What we offer

Monroe Regional (MLU) Airport Limo Service

Wedding guests and visiting teams fill one vehicle at the curb with our Monroe Regional (MLU) Airport limo service, from SUVs to 56 seat coaches, with chauffeurs who know every road around Monroe, LA.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Monroe Regional (MLU) Airport

A chauffeur who is already waiting when your flight from Dallas or Atlanta rolls up to the gate changes how a trip into northeast Louisiana begins. Our Monroe Regional (MLU) Airport limo service covers every arrival and departure at the terminal on Operations Road, with live flight tracking, a short walk to the curb, and a vehicle sized for your party and your luggage. As part of our Louisiana airport limo service, MLU reservations follow the same standard we hold at every commercial airport in the state: licensed chauffeurs, late model vehicles, and a price confirmed in writing before the car moves.

Monroe is a compact airport, and that works in your favor. Baggage claim sits a few steps from the arrivals doors, both parking lots are directly across the roadway, and the drive to downtown Monroe or West Monroe takes about ten minutes. We match that simplicity with a booking process that takes a couple of minutes and a pickup that happens exactly where and when you expect it, from the late Delta Connection arrival out of ATL to a 4:30 AM departure for the first American Eagle flight to DFW.

Why Travelers Across Louisiana Rely on Our MLU Chauffeurs?

Union Limousine has arranged airport transfers since 1997, and we bring that experience to Monroe with chauffeurs who know Highway 165, Interstate 20, the Louisville Avenue bridge, and the quickest route to the Louisiana Tech campus in Ruston. Here is what comes standard on every MLU reservation:

  • Live flight monitoring, so your pickup time moves with your actual arrival time on both the Dallas/Fort Worth and Atlanta routes
  • Complimentary wait time after landing, so you can collect checked bags without watching the clock
  • Meet and greet inside the terminal on request, with a name sign at baggage claim
  • Flat rate quotes for the Monroe and West Monroe area, with no surge pricing during Warhawks home games, graduation weekends, or Mardi Gras parades
  • Child seats, extra luggage capacity, and accessibility accommodations arranged at the time of booking
  • One confirmation number that covers both legs of a round trip, with the return pickup already scheduled

Monroe Regional (MLU) Airport Limo Service for Every Type of Trip

Business Travel and Corporate Accounts

Monroe keeps a steady stream of executives moving through MLU. Lumen Technologies is headquartered downtown, the Meta data center project in nearby Richland Parish has brought engineers and contractors into the region on weekly rotations, and the medical campuses at St. Francis and Ochsner LSU Health Monroe host visiting specialists year round. Corporate accounts receive monthly invoicing, a dedicated booking contact, and chauffeurs who keep the cabin quiet when you need to take a call. Our MLU airport car service sedans and SUVs carry device chargers, bottled water, and tinted privacy glass, so the ride from the airport to a boardroom on DeSiard Street doubles as prep time.

Weddings, Proms and Celebrations

Wedding venues along the Ouachita River and in the Garden District fill up from March through November, and ULM formals and area high school proms crowd the spring calendar. Our stretch limousines and party buses handle the airport leg for out of town guests, the ride between the ceremony and the reception, and the late night return to hotels along the Highway 165 corridor or near Pecanland Mall. Book our limo service for the full day and keep one chauffeur with your group from the first pickup to the last drop off.

Group Arrivals, Athletic Teams and Conventions

When a visiting team flies into MLU for a game at Malone Stadium, or a trade group arrives for a show at the Ike Hamilton Expo Center in West Monroe, one coach at the curb beats a row of rental cars. Our Louisiana charter bus rental coaches seat up to 56, with luggage bays built for equipment cases and tournament gear. Mini coaches and Sprinter vans cover groups of 14 to 35, and we stage vehicles at the airport curb or at a hotel for a timed departure that keeps the whole group together.

Our Fleet for Monroe Regional Airport Transfers

Every reservation is matched to a vehicle that fits the passenger count and the luggage load. All vehicles are inspected before dispatch and arrive cleaned, fueled, and climate controlled, which matters in a Louisiana August.

  • Sedans (up to 3 passengers): Executive sedans for solo business travelers and couples, with room for two large suitcases and carry ons. The right pick for a quick run between MLU and downtown Monroe, ULM, or a hotel in West Monroe.
  • SUVs (up to 6 passengers): Full size SUVs with three rows and a generous cargo area. Ideal for families, small teams, golf groups headed to Frenchman's Bend, and anyone traveling with oversized luggage or hunting gear in season.
  • Stretch Limousines (up to 20 passengers): Classic stretch limos with wraparound seating, mood lighting, and a bar area. Chosen for weddings, anniversaries, proms, and arrivals that deserve a moment at the curb.
  • Sprinter Vans (up to 14 passengers): High roof vans with individual captain's chairs, USB charging, and a rear luggage compartment. The workhorse for corporate groups, wedding parties, and families flying in together for a reunion.
  • Party Buses (up to 30 passengers): Lounge style seating, premium sound, LED lighting, and a bar area. Popular for bachelor and bachelorette weekends, milestone birthdays, and group nights out that begin or end at the airport.
  • Mini Charter Buses (up to 35 passengers): Forward facing seats, overhead storage, and under floor luggage bays. Suited to conference delegations, athletic teams, and church groups arriving on the same flight.
  • Full Size Charter Buses (up to 56 passengers): Motorcoaches with restrooms, reclining seats, Wi Fi, and full luggage bays. Built for university groups, tour operators, and corporate events that move dozens of people between MLU and venues across the region.

