Shreveport Regional (SHV) Airport Limo Service
Corporate teams and wedding parties arriving at SHV ride together in Sprinter vans, stretch limos or coaches. Shreveport Regional (SHV) Airport Limo Service that scales from one traveler to fifty six.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Shreveport Regional (SHV) Airport
Regional jets from Dallas Fort Worth, Atlanta, Houston, Denver, Charlotte and now Chicago touch down at Shreveport Regional throughout the day, and each one carries travelers who want the drive into town handled before they reach baggage claim. Our Shreveport Regional (SHV) Airport Limo Service takes care of that moment. A licensed chauffeur watches your flight, meets you inside the terminal, carries your bags and drives you to Shreveport, Bossier City or anywhere in the ArkLaTex in a vehicle detailed that same morning. The standards you find at SHV run through our entire Louisiana airport limo service, so a traveler who flies into Shreveport on Monday and Baton Rouge on Thursday receives the same chauffeur, the same vehicle class and the same flat quote both times.
Why Louisiana Travelers Choose Our SHV Limo Service?
Shreveport Regional sits on Hollywood Avenue in west Shreveport, about ten minutes from downtown and fifteen from the Bossier City riverfront. Taxis queue outside when flights bunch up and rideshare pricing climbs the moment a Delta and an American arrival overlap. Union Limousine removes the guesswork. Your rate is fixed when you book, your chauffeur is assigned the night before, and your vehicle is positioned at the airport before your wheels touch the runway.
- Live flight tracking on every SHV arrival, so a late departure out of Atlanta or a hold at DFW never costs you a car
- Meet and greet inside baggage claim with a name sign, or a curbside handoff if you prefer to walk straight out
- Flat quotes that include fuel, tolls where applicable and standard wait time, with gratuity shown up front
- Chauffeurs who know the Interstate 20, Interstate 49 and Interstate 220 interchanges around the airport and the fastest route to Barksdale gates
- Vehicles from executive sedans to 56 passenger coaches, all maintained and insured for commercial airport work
- One reservation desk that answers around the clock, including holiday weekends and Independence Bowl week
Who Rides With Us From Shreveport Regional?
Corporate Arrivals Into Downtown Shreveport and the Red River District
Energy firms tied to the Haynesville Shale, regional banks headquartered along Texas Street, and attorneys arriving for hearings at the Caddo Parish Courthouse make up a large share of our weekday pickups. A chauffeur meets the executive at the gate area exit, the car is cool and quiet, and the laptop opens before the vehicle clears the airport loop. For a day of back to back meetings we recommend our hourly airport chauffeur service in Louisiana, which keeps the same driver and vehicle on standby from the morning pickup through the evening return.
Barksdale Air Force Base Families and Official Visitors
Barksdale Air Force Base sits across the Red River in Bossier City, roughly twenty minutes from SHV depending on the Interstate 20 bridge traffic. We handle PCS arrivals with trunks full of luggage, families flying in for graduations and ceremonies, and civilian contractors who need a quiet ride to the visitor center. Our chauffeurs carry proper identification and understand gate procedures, so the handoff at the entrance stays smooth.
Casino, Concert and Game Day Crowds
Horseshoe Bossier City, Margaritaville Resort Casino, Bally's Shreveport and Sam's Town all draw fly in guests from Texas and Arkansas, and many of them want a stretch limousine or Sprinter van waiting when they land. We also run heavy volume for concerts at Brookshire Grocery Arena, home games at Independence Stadium, the Radiance Technologies Independence Bowl in December and the Mudbugs schedule at George's Pond at Hirsch Coliseum. If you are flying in a group, book the vehicle by headcount and we will stage it in the commercial lane with your party name on the window.
Medical, University and Family Travel
Patients and families heading to Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, Willis Knighton Health or CHRISTUS Highland rely on us for calm, punctual rides that start at baggage claim and end at the hospital entrance. We carry Centenary College and LSU Shreveport families at move in and commencement, and we meet grandparents arriving for Christmas in Natchitoches with car seats already installed on request.
