car pickup and three hours behind the wheel after a long flight. Our Montana Sprinter van service is the favorite for these trips because the raised roof, rear luggage bay and reclining seats make a 150 mile drive comfortable.

Our Fleet for Missoula Airport Rides

Every Union Limousine vehicle is late model, detailed before each pickup and matched to your party size and luggage count. Here is how we size a booking at MSO.

  • Sedans (1 to 3 passengers): Executive transfers, couples on a getaway and solo travelers who want a quiet ride downtown or to the university.
  • SUVs (up to 6 passengers): Families with gear, small sales teams and winter trips where extra ground clearance on Evaro Hill or Lolo Pass matters.
  • Stretch Limousines (up to 20 passengers): Weddings, anniversary dinners at the Depot, prom nights and VIP arrivals who want to make an entrance.
  • Sprinter Vans (up to 14 passengers): Fishing and hunting parties, ski groups bound for Whitefish or Snowbowl, and corporate teams who want to work on the way.
  • Party Buses (up to 30 passengers): Bachelor and bachelorette weekends, brewery tours along the Missoula beer trail and Griz tailgate crews.
  • Mini Charter Buses (up to 35 passengers): Conference shuttles, youth sports teams, church groups and university visits with a single luggage bay.
  • Full Size Charter Buses (up to 56 passengers): Tour operators, company retreats to Flathead Lake, large wedding guest lists and festival transportation.

Where We Drive From Missoula Montana Airport?

Missoula, the University District and Downtown

Most rides from MSO run east on Interstate 90 or along West Broadway into the heart of the city. Popular drop points include the University of Montana campus on Arthur Avenue, Caras Park and the Riverfront Trail, the Southgate Mall area, the Rattlesnake neighborhood and the hotels clustered around Reserve Street. Downtown Missoula is compact, so a chauffeur who knows the one way grid saves real time at rush hour.

Bitterroot Valley and Lolo

South of the city, US 93 follows the Bitterroot River through Lolo, Florence, Stevensville, Victor, Hamilton and Darby. Ranch guests, fly fishing lodges and the Ravalli County Airport in Hamilton all rely on MSO for commercial flights, and we run that corridor daily. A sedan reaches Hamilton in about an hour, while a Sprinter van handles a lodge group with coolers and rod tubes.

Flathead Lake, Polson and Glacier Country

North on US 93 through Arlee, St. Ignatius and Ronan brings you to Polson at the foot of Flathead Lake in roughly 75 minutes. Continue to Bigfork, Kalispell, Whitefish or the west entrance of Glacier National Park at West Glacier, and MSO becomes a practical alternative to Glacier Park International when fares or schedules line up better. We quote these longer runs as flat rates with no mileage surprises.

Nearby Airports We Connect

Clients sometimes fly into one Montana airport and out of another. We cover Glacier Park International (FCA) in Kalispell, Helena Regional (HLN), Bert Mooney Airport (BTM) in Butte, Bozeman Yellowstone International (BZN) and Great Falls International (GTF), as well as Spokane International (GEG) across the Idaho panhandle. If your group splits between two arrival cities, one booking can coordinate both pickups.

Missoula, Montana (MSO) Airport Information

Airport Name: Missoula Montana Airport | Code: MSO | Address: 5225 W Broadway St, Missoula, MT 59808, United States | Phone: +1 406 728 4381 | Official Website: flymissoula.com

Brief History and Importance

Missoula's first landing strip was laid out south of the university in 1923, and a field near the county fairgrounds served as Hale Field until 1954. The current airport opened in 1941 as Missoula County Airport, built with federal works money and the cooperation of the U.S. Forest Service, which still operates the largest smokejumper base in the nation on the airfield. The airport was renamed Johnson Bell Field in 1968, carried the Missoula International name for decades, and became Missoula Montana Airport in September 2021. Today it is owned and operated by the Missoula County Airport Authority on roughly 2,700 acres at 3,206 feet elevation, with a 9,501 foot main runway that handles everything from regional jets to the Neptune Aviation air tanker fleet that fights wildfires across the West. The county commissioners describe the rebuilt airport as the economic front door for western Montana, and the passenger numbers back that up.

Airlines Operating From MSO

Six airlines serve Missoula. Alaska Airlines connects to its Seattle and Portland hubs, Allegiant flies leisure routes to Las Vegas and Phoenix Mesa, American Airlines links Dallas Fort Worth and Chicago O'Hare, Delta Air Lines serves Salt Lake City and Minneapolis St. Paul, Sun Country Airlines adds summer Minneapolis flights, and United Airlines operates year round service to Denver with seasonal flights to Chicago and San Francisco.

Domestic Destinations

As of the current schedule the airport advertises nonstop service to 14 major U.S. markets. Year round nonstops include Seattle, Portland, Denver, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis St. Paul, Dallas Fort Worth, Chicago O'Hare, Las Vegas and Phoenix Mesa. Seasonal flights add San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and San Francisco during peak travel months. Seattle is the busiest route by passenger count, while Dallas Fort Worth is the longest nonstop at just under three hours.