Where We Drive: Monroe, West Monroe and Northeast Louisiana?

MLU sits on the east side of Monroe, about four miles from downtown and a short drive from the ULM campus. From the airport our chauffeurs cover the Twin Cities and the parishes that surround them, with service that extends across the state line into Arkansas and Mississippi when the trip calls for it.

Local Landmarks and Venues

  • University of Louisiana Monroe, Fant Ewing Coliseum, and Malone Stadium for Warhawks games, commencement, and campus visits
  • Monroe Civic Center and the downtown RiverMarket for concerts, conventions, and festivals
  • Biedenharn Museum and Gardens, the Masur Museum of Art, and the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum beside the airport
  • Ike Hamilton Expo Center and the West Monroe Convention Center for rodeos, trade shows, and livestock events
  • Pecanland Mall, Antique Alley in West Monroe, and the hotel cluster along Highway 165
  • Black Bayou Lake National Wildlife Refuge and Chemin a Haut State Park for birding, fishing, and outdoor weekends
  • Lumen Technologies, St. Francis Medical Center, and the Ochsner LSU Health Monroe campus

Regional Trips from MLU

Ruston and Louisiana Tech University are about 35 minutes west on Interstate 20. Bastrop, Farmerville, and Lake D'Arbonne lie to the north along Highway 165 and Highway 33. East of Monroe, the Poverty Point World Heritage Site near Epps draws archaeologists, school groups, and international visitors who land at MLU and need a chauffeur for the hour long drive, and Vicksburg, Mississippi is roughly 75 miles down Interstate 20. We also run transfers to El Dorado, Arkansas and Natchez, Mississippi on request.

Connections to Other Louisiana Airports

When a schedule change leaves you without an MLU flight, or when a group needs an airport with a wider choice of nonstop routes, we drive directly. Shreveport Regional (SHV) is about 100 miles west on Interstate 20, Alexandria International (AEX) is roughly 95 miles south, Baton Rouge Metropolitan (BTR) is around 170 miles, and Louis Armstrong New Orleans International (MSY) is about 250 miles. Our Louisiana airport car service network applies the same chauffeur standard at every one of them, and our Louisiana limo service covers point to point trips between Monroe and any city in the state.

Monroe Regional (MLU) Airport Information

A Brief History and Why MLU Matters

Monroe's aviation story starts in the 1920s, when a crop dusting operation based here grew into Delta Air Service, the company that became Delta Air Lines. The airport still promotes itself as the birthplace of Delta, and its logo borrows the airline's triangle. During World War II the field became Selman Army Airfield, a training center where Army Air Forces navigators earned their wings from 1942 until the base closed in 1945, and one of the last surviving Selman Field buildings now houses the Chennault Aviation and Military Museum. The city owned airport covers 2,660 acres with two runways, the longest at 7,504 feet, and functions as the commercial gateway for Ouachita Parish and the surrounding parishes of northeast Louisiana.

Airlines Operating from MLU

Two major carriers serve Monroe with regional jets. American Eagle flies to Dallas/Fort Worth, and in April 2026 American added a further daily DFW frequency to meet demand. Delta Connection flies to Atlanta. United Express ended its Houston service in early 2022, and local officials continue to court new carriers. On the cargo side, FedEx Feeder flights operated by Baron Aviation link Monroe with the FedEx hub in Memphis.

Domestic Destinations

Nonstop passenger service from MLU reaches two of the busiest hubs in the country: Dallas/Fort Worth International (DFW) and Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International (ATL). Between August 2025 and July 2026 those two routes carried over 123,000 passengers between them, split almost evenly. From DFW and ATL, one stop connections open up the entire American and Delta networks, which is why a reliable ride to the airport in Monroe is the first link in trips to New York, Los Angeles, London, and beyond.

Terminal Information

MLU operates a single passenger terminal of nearly 60,000 square feet that opened in October 2011, replacing the original building on an adjacent site. It has six gates, four of them equipped with jet bridges, along with ticket counters, baggage claim, on site rental car counters, a gift shop, and a restaurant and bar that opens at 4:00 AM on weekdays and 7:00 AM on weekends. There is one security checkpoint, and American asks passengers to complete check in at least 45 minutes before departure.

Passenger Traffic

The airport has posted three straight years of growth. MLU handled 191,874 passengers in 2023, a record 204,294 in 2024, and 216,481 through November 2025, which set a new annual record before December was even counted. The momentum carried into 2026, with just over 26,000 departing passengers in the first quarter compared with about 22,000 a year earlier, a bump airport leadership credits to construction traffic for the Meta data center, stronger leisure travel, and the added Dallas flight. The FAA lists MLU among the primary commercial service airports in its National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems, which keeps the airport eligible for federal improvement funding. Military and general aviation activity, including a National Guard presence, adds to the roughly 100 daily aircraft movements.