Our Fleet for Shreveport Regional Airport Transfers
Every vehicle below is available for SHV pickups and drop offs across Louisiana. Capacities are passenger counts with luggage; tell us how many checked bags are traveling and we will size up when needed.
Executive Sedans, Up to 3 Passengers
Black full size sedans with leather seating, bottled water and phone chargers. Ideal for a single executive, a couple heading to a Bossier City casino resort, or a patient and companion traveling to a Shreveport hospital. Trunk space handles two large suitcases and two carry ons.
Luxury SUVs, Up to 6 Passengers
Full size SUVs with three rows and a deep cargo area. Suited to families arriving for Barksdale ceremonies, golf foursomes bound for Southern Trace or Squire Creek in Choudrant, and small teams who want to ride together with sample cases and garment bags.
Stretch Limousines, Up to 20 Passengers
Classic stretch limousines in 8, 10 and 20 passenger configurations with bar setups, mood lighting and privacy glass. Bachelor and bachelorette parties flying in for a casino weekend, wedding parties connecting from SHV to venues in Shreveport or Benton, and milestone birthday groups book these most often.
Sprinter Vans, Up to 14 Passengers
Tall roof Sprinter vans with forward facing captain's chairs, rear luggage bays and onboard power. The right choice for corporate groups attending a conference at the Shreveport Convention Center, athletic teams, and multi family reunions arriving on the same Allegiant flight from Las Vegas or Orlando.
Party Buses, Up to 30 Passengers
Party buses with wraparound seating, sound systems and LED lighting for groups who want the celebration to start at the airport. Popular for casino crawls between Bossier City properties, Mardi Gras weekend in Shreveport and tailgate groups arriving for Independence Bowl week.
Mini Charter Buses, Up to 35 Passengers
Midsize coaches with reclining seats, overhead storage and underfloor luggage bays. Church groups, school bands flying in for competitions and corporate retreats heading out to Cypress Bend Resort on Toledo Bend find these the most efficient way to leave SHV together.
Full Size Charter Buses, Up to 56 Passengers
Full size motorcoaches with restrooms, WiFi, climate control and room for every checked bag. We dispatch these for conventions, incentive groups, military reunions and university athletics programs arriving at Shreveport Regional on chartered or scheduled flights.
Where We Drive From Shreveport Regional Airport?
Shreveport and Bossier City
Most SHV transfers end within Caddo and Bossier parishes. Downtown Shreveport, the Red River District, Highland, Broadmoor, South Highlands and the Youree Drive corridor are all within fifteen minutes. Across the river, the Louisiana Boardwalk Outlets, the casino row along the riverfront, Louisiana Downs and the neighborhoods surrounding Barksdale are another ten minutes beyond that. Caddo Parish itself dates to 1838 and remains the economic anchor of northwest Louisiana; the Parish of Caddo history page offers a useful backdrop for visitors who want context on the region they are driving through.
North Louisiana, East Texas and Southwest Arkansas
Because Shreveport Regional is the only commercial airport with major carrier service in the ArkLaTex, we routinely carry passengers well beyond the city. Minden, Natchitoches, Mansfield, Many and the Toledo Bend lakefront are common southbound and eastbound runs. Ruston and Louisiana Tech, Monroe and West Monroe, and Grambling sit along Interstate 20 to the east. Westbound, we serve Marshall, Longview, Tyler and Texarkana, and northbound we reach Magnolia, El Dorado and Hot Springs in Arkansas. Each of these routes is priced as a flat transfer, and all of them fall under our statewide limo service in Louisiana and its neighboring state coverage.
Sedan Transfers and Group Arrivals
Travelers who need a single black car with no extras can book our SHV airport car service and receive the same chauffeur standards at a sedan rate. Groups of eight to fourteen arriving on one flight usually do best with Sprinter van rental at Louisiana airports, which keeps everyone and their luggage in one vehicle. Union Limousine coordinates both from the same dispatch desk, so a company flying in a VP on Delta and a sales team on United can book one reservation and receive two vehicles timed to each arrival.

