What we offer

Delta County (ESC) Airport Limo Service

Corporate teams flying into Delta County (ESC) Airport get one driver, one vehicle, and one invoice for the whole visit, with hourly charters covering mills, offices, and sites across the central U.P.

Stretch Limo Service to and from Delta County (ESC) Airport

Flights into Escanaba touch down on a quiet county airfield where the terminal doors open straight onto the parking apron, and the drive home or to the hotel begins within minutes. Our Delta County (ESC) Airport limo service is built for that pace. A chauffeur tracks your Delta Connection arrival, waits by baggage claim with a name sign, and loads your bags into a cleaned and warmed vehicle while other passengers are still hunting for a rental counter. Union Limousine runs this Michigan airport limo service across the Upper Peninsula with the same chauffeur standards we hold in New York, so travelers to Escanaba, Gladstone, Marquette, and Iron Mountain get a fixed quote, a professional driver, and a vehicle that matches the group.

Why Escanaba Travelers Choose Our ESC Limo Service?

Delta County Airport handles only a handful of airline departures each day, which means every arrival wave hits the curb at once and the few local taxis are spoken for in seconds. A prebooked chauffeur removes that scramble. We confirm the reservation in writing, assign a driver who knows the county roads along US 2 and Michigan Route 35, and keep the schedule flexible when weather over Lake Michigan delays the inbound jet.

  • Flight tracking on every ESC arrival, with pickup times adjusted automatically when Delta reschedules
  • Flat, all inclusive pricing quoted before you travel, with no surge rates during the U.P. State Fair or summer weekends
  • Chauffeurs trained for winter driving on Upper Peninsula highways, with vehicles fitted for snow and ice
  • Meet and greet inside the terminal, complimentary wait time, and help with luggage, skis, and fishing gear
  • Child seats, extra luggage space, and accessible vehicles available on request

Private Airport Transfers for Business and Leisure Flyers

Executives flying in for meetings at the Escanaba paper mill, the hospital campus, or the county offices on Ludington Street need a quiet sedan and a driver who is already parked when the CRJ taxis to the gate. Families heading to a cabin on Little Bay de Noc need an SUV with room for coolers and gear. Wedding parties, hunting groups, and corporate retreats need larger vehicles with a single point of contact. We cover all of it from one dispatch desk, and Union Limousine handles the return trip to ESC with the same attention, including an early departure cushion for the 45 minute check in cutoff.

Our Fleet for Delta County Airport Limo Transfers

Every vehicle in the fleet is late model, detailed before each trip, and driven by a background checked professional. Choose by passenger count and luggage load, and we will recommend the right class for your ESC transfer.

  • Sedans (up to 3 passengers): executive sedans for solo business travelers, couples, and anyone who wants a quiet ride to downtown Escanaba or Gladstone with two or three bags.
  • SUVs (up to 6 passengers): full size SUVs with all wheel drive, ideal for families, winter arrivals, and groups carrying skis, golf clubs, or hunting equipment to camps north of the airport.
  • Stretch Limousines (up to 20 passengers): classic stretch limos for weddings at lakeside venues, anniversary trips, prom nights, and celebration arrivals that deserve an entrance.
  • Sprinter Vans (up to 14 passengers): high roof vans with individual seating and generous cargo space for corporate teams, sports squads, and extended families landing on the same flight.
  • Party Buses (up to 30 passengers): club style interiors with lighting and audio for bachelor and bachelorette groups, casino runs to Harris, and birthday weekends in the U.P.
  • Mini Charter Buses (up to 35 passengers): comfortable coaches for conference shuttles, Bay College visits, tour groups, and church outings with luggage bays underneath.

Local Areas and Venues We Serve Around ESC

Escanaba sits on Little Bay de Noc, and its deepwater harbor has received Great Lakes freighters since the 1860s. The waterfront remains one of the working ports that tie the region to rail and highway freight, and it anchors the city's best known attractions: Ludington Park, the 1867 Sand Point Lighthouse, the Delta County Historical Museum, and the municipal marina. The Upper Peninsula State Fairgrounds host Michigan's only state fair each August, and our chauffeurs know the detours around fair traffic. Beyond the city we provide limo service in Michigan to Gladstone, Rapid River, Bark River, Wells, and the Island Resort and Casino in Harris, along with longer runs to Manistique, Fayette Historic State Park on the Garden Peninsula, Iron Mountain, and Marquette.