Terminal Information

The old 1960s terminal was replaced in two phases. The South Concourse opened in mid 2022, the original building was demolished in 2023, and the 85,000 square foot East Concourse was finished in 2025, bringing two more boarding bridges, an expanded baggage claim, a new rental car center and additional dining. The terminal is a single building with one security checkpoint, so connections between gates take a few minutes on foot.

South Concourse

The first phase holds the main ticketing hall, TSA screening, the original gate block, a bar and grab and go food. Large windows frame the Bitterroot Mountains, and the airport allows non ticketed visitors past security in designated areas, a program that started in August 2024.

East Concourse

The 2025 expansion added gates, a consolidated rental car counter area and a larger baggage hall. Chauffeur meet and greet happens here, at the bottom of the escalators beside the carousels, where your driver waits with a printed name board.

Passenger Traffic

Missoula topped one million passengers for the first time in 2024 with 1,021,055 travelers, an 11.8 percent jump over the year before. The total rose again to 1,044,780 in 2025, and July 2026 set a single month record of 142,399 passengers during the height of the summer tourism season. The airport has ranked among the fastest growing small hub airports in the country for several years running.

Parking Overview

All public lots sit directly across from the terminal, and the first 60 minutes are free in every lot. Lots are patrolled by Public Safety Officers, accept major credit cards and include accessible spaces. LAZ Parking manages the operation and can be reached at (406) 802 0885.

Rate Snapshot

  • Long Term: first hour free, $6 for the second hour, $2 each additional hour, $12 per day
  • Economy: credit card only, first hour free, $4 per additional hour, $8 per day
  • Premium: closest to the doors, first hour free, $10 per additional hour, $20 per day

Pickup and Drop Off Guidance

Departing passengers are dropped at the curb in front of the South Concourse ticketing doors, where chauffeurs unload luggage and assist to the check in counters. Arriving passengers can choose a curbside pickup at the East Concourse baggage claim exit or a meet and greet inside. Commercial operators, including limousine companies, hold a Missoula County Airport Authority permit and stage in the designated ground transportation area, so you will never be asked to walk to a distant lot. Share your flight number when you book and we adjust the pickup time automatically.

Ground Transportation Options

Beyond chauffeured service, the airport lists a dozen local taxi and shuttle operators, Uber and Lyft pickups, complimentary hotel shuttles from many Reserve Street properties and on site rental cars from the major brands. Mountain Line, the city's zero fare bus system, runs Route 11 between the stop outside baggage claim and the downtown Transfer Center every day of the week. The bus is free and reliable for a light traveler with one bag, though it runs hourly and does not serve the Bitterroot or Flathead valleys.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Missoula sits at 3,200 feet, and winter temperatures swing fast. Keep a jacket in your carry on from October through April.
  • Cell coverage drops in the canyons on US 93 and Highway 200. Confirm your pickup details before you leave the terminal.
  • Campus visitors should review the University of Montana directions ahead of time, because event parking fills early on football and commencement weekends.
  • Summer wildfire smoke can delay flights in August. Give your chauffeur a flight number so pickups shift with the schedule.
  • Heading somewhere unusual? The Destination Missoula travel guide lists seasonal road closures and regional drive times.
  • Rental counters can run out of SUVs during ski season and hunting season. A prebooked chauffeur avoids that line entirely.

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at MSO?

Rideshare supply in Missoula is thin, especially before 6 a.m. and after the last Seattle arrival near midnight, and drivers often decline long runs to Hamilton or Polson. Taxis are metered, so a traffic backup on Reserve Street costs you money. A prebooked chauffeur is waiting before you land, the price is locked, the vehicle is sized to your luggage and the driver is accountable to a company with a permit on file at the airport. For groups, the math is simple: one Sprinter van replaces four separate rideshares at a lower combined cost and keeps everyone on the same schedule.

Your driver waits inside the East Concourse baggage claim with a name board, or at the curb outside the baggage claim exit if you prefer a quick curbside pickup. Either option is confirmed in your booking details.

The drive is about five miles and takes 12 to 15 minutes in normal traffic via Interstate 90 and West Broadway. Football Saturdays and rush hour can add ten minutes.

Yes. We quote Polson, Bigfork, Kalispell, Whitefish and West Glacier as flat rate rides from the airport, with Sprinter vans and SUVs available for groups with luggage and gear.

We track every inbound flight. If your arrival shifts, your pickup time shifts with it at no extra charge, and you will still find your chauffeur waiting when you reach baggage claim.

Infant, convertible and booster seats are available on request for sedans, SUVs and Sprinter vans. Add the seat type to your reservation so the chauffeur installs it before arrival.

For four or more travelers with luggage, one Sprinter van or SUV usually costs less in total and is far simpler to manage versus splitting into several rideshare cars, and the price is fixed in advance.

A Sprinter van or large SUV fits skis, boards and boot bags without stacking them on seats. Both are available with roof or rear racks for trips to Snowbowl, Discovery or Whitefish.

Reserve at least two weeks ahead for commencement, Homecoming and home football weekends. Vehicles sell out quickly on those dates, and early bookings lock in standard pricing.

Yes. One coordinator tracks each flight and schedules staggered pickups, or we station a Sprinter van at the terminal so guests ride together as they arrive.

Hourly bookings are available with a minimum, so your chauffeur can stay with you for meetings across Missoula, a brewery tour or a day trip to the Bitterroot Valley.