History and Regional Importance
Commercial flying in Shreveport began at the downtown field in 1931, with Delta already serving the city from 1929. Growth downtown and military traffic from Barksdale pushed planners to the western edge of the city, and voters approved the present site in 1949. The airport opened on July 6, 1952 as Greater Shreveport Municipal Airport with Delta, Chicago and Southern, and Mid Continent as its first carriers. A 160,000 square foot terminal with two concourses arrived in 1971 along with the current name, and the airport later operated as a Delta mini hub. A $30 million renovation unveiled in November 1999 added a 66,000 square foot terminal building and consolidated ticketing, rental cars and baggage claim. Today SHV anchors passenger service for northwest Louisiana, East Texas and southwest Arkansas, and its AeroPark and cargo complexes support aircraft maintenance and freight operations that employ hundreds in Caddo Parish.
Airlines Operating at SHV
Four passenger airlines serve Shreveport Regional. American Airlines connects the city to its Dallas Fort Worth and Charlotte hubs. Delta Air Lines flies to Atlanta. United Airlines serves Houston Intercontinental and Denver, and on October 25, 2026 it added daily service to Chicago O'Hare, giving Shreveport a direct link to the largest United hub. Allegiant Air provides the leisure routes, with year round flights to Las Vegas and Orlando Sanford and seasonal service to Nashville and Destin Fort Walton Beach. Carriers have shifted toward 76 seat regional jets in recent schedules, which has raised seat counts without adding many departures.

Terminal Information
SHV operates a single passenger terminal that combines the 1971 concourse building with the 1999 addition that houses ticketing, baggage claim and rental car counters on one level. Two security checkpoints were merged into a single checkpoint in 2018, which simplifies the walk from the curb to the gates. In May 2026 the Shreveport Airport Authority cut the ribbon on expanded gate areas at Gates 1 and 8, adding seating and boarding capacity ahead of the Chicago launch. Dining and retail concessions are available inside the terminal, and the compact footprint means a passenger can move from curb to gate in a few minutes on a typical morning.
Passenger Traffic
Shreveport Regional has posted steady gains for several years. The airport carried 715,500 passengers in 2024, its highest total since 2000, and then recorded 800,135 passengers in 2025, the first time it crossed 800,000 since 1980. Summer 2025 ranked as the fourth busiest in the airport's history, with over 307,000 travelers between May and August. Roughly 21 to 22 scheduled departures leave each day across ten nonstop destinations, and airport leadership has signaled interest in further routes as demand allows.
Parking Overview
Self parking is split across five color coded lots within walking distance of the terminal, all managed on behalf of the airport by SP Plus. Current rates and lot maps are posted on the Shreveport Regional parking page, and the figures below reflect that page at the time of writing.
Lot by Lot Rates
Short Term and Premium Lots
- BLUE lot: $1 plus tax per 15 minutes, $18 plus tax daily maximum; fully automated and card only at exit
- RED lot: $1 plus tax per 20 minutes, $14 plus tax daily maximum
- ORANGE lot: $1 plus tax per 20 minutes, $11 plus tax daily maximum
Economy Lots
- PURPLE lot: $13 plus tax per day with a 99 cent processing fee
- GREEN lot: $9 plus tax per day with a 99 cent processing fee
Payment Notes
RED, ORANGE and BLUE accept most major credit cards; cash is not accepted between midnight and 8:00 am. PURPLE and GREEN are credit card only and are paid by scanning a QR code at the lot entrance and selecting the number of days. Disabled veteran validation is available in the RED and ORANGE lots from 8:00 am to midnight with proper documentation.
Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance
Departing passengers are dropped at the terminal curb outside ticketing. Arriving passengers exit through the baggage claim doors; rideshare pickups are in a marked area to the right, beside the rental car lot, as described on the airport's app based ride services page. Our chauffeurs do not use that zone. For meet and greet bookings your driver waits inside baggage claim holding a sign with your name, then walks you to the vehicle in the commercial pickup lane. For curbside bookings we text the vehicle description and plate once you are off the aircraft, and the car pulls forward as you reach the doors.