Corporate and Group Travel Across the Central U.P.

Companies that fly staff into ESC often need the same vehicle for several days: airport pickup on Monday, plant visits across Delta and Menominee counties midweek, and a return drop on Thursday. We structure hourly and daily rates for exactly that pattern, and a dedicated group shuttle can loop between the airport, hotels on North Lincoln Road, and job sites on a fixed timetable. For executives who want a consistent driver at every Michigan airfield, our Michigan airport chauffeur service coordinates ESC with Marquette, Iron Mountain, Green Bay, and Detroit connections under one account.

Delta County (ESC) Airport Information

Delta County Airport is the commercial gateway for the south central Upper Peninsula, a county owned field two nautical miles southwest of downtown Escanaba. The Federal Aviation Administration lists it as a nonhub primary commercial service airport in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems, one of roughly 520 Part 139 certified airports in the country.

History and Regional Importance

Escanaba was the first Upper Peninsula town with a landing field and flying school. Harry Cowling made the city's first airplane flight on July 3, 1911, and Upper Peninsula Airways dedicated the first airport on September 20, 1928, on 73 acres near US 2 and Groos Road. The City of Escanaba bought the present site on December 19, 1933, and Work Projects Administration crews began hangar construction in 1936. The terminal in use today opened in August 1969, designed for Convair airliners and the jets that followed, and North Central Airlines soon brought DC9 service to town. The city transferred the airport to Delta County in 1973, and after airline deregulation in 1978 ESC became part of the federal EAS program, which still underwrites its scheduled flights. A Republic F84F fighter stands at the entrance along Michigan Route 35, and recent federal grants have rebuilt the crosswind runway, taxiways, and commercial apron.

Airlines Operating from ESC

SkyWest Airlines operates every scheduled passenger flight at ESC as Delta Connection, so tickets, baggage rules, and SkyMiles earning all run through Delta. In January 2026 the U.S. Department of Transportation renewed SkyWest's contract for Escanaba through December 31, 2027, calling for 12 round trips per week on 50 seat CRJ550 regional jets. Contract freight carriers FedEx and UPS, along with Ameriflight feeder flights, medical transports, military movements, charters, and general aviation make up the rest of the daily activity.

Domestic Destinations

Scheduled service runs daily, year round, to Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW) and Minneapolis St. Paul International Airport (MSP). Both are Delta hubs, which gives Escanaba travelers one stop access to the East Coast, the West Coast, and international routes.

Terminal Information

ESC has a single passenger terminal. The Delta ticket counter, the TSA checkpoint, the departure lounge, and baggage claim all sit on one level, and the rental car desk faces the carousel on the east side of the building. A county run FBO on the field offers full service Jet A, a 24 hour self service avgas kiosk, heated transient hangars, and ground power for corporate and charter aircraft. The airfield is attended from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and has no control tower; two paved runways, 10/28 at 6,498 feet and 1/19 at 5,016 feet, include an ILS approach to runway 10.

Passenger Traffic

Roughly 17,670 passengers boarded flights at ESC in the twelve months ending September 2025, comfortably above the 10,000 annual boardings the FAA requires for the airport's one million dollar entitlement grant. Flight volume is modest, so arrivals cluster around a morning bank and a late afternoon bank, and the curb fills quickly when a jet unloads.

Parking Overview

Parking at Delta County Airport is free for airline and general aviation passengers. The short term lot sits just south of the main terminal and is meant for trips of one week or less; the long term lot lies farther south and is for longer absences, with stays capped at two weeks unless airport management approves an extension in writing. Long term parkers must take the farthest open space from the terminal, and vehicles left over a week past their stated return date can be towed. Lots are unmonitored, which is one reason many winter travelers prefer to leave the car at home and ride with us.