Parking Overview

Two surface lots face the terminal. Lot A is short term: the first hour is free on the day you arrive, up to two hours costs $3, and the 24 hour maximum is $9. Lot B is long term: $2 for the first hour, with a 24 hour maximum of $7. Both lots are open around the clock, covered by cameras, and patrolled by the Monroe Police Department. Payment is by card only on exit, as cash and checks are not accepted, and a lost ticket is charged at the daily maximum plus a $100 fee if the stay runs past 24 hours. Disabled veterans park free with a valid ID card or Louisiana Disabled Veterans plate, and 19 accessible spaces are split between the lots. Full details are on the airport's parking and transportation page.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

The terminal has one curbside roadway. Departing passengers are dropped at the ticketing entrance, and arriving passengers exit through the doors beside baggage claim. Because the short term lot is free for the first hour, our chauffeurs park in Lot A, watch your flight on the arrivals board, and pull to the curb the moment you text that your bags are in hand. If you prefer a meet and greet, the chauffeur waits inside at baggage claim with a name sign. For departures, give us your flight number and we will schedule the pickup so you reach the checkpoint with time to spare, even on the earliest morning bank of flights.

Ground Transportation Options

Avis, Hertz, National, and Budget operate rental counters inside the terminal. Monroe Transit runs a bus to the airport about every 45 minutes, Monday through Saturday, between 6:20 AM and 6:40 PM, with transfers available at the downtown terminal. A handful of local taxi companies dispatch from off site, and a few hotels on the Highway 165 corridor, including the Courtyard by Marriott and the Residence Inn, run their own shuttles. Rideshare coverage in Monroe thins out in the evening and on weekends, which is when a confirmed chauffeur reservation earns its keep.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

  • Arrive 75 to 90 minutes before departure on weekday mornings, when the early DFW and ATL flights share one checkpoint.
  • Northeast Louisiana weather turns quickly. Thunderstorms in spring and summer and the occasional winter ice event can delay flights, so check the terminal forecast from the National Weather Service in Shreveport before you leave for the airport.
  • Baggage claim is small, so large groups should assign one person to gather luggage while the rest head to the curb.
  • Cell service is strong across the terminal, which makes texting your chauffeur on landing simple.
  • If you need a rental car for later in your trip, book it in advance, as the on site counters carry limited inventory during ULM home weekends and the holidays.

Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at MLU?

Monroe is a small market, and that cuts both ways for on demand transportation. Taxi fleets are modest, app based drivers are scarce late at night, and a cancelled flight can strand a traveler at the curb while the parking lots empty out. A reservation with Union Limousine removes that uncertainty: the chauffeur is assigned the day before, the vehicle is confirmed, and the price is fixed regardless of demand. Flight tracking means a two hour delay out of Atlanta changes nothing on your end, and the same chauffeur who dropped you off can be waiting when you return. For executives, wedding parties, and families with young children, that predictability is the whole point.

We schedule pickups so you reach the terminal 75 to 90 minutes before a scheduled departure, with a wider buffer for the early morning flights. For addresses outside Monroe and West Monroe we build in extra driving time, and you can request an earlier pickup at no additional cost.

Yes. Every airport reservation is tied to your flight number, and our dispatch team monitors it from departure to touchdown. If your flight from Atlanta or Dallas is late, the chauffeur adjusts automatically and you pay nothing for the delay.

Transfers within the Twin Cities are quoted as a flat rate based on vehicle type, with tolls, fuel, and standard wait time included. You will see the full price before you confirm, and it does not change with traffic, weather, or demand.

Absolutely. Select the meet and greet option when you book, and your chauffeur will be waiting inside at baggage claim with a personalized sign. This is popular with first time visitors, executives, and families traveling with young children.

Yes. Forward facing seats, rear facing infant seats, and booster seats are available on request for sedans, SUVs, and Sprinter vans. Let us know the ages of the children when you book so the correct seats are installed before pickup.

A full size SUV comfortably carries six passengers with four large checked bags and several carry ons. For golf bags, hunting gear, or oversized equipment, a Sprinter van gives you a dedicated rear luggage compartment with room to spare.

Yes. Ruston is about 35 minutes west of the airport on Interstate 20, and we run Sprinter vans, mini coaches, and full size motorcoaches for recruiting visits, game days, and campus events. Round trips can be booked under one confirmation.

No. Early morning pickups for the first American Eagle departure are priced at the same flat rate as any other transfer. Your chauffeur is assigned the day before and will text you on arrival at your address.

We do. Many travelers use Monroe for one leg of a trip and a larger airport for the other. Shreveport Regional is about 100 miles away and New Orleans is roughly 250 miles, and both are quoted as flat rate long distance transfers with a single chauffeur for the whole trip.

Two weeks is ideal for motorcoaches and mini coaches, and a month or more is wise around ULM graduation, football season, and major conventions at the Monroe Civic Center. Sedans and SUVs can usually be confirmed with 24 hours notice.