Ground Transportation Options
Besides prearranged chauffeured service, SHV offers taxi service through Yellow Checker Cab, local limousine operators listed by the airport, Uber and Lyft, and on site rental car counters from the major national brands. SporTran, the city transit system, serves west Shreveport with fixed routes but does not provide a direct terminal connection that suits travelers with luggage. There is no rail service to the airport.
Tips for Arriving Passengers
- Baggage claim is a short walk from the gates; most bags appear within fifteen minutes of block in
- Confirm your chauffeur's name and vehicle through our text update before you reach the doors, especially at night
- If you are connecting onward by car, allow extra time on Interstate 20 toward Bossier City during the afternoon rush
- Cell coverage is strong throughout the terminal, so send your chauffeur a message the moment you land
- Returning travelers should check the current checkpoint guidance on the TSA security screening page before packing, since a single checkpoint means one line for every flight
The TSA security screening page is the authoritative reference for what can go in a carry on, and we recommend a 90 minute arrival window at SHV for morning departures when the checkpoint is busiest.
Why a Prebooked Chauffeur Beats Taxis and Rideshare at SHV?
Shreveport Regional is a midsize airport, which means the taxi line thins quickly and rideshare supply depends on how many drivers happen to be nearby when your flight lands. Late night arrivals from Las Vegas or Denver often face long app waits and surge pricing. A prebooked chauffeur removes that variable entirely. Your vehicle is dispatched against your flight number, your rate is locked at booking, and your driver is inside the terminal when you walk out of the secure area. Union Limousine also carries commercial insurance, background checked chauffeurs and vehicles inspected for airport work, which matters when the passenger is a client, a parent or a child traveling alone.
Reserve Your Shreveport Regional Airport Limo Before You Board
Booking takes two minutes online or one phone call. Tell us your flight number, arrival date, passenger count and destination, and Union Limousine returns a flat quote with the vehicle, chauffeur details and cancellation terms in writing. Reservations are confirmed around the clock, and our dispatch team stays in touch from the moment your aircraft leaves its origin until your luggage is in the trunk at SHV. Add your return flight at the same time and we will schedule the pickup from your hotel, home or office so the departure is as calm as the arrival. Our nationwide limo service network means the same account covers your connecting city, too.

For meet and greet bookings your chauffeur waits inside baggage claim holding a sign with your name, then walks you to the vehicle in the commercial lane. Curbside bookings receive a text with the vehicle description as soon as you land.
Sedans and SUVs can usually be confirmed with a few hours' notice. Stretch limousines, Sprinter vans and coaches should be reserved at least 48 hours ahead, and earlier for Independence Bowl week, Mardi Gras and major concert dates.
Yes. Every reservation is tied to your flight number, and dispatch adjusts the pickup automatically when your inbound flight is delayed or arrives early. You are never charged extra wait time caused by the airline.
We regularly drive to the Barksdale visitor center and to housing areas for passengers with proper access. The ride takes about twenty minutes from SHV depending on Interstate 20 traffic across the Red River.
Pricing is a flat rate based on vehicle class and destination, quoted before you confirm. A sedan transfer to the Bossier City riverfront is typically a short, fixed fare; stretch limousines and party buses are priced per vehicle.
Each airport pickup includes a standard grace period after the actual arrival time to clear baggage claim. Additional waiting beyond that window is billed in short increments at the rate shown on your quote.
A luxury SUV seats six but fills quickly with golf bags. For six golfers with clubs we recommend a Sprinter van, which keeps all passengers together and places the bags in a dedicated rear cargo bay.
Yes. Infant, convertible and booster seats can be added to any sedan, SUV or Sprinter reservation at no charge when requested at booking, so families arriving at Shreveport Regional do not need to travel with their own.
Absolutely. Add the return date, pickup address and departure time to the same reservation and we schedule both legs with a recommended departure buffer for the single security checkpoint at SHV.
We do. Marshall, Longview, Tyler and Texarkana are regular flat rate transfers from SHV, as are Magnolia, El Dorado and Hot Springs in Arkansas and Minden, Ruston, Natchitoches and Monroe in Louisiana.