Pick Up and Drop Off Guidance

The terminal curb is a short walk from both lots, and chauffeurs stage in the short term lot until your flight is on the ground, then pull to the entrance as you collect your bags. For departures we drop at the terminal doors and remain until you have confirmed the flight is operating. SkyWest asks passengers to arrive 90 minutes before departure, and check in closes 45 minutes before the scheduled time, so we build those cushions into every pickup.

Ground Transportation Options

Enterprise keeps a rental office across from baggage claim, and the FBO offers a courtesy car for pilots. Taxi coverage in Delta County is thin and rideshare drivers are few, so on a busy arrival night a walk up ride may not be available at all. Our Delta County Airport car service is reserved in advance with a confirmed driver, which is the dependable option for late arrivals, early departures, and travelers continuing to Marquette, Iron Mountain, or Manistique.

Tips for Arriving Passengers

Check In Timing

For the return flight, allow the full 90 minutes SkyWest recommends. The checkpoint opens shortly before each departure and the counter closes strictly at the 45 minute mark; passengers and bags arriving later are not accepted. Baggage questions go to the local Delta line at +1 906 789 1136.

Winter Travel Note

Lake effect snow off Lake Michigan and Green Bay can close US 41 and US 2 for hours between November and April. If your itinerary continues into Wisconsin toward Marinette or Green Bay, check 511 Wisconsin for closures and travel times before you book the leg, and tell us your onward plans so the chauffeur can plan around the forecast.

Where to Meet Your Chauffeur

Your driver waits inside the terminal beside baggage claim holding a sign with your name. If a flight diverts or you need a different meeting point, text the dispatch number on your confirmation.

Flight Monitoring Included

We track your inbound flight from the moment it leaves DTW or MSP, so a delayed departure never means a stranded arrival and an early touchdown never means a wait.

Why Prebooked Chauffeur Service Beats Taxis and Rideshare at ESC?

At a large hub there is always another cab. At Delta County Airport there may be none, and rideshare apps often show no cars within 30 miles at 10 p.m. A reservation with Union Limousine guarantees a vehicle, a vetted driver, a quoted price, and a direct phone line to a dispatcher who already knows your flight. You also gain the vehicle you actually need, whether that is an SUV with gear space or a Sprinter for a group of twelve, and a driver who will carry bags, clear snow from the running boards, and keep the cabin warm while you clear the terminal.

Reserve Your Delta County Airport Limo Today

Booking takes a few minutes. Send us your Delta Connection flight number, passenger count, luggage details, and destination, and Union Limousine will return a written quote with your chauffeur's details the day before travel. Round trips, hourly charters, and multi day corporate packages are all available, and the same team can arrange limo service at any other airport on your itinerary. Call, email, or book online, and arrive in Escanaba with your ride already waiting.

Yes. Both the short term and long term lots are free for passengers, though stays are capped at two weeks without written approval and the lots are unmonitored. Many travelers still prefer a chauffeured ride in winter.

Delta Connection, operated by SkyWest Airlines, is the only scheduled carrier. Flights run daily to Detroit (DTW) and Minneapolis St. Paul (MSP) on 50 seat CRJ550 regional jets.

Absolutely. Marquette is about 65 miles north and Iron Mountain about 55 miles west, and both are common one way transfers. Quotes are flat rate and include tolls, fuel, and wait time.

Nothing changes on your end. We monitor the flight and move the pickup automatically, and there is no extra charge for airline delays. If a flight cancels, we reschedule or refund the trip.

Yes. SUVs and Sprinter vans in the Michigan fleet are equipped for snow and ice, and chauffeurs are experienced with lake effect conditions on US 2, US 41, and Michigan Route 35.

Sedans seat three, SUVs six, Sprinter vans fourteen, stretch limousines twenty, party buses thirty, mini coaches thirty five, and full size motorcoaches fifty six, all with luggage space.

Yes. Hourly and daily charters cover plant visits, hospital appointments, and multi stop days across Delta and Menominee counties, with the same chauffeur kept for the whole booking.
